I came here during Easter weekend for a family dinner. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside. I ordered the birria tacos for the first time there and grabbed a strawberry garden fizz mocktail. The food was okay but the service was excellent. Sitting out front was nice because most children that were there dining had space to get up and skip around. This place is good if you're in the area and need quick service but want to sit down and eat.

The service brought the score lower. We sat outside and everything took forever, not to mention the server said 'sorry', because items were late, every time. The fish taco was not good, I wouldn't order that again. My hubs liked his burger, and the fries were good. This place is a party on event days. More fellas should come out for the single ladies.

Came on Mother's Day share some apps with my daughter. All of the staff members were very nice and helpful. The food was good. Next time I'll try some entrees.

The Beer Baron was turned into a tropical holiday. The decorations were all throughout the restaurant and upstairs, with a red Santa chair for photo ops. I had the Frost Bite cocktail for $18 the beverage consisted of tequila, sage, pineapple, lime, cranberry syrup, and spiced cranberry bitters. It was delicious. My friend had the frozen cocktail; the Coco Ho HoHo that's $18 and the ingredients are gold Jamaican rum, lime, coconut, pineapple, pandan syrup, and banana liqueur. My friend said it was the best. Our appetizers were french fries and short rib birria tacos. The fries were crunchy and tasty, and the birria short rib meat in the taco was full of fat and took away from the flavor profile. Our server was kind, friendly, and attentive. The holiday pop-up will last into the beginning of January.

Visited here today and had terrible service from Jassiel. Her demeanor was of someone who either didn't want to be there or could care less about her job. She was not helpful at all and ignored requests. Jassiel also was very short with her answers to questions. The food was good but soured by the unpleasant waitress. Lastly, the dessert was brought out with the entrees. She didn't even bother to ask if we wanted it brought out later. She didn't care and everything was a bother to her. Very disappointing.

Located in downtown Pleasanton, Beer Baron is ready for this fall season! I came in late October and the whole bar and restaurant was decked out in Halloween decor - so festive and fun! You can make a reservation in advance if you'd like. On a Saturday at 11:30 am we were able to get seated right away with plenty of tables open. They also have outdoor dining. They have fun seasonal cocktails that are worth a try! On the weekends they serve brunch. I ordered the cinnamon French toast with hash browns (you can also sub for country potatoes or side salad) and eggs however way you like them. I didn't know, but they also come with bacon - pleasant surprise! The portion is hefty and I was surprised to see so many parts. The French toast has a beautiful cinnamon crust and is fluffy on the inside. Drizzled with some chocolate syrup and served with blueberries and strawberries, it was a delightful sweet treat without being overly sweet. The hashbrowns came out in like a triangular form. I wasn't expecting these kinds of hashbrowns but they did not disappoint - they were like tater tots and were crispy on the outside. Eggs were perfectly over easy and the bacon was crispy. The only note I would make was that food service was on the slower side. Service was attentive and our water was filled multiple times. Food and drinks felt like it took quite a while. Thankfully we chatted up a storm to pass time and were happy with the quality of food. Brunch was delicious and I would definitely return!

After attending the Great Junk Haul at the fairgrounds, we were starving from working up an appetite shopping....we saw the menu on their website and knew we had to try. This rating really bounces between 3 and 4 stars, would give 3.5 if I could. Here's why: what their website doesn't tell you is that while they offer their brunch menu on Sundays until 2pm (!!!) its the only menu they offer, they don't run their lunch menu in conjuction. We got here after 12:30 so assumed we could get lunch, we didn't want brunch. The chef was kind enough to allow orders off the regular menu, and thank goodness because the food was good. Sadly it all came out at different times to our party of 4, 2 of our table were halfway done eating before the other 2 entrees came. The garlic cheese curds are a must. Small plate so get more than 1 if you have a few people together. The chicken wings are sauced but don't come out sloppy on sauce, its almost dry which is interesting. The French dip was phenomenal but was missing the horseradish sauce or just didnt have a kick, the au jus was a lifesaver. The chipotle chicken sandwich also didnt have a big chipotle flavor. There was no comment on the chilaquilles order so not sure if good or bad. The place was all decked out for Christmas. Ornaments hanging from the ceiling covering almost every inch. This was a fun vibe but downside was also the musty/moldy smell in the booths near the stairway that leads upstairs.

