Dr Gilda Banta saves the day again! :) I ended up with a cracked tooth this weekend, right in the front, from a metal water bottle mishap. I called first thing Monday morning and they were able to get me in by 10 am. One hour later, Dr Banta fixed the tooth and I was on my way. LUV DR McKay "Yoda" of dentists ... I came in today 2 cleaning...Dr McKay was oot but thankfully Dr Larissa ( new owner) was there & personally stepped in 4 my cleaning... it's been a yr since my prior visit due 2 other issues so no surprise that Dr Larissa discovered I had severe gum infection w draining...yikes ! Dr Larissa has hands of Gold w skills & personality 2 match ...she performed preop cleaning as I required " emergency " tooth distraction...Dr Larissa immediately sent me 2 their sister office Dr Issa Dental in Long Beach ...squeezing me in w their onsite resident periodontist DR AHN who has the hands of YO YO MA ! ...Dr Issa & Dr AHN got me in the chair immediately & removed the infection/tooth ! ... Dr AHN has mad skills ...such a kind individual I'm so grateful 4 the kindness, skills , professionalism & sincere caring that all of them did 4 me today ...this situation could have gone south in a nano second wo their compassionate response...above & beyond the norm I received from my prior Beverly Hills docs ...this group is the real deal ... The prices were soooo reasonable...the smiles & VIP service /care was exactly what I needed in this moment.... My dentist had retired; I woke up with a horrible, horrible toothache. My family member recommended Dr. Banta's office and I was not disappointed; I called and left a message in the wee hours of the morning and they got back with me within minutes of them opening and got me in the same day. I saw Dr. Dai and he was extremely informative with a comforting 'bedside' manner. I had a tooth, pulled and left the office with all the information I needed for self-care and within a couple of hours. Dr. Dai texted me to see how I was doing. Not very happy or pleased with the work performed. I needed my teeth temporarily fixed the day I saw the dentist but Dr Banta was more interested in a long term plan. I asked her to bond my lower front teeth from the inside but she refused and badly bonded the sides of the teeth giving very little stability. I had to go to a different dentist the following day and pay again (twice) and he said it was an easy fix and bonded my teeth from inside. Not very pleased with the work perform by Dr Banta.
