    Burger with curly fries

When I was going to Colgate, this would be a consistent stop with my family when they were in town. Now if my family drives through Colgate (with or without me) they stop here too! The burgers are the best burgers I've had. Everything is so fresh and made perfectly! While I'm now allergic to dairy, their ice cream is delicious. My dad continues to get their ice cream shakes every time he stops!

I've been to Gilligan's twice now - once for ice cream, and then recently for dinner. This is the perfect place for some comfort food and a nice summer stop for ice cream. The menu is fairly standard "fast" food, but the quality is much higher than you will find at your local fast food joint. Does that make sense? The highlights here are clearly the burgers, as they feature one each week, as well as dedicating a page in their menu for them. If you are a burger and fries aficionado, then you will love this place. For onion ring lovers, they are hand breaded and a service size is generous...don't miss these. Prices are reasonable, as expected. Dinner for the two of us was around $17-18 with drinks included. Once you are done taking down your man sized burger, you will be sorely tempted to top it off with their homemade ice cream. And why wouldn't you when they have dozens of unique flavors...some with a local flare (Raider Passion for you Colgaters). I have had both the peanut butter cup and the cookie monster and was very pleased with both. If you are in a hurry, they also have a drive through, which was a nice touch.

Good food, but loses two stars for price. Also keep in mind that topical wait time is long.

Best shakes around! I'd get a boston shake everyday if I thought I could still fit in my pants afterwards!

Ice cream is delish, meals are delish, service is great and they are great with kids. Wait for hot food varies, but it's always fresh!

Cute little bread store run by really nice people! They sell everything from sourdough loaves…read more(plain, seeded, cranberry and walnut), baguettes to sandwich breads and more. They have a rotating menu that they list on their website (www.saltcitybread.com). By the time I got there mid-afternoon, they were sold out of their seeded (sesame, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds) sourdough. Plain sourdough loaves are $10 and the sourdough with inclusions are market price and range from $12-14 it seems. I got their chocolate chip cookie (with flaky salt from Syracuse Salt company) for $3.25, and it was delicious!! Thick cookie with crisp edges and a soft, fluffy center. Huge chocolate chips too! The flaky salt brings a nice balance as well. Will definitely be back!

This little bakery is very cute and offers a selection of different breads as well as sweets. The service is excellent and welcoming. These people know how to do bread WELL. I have tried their italian bread, focaccia, and their braided sesame bread-- which are all phenomenal! They have some sandwiches on their menu as well as some coffee available. On this occasion we ordered: - Braided sesame bread: this is my absolute favorite bread here. The presentation is beautiful, and the bread reminds me of a more savory challah with some salted olive oil hints that remind me of focaccia. The softness of the bread and the density make it so satisfying. It is perfect with both sweet and savory pairings. Super addictive--a loaf usually does not last longer than a day in our household. - Turkey sandwiches: we got a whole sandwich split into two halves. Size is pretty generous and one half is definitely enough for one person. This sandwich, although simple, stands out for its high quality ingredients. It came with generous sliced turkey that was not too salty, delicious gouda cheese, high quality mayo, fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The white bread is made in-house and feels super fresh and fluffy. They were super nice and gave us two bags of chips to compliment our dinner even though we technically ordered only one sandwich. We got it split into two separate containers and my fiancé and I each got our own pickle! Perfect option to get to-go. - Peanut butter cookie: I initially wanted to try the chocolate chip but they sadly ran out. However this was actually an amazing cookie. The thickness was perfect, not too thick and not too thin. It had nice bits of peanut butter and the cookie itself was super buttery, soft but with a nice caramelized crust, and not too sweet. There was a surprise Reeses PB cup in there which was very pleasant. Very good cookie! Cannot wait to come back and try their chocolate chip one. Overall, this bakery is a 10/10 and a very great asset to the area. Even though their selection is limited, I think they really focus on doing the few things they do VERY well. I love how local and homey this business feels. Their baked goods are all amazing and I will continue supporting them whenever I am in Manlius. Highly recommend Salt City Bread! You will not regret it.
