As a tea aficionado, where else can you find a wall of affordable loose leaf teas of all differing brands and tastes? I've gotten to try so many different types of tea since discovering this since I can chose the amount I want and don't have to buy a pre-packaged specific amount. I've gotten all kinds such as black, oolong, green, and herbals. Deeeef recommend if you're a tea lover like me. They also have the same kind of thing but for coffee. Their cafe is also pretty decent! Recently came here and got their Mediterranean salad. It includes dolmas, pita, and hummus, as well as the salad. And went and got a side of soup and a roll at their self serve soup area to have alongside it. Everything was very yummy! I do wish they had slightly more plant based/veg options, but they do have a small handful so I don't wanna complain too much. Parking is generally easy and getting out ain't difficult either. All in all, this is my closest location, and I like it a lot!

One word to describe this winery: gorgeous! The new tasting…read moreroom is modern and beautifully designed, with thoughtful aesthetics throughout. The spacious patio and lovely views overlooking the vineyard make it an especially relaxing place to spend an afternoon. I came for the summer tasting event and I'm so glad I did! It's about a little under a hour's drive from Austin for me, but I had a free Sunday and the drive was really enjoyable, so it was definitely worth it especially since the wine was pretty good. For the tasting, the Cab Franc was the standout for me and I even ended up buying a bottle to take home. Honestly though, pretty much all of the reds were enjoyable. My server was friendly and attentive and even let me try a few wines that weren't included in my tasting, which I really appreciated. I also had the chance to meet one of the owners Daniel, who was incredibly friendly and introduced me to the in-house chef who makes the oven-fired pizzas. Seriously, don't skip the pizzas! They're still working on bringing the winery to its full potential, but based on my experience, I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the Hill Country area.

As soon as you walk in, there is large bar with sitting areas on both sides. One side was a little bit louder, by the food kitchen and another bar. The other side has couches and chairs only. Its very calm and relaxing. There's also a family bathroom and a bathroom with a bunch of unisex stalls. We ordered a tasting of 5-6 wines for $20. We started with the pinot noir sparkling, it was SO good made in the traditional method. We also tried the SpRonkling, Petit Manseng, 2 Tempranillos and a blend. The Rose sparkling was my favorite. Great hospitality and vibes all around, but not my favorite wines.

As we chatted with the other party, we learned that Siboney Cellars makes a delicious Cuban Sandwich. Will definitely come back to give that a try. As part of the Passport wine tasting, we were offered 4 different wines plus a small food pairing including toasted Cuban bread, Spanish Chorizo, Brie, Onion Bacon Jam and homemade Fudge. Everything was delicious and wine so smooth. I don't normally like Rose Wine but Barbara (owner/wine maker) did a great job, for all their wines. We learned a lot about wines and the vineyard during the food and wine tasting. Mark was so informative and a wealth of knowledge. We felt so special during our visit. Even though I have hundreds of bottles of wines at home, I left with 3 bottles. If you have not been, you should definitely stop by. In fact, there will be another Texas Wine passport event in late March to late April. We will definitely come back!!
