~This is the cutest cheese shop! We came in on a Friday afternoon & had a very pleasant experience trying different unique cheese along with flavored oils & vinegars. The fig vinegar was my favorite! I love that they carry a variety of items such as spices, spreads, honey & much more. The staff is friendly & welcoming. I look forward to my next visit!

To remain that long in anything, they have to be doing something right. The Reuben is a perfect Reuben as you'd expect. The chicken and dumplings are a good hidden gem, especially if it's cold or you're hung over. The hefeweizen on tap is the bomb. The breaded cutlets...all of them...pork, veal, and chicken are fantastic. The deviled eggs are purely what you'd expect. The atmosphere is pristinely German. The German chocolate cake is delicious. The potato salad is very good and nothing funky. This place is exactly perfectly German and if you know...you know. Don't forget the homemade root beer.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I ordered the veal Schnitzel with mushroom gravy (Jägerschnitzel) and red cabbage. The gravy had a strange gelatin-like consistency and lacked the rich flavor you'd expect from a proper Jäger sauce. The veal was extremely chewy and honestly made me feel ill afterward. The red cabbage was also very undercooked and completely lacked flavor. Overall, I personally did not find the food authentic or representative of true German cooking. What truly saved this experience was the outstanding customer service. Our server, Joseph, was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the meal. I also greatly appreciated Mr. Adam, the kitchen manager, who personally came out to discuss my concerns. He handled the constructive criticism with professionalism and openness, and I truly respected the fact that he listened carefully and considered my feedback regarding the sauce. Although I wouldn't personally return for the food, Joseph and Mr. Adam turned what could have been a terrible experience into one where I still felt valued as a customer. Their professionalism absolutely deserves recognition.

There are others mainly business class or tourists but they stay at Hotel Emma and definitely have money, or their employer's corporate card. Then there are the real carb eating customers who are there to actually consume goods. I finally had a free weekday to go to Pullnam now two years after they opened and loved my experience. Parking in the Pullman market was easy. It really is $0 with validation and for up to 2 hours. I was looking for ground flax, they only had whole. Looking for cinnamon infused honey, they did not have. Just weird shit like lavender infused. I enjoyed the elevated feel of the place, very transporting and nicely curated with so many spaces in and out doors to sit and people watch or just hang out with friends. Ate at Fife and Faro for a simple pizza and pomodoro pasta.

The store itself is very cute with different sections, seating areas, food vendors to select from, and connects to actual restaurants. The mediocre review is for the "Burgers by the Butcher" place towards the end of the store. The Wagyu burger sounded really good and had good reviews, but it was really dry and not very flavorful. Usually Wagyu is known to be juicy and moist, but this tasted nothing like that caliber. It was disappointing but at least not very pricy. Fries were okay but pretty chopped up and not the style I prefer. Some of the other places looked promising like the ice cream and cafe. The poke/ceviche also sounded good on paper but when we walked by (maybe around 1.5-2 hours before closing), the quality of the raw fish didn't look too great and was a little discolored so we passed. The store itself was very cute and had lots of nice and unique products.

There is plenty of seating at the bar and in the dining room and the overall ambiance feels like you walked into some place out of a magazine. Kudos to the designer for making this location so unique and easy on the eyes. If you like instagram worthy locations, add this to your list of places to visit. I sat at the bar where I was able to watch the kitchen hard at work while the bartenders pushed out wonderfully crafted cocktails. I also noticed there's a spot to place to go orders that's bordering the Pullman market and the bar at Fife & Farro which I definitely will be putting to use in the future when I don't have time to stay so long. This time I took it easy and only enjoyed a carpaccio and a Cesar salad but still left overly satisfied. I have to say this is HANDS DOWN THE BEST CARPACCIO I'VE EVER HAD. The Cesar dressing, lemon zest, parm, and fried capers really amplified the experience and had me lusting after this dish long after I left. The Cesar Salad was also amazing. Mine had a little more red onion than I care for but the dressing, ample amounts of parm, and the croutons really outshined that small detail for me. I enjoyed this experience so much that I'm already planning on coming back sometime next week, this time with company so I can check out the pizza & pasta too. I think it's an honorable mention to point out their seasonal pizza for the month of May, it's a collaboration with Best Quality Daughter, another stand out concept located at the pearl.

This place is full of different vendors peddling eggs, fruits and vegetables. As you approach the gate, there is a guy who asks you what you're looking for. I had heard eggs were available so that's what I went for first. He directed me to Lozano's, which was to the left back part of the area. They were limiting each person to 60 eggs for $10 (carton of 30 eggs). They had potato (80 cents), carrots (30 cents), tomatoes (70 cents), and zucchini (80 cents) by the pound. Corn was 25 cents/ear. Avocados and celery were 50 cents each. I headed to Solano Produce to see what they had and I saw that they were selling eggs. 15 dozens for $48. An angel helped me and told me that he had bought 15 dozens for $40. I drove to the left side 13 and 14 where Bluebird Produce is. They had eggs but had to wait. I asked if they had fruits and they gave me a box. There was a cooler full of various fruits and vegetables. Fill the box up and weigh the whole thing. Fruits were limited to apples and oranges. They had lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, avocados, yellow pepper and so much more. My box weighed 26 pounds and they charged $25. The eggs went from $40 to $45. I wasn't too happy with that sudden change but sucked it up to buy it anyway. I knew my extended family and neighbors could probably use them. I would go back but would probably shop around more to compare prices. Difficult times shouldn't be an opportunity to take advantage of people.
