I was extremely happy with the service here! I brought in a pair of Miss Me jeans, after I found a tear in the front near the zipper. I was worried about having it patched because the jeans are a little stretchy and I couldn't seem to get them to hold a stitch without unraveling more. Picking up two shirts I'd left for re-sizing yesterday completed my first experience with this place, and I couldn't ask for anything more. The price was just right ($35 to take in the torso of two button-up shirts, with one also needing the sleeves adjusted); The owner is super polite and helpful; The amount of time required for the work requested was reasonable, at about a week and a half (especially considering how popular the place appears to be, judging from the number of items on racks in the place awaiting pickup); And, most importantly, the results were exactly what I hoped they'd be. Most impressive was a button-up shirt with thin vertical stripes I needed to be sized down: The new seams were so well aligned and smooth that I had to really look closely to even find them, and even the stripes near the seam matched the spacing of the rest as to render them nigh-invisible to anyone not specifically looking. It seems increasingly rare to find a service of most any type that offers quality at reasonable pricing, and this place is a clear exception to the trend; I will absolutely be returning in the future. read more

I don't know what everyone else is going to this place for but I took my bridesmaid dress to her for alterations and she almost RUINED my dress! I asked for it to be taken in a lot as the dress was very much to big on the top and also asked for her to add little half sleeves to the dress to cover the largest part of my arm. She seemed very confident that she could do what I wanted. Two weeks later and the sparkle band on the underbust was coming apart, the dress was still 2 sizes to big, and the "sleeves" ripped off within 10 Mins. This is the WORST alteration I have ever received and I am fortunate that I still have time to go to someone else. The man I ended up taking my dress to said her work was the worse he had ever seen and doesn't know what she was thinking charging me for what she did. I will NEVER go back read more

I rarely have the need for alterations, but recently had a men's suit that was in dire need of major alterations and thankfully found Kim on yelp! My son was in a wedding party and had to purchase a size 44 long suit to have the coat fit his shoulders. He is very fit and needed the pants sized from a size 44 to 34 waist and the jacket taken in through the waist. Kim altered the suit perfectly (I thought it would be impossible).
