I asked why no one from Grossmont Vision didn't follow up with the lab when the lens didn't arrive on time. Once again they blamed the lab for the month delay. Then they said that they had the lens in the store. They never called me to tell me that the lens were in and I again asked why they didn't call my. The person from Grossmont Vision said in an angry tone "Your lens are here in the store if you want them. I waited for about ten minutes and was asked to follow a nurse to a small room to do several eye tests. She returned me to the waiting room which was attached to their eyeglass area with lots of frame options. Dr. Morgan came out and got me and escorted me to an exam room. He went through the normal battery of tests. He asked lots of questions and was straightforward with information which I appreciated. I got my new prescription and took a look around at all of the frames. All of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend to facility and Dr. Morgan. Every staff member greets you with a warm hello and smile. My previous Dr. left to another facility so I had the services performed by Dr. Rachel Inlow and she was nothing short of amazing. she was very detailed and conveyed the information in an easy to understand language. If you're due for you annual exam I highly recommend Lake Murray Optometric without reservation. Also recently my wife's expensive pair of glasses became damaged (one of the ear piece hinges broke and couldn't be repaired). I brought them to Lake Murray Optometric (where they were purchased) and Des Elsen one of the Opticians said she'd try and get the frames replaced under warranty. She was successful and when the frames were received she sent the frames out for installing the frame lenses. Everything was performed under warranty and with a smile. I then went to the glasses area where a person explained to me what my insurance covers and what will be out of pocket. I'm assuming they were reasonable prices, but I really don't have a clue. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that I felt like cattle being herded from one place to the next. It wasn't bad, but it just felt very sterile. It would have been nice to have had at least a cursory conversation as I picked out frames just to bounce ideas off of.
