We were offered a free sample of the liquid filled chocolate which was nice but the staff member helping us was very lackadaisical. When I asked which chocolate was better or more popular he had basically no response. Same goes for when we were asking about the bonbons. It just seemed that he did not care about chocolate at all, which is fine, but not a great person to have selling your product. We ended up purchasing a box of mixed bonbons and liquid filled chocolates. Overall the chocolate was fine but not amazing. I enjoyed the scotch filled dark chocolate the most and my husband said the hazelnut truffle was pretty good. If you enjoy chocolate this is still worth a visit if you are in town, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop in.

There's a large shared parking lot, though there's a steep incline going up to and down from the lot from the street. Walking in, we were immediately greeted and self-identified as first-time visitors. We were given a quick tour of the place, where they made their chocolate by hand and their current selections of chocolate bars, toffee barks, and truffles. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to try the different intensities of chocolate bits they had available as samples. Ranging from 50% to 100%, my personal favorite was the 90%. We ended up getting 2 mint truffles, 2 coffee truffles, and a small bag of toffee bark for $16 + tax. They don't taste too bad with a glass of wine we had later that day, though they weren't our favorite chocolates. Overall, this chocolate factory is still worth a stop in to check out the chocolate making process, by which they still use direct-sourced cocao beans from Ecuador. They are under new ownership, yet they plan to begin offering wine pairings and couples nights in Summer 2026.