Pretty cool spot. Very popular and if you're a fan of Halloween, then this is a cool place to visit for some food and drink. I really liked the vibe here and the staff was great, but for whatever reason our drinks didn't print, so it took awhile for that to happen in terms of actually getting the drinks. Food portions are HUGE. This is the food portions for giants, so just be aware of that. Overall, pretty good and cool spot.

After spending most of the day in San Ramon with family, we almost missed out on dinner. So we quickly looked at what was still open at this hour and we found Beer Baron Bar & Kitchen. Street parking only. Ambience: Popular and crowded place. Modern decor and festivly decorated for Halloween. One big LCD TV with a sports channel.Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating available and also you can cozy up and grab a seat at the bar. Tonight was DJ Weekend, 10pm - 1am. Two separate multi-user men and women restrooms. Service: Table service was so friendly and attentive! He was helpful in recommending some of his favorites and also asking what we were in the mood for. We took a long time to decide but both of the servers were friendly and made sure we were helped. Food: El Cubana (4/5) with Belgian Duck Fat Fries (4/5): Toasted ciabatta, roasted pork, ham, Monterey jack cheese, pickles, mustard, pepperoncinis. The fries came with your choice of two sauces. I chose the smokey ketchup and the server recommended the chipotle bbq. He also included their house ranch. All the sauces were good! The ciabatta bread was toasted and had that nice crunch. I liked the roasted pork as some other versions use a "pulled pork" style. Loaded Nachos: cheese, guacamole, crema, pinto beans, pickled jalapeño, pico de gallo. Add $6 for chicken adobo (4/5). This easily can feed 2 or more people! The food was great and the ambience was chill. We'll be back! Support your local business!

Came for the Halloween pop up bar. Really cool experience. The decoration and the special glasses were really cool. Posting a couple pictures of those. The drinks in them were decent. The Headless Horseman was the best. We didn't love the Slasherita nor the Chucky Hot Toddy (that's not the actual name - I can't recall it). They were out of one of the two shots, but the Potion #13 was great. Price was decent. About $120 plus tip for 8 drinks, so that's about $15 each. Honestly not bad for a bar in the Bay Area - especially a cool, themed one. Our server was nice, though they were slow on the drinks even though it wasn't super busy. Also really cool that you're supposed to have reservations for the pop up, but they seated us even without them.

Great bar food options Monday happy hour 3-5 20 percent off on cocktails and food! We got here at 4:45 and our party was seated within 5 mins and food was brought out in less than ten mins! The servers are super efficient. Ambiance is typical bar like but this is the perfect downtown location with street parking for team happy hours. It could take a few mins to find parking so you might have to circle around a bit! Food - fried, but expected! Taking a star away because the food felt too fried and it could be made healthier Price - team of 10 paid $330 and we all ordered mocktails I'll try the salads and the mains next time

This is one of my favorite places in Pleasanton to grab a beer or an old fashioned! You're able to taste their tap beers before committing to a glass. I felt like I had to add this in my review because I recently went to a taproom that did not offer samples which was my first time experiencing that. SO THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO CHECK OUT THEIR BEERS ON TAP. You can park on the street or at the public parking areas. It's an easy and nice walk from all available public parking areas. We love sitting outside, their tables outside are mostly in shaded areas. The inside of the establishment is dimmed (not too bright). The service is great here, I've been here a few times before my current visit. Our server checked up on us regularly and when she went on break, she informed us that we can ask any of her colleagues serving at tables near us for assistance while she was on break. BELGIAN STYLE DUCK FAT FRIES - Cooked to perfection - Fries had a nice light crisp on the outside but when you bite into the fry, it's so fluffy and delicious! - We chose 2 sauces for our fries: Garlic Aioli & Smokey Ketchup, they paired well with the fries - Fries fried in duck fat is so so gooooood, I'm so happy that this establishment has this on their menu DRINKS (I forgot what beer my boyfriend drank but I do remember my drink)... OLD FASHIONED! OLD FASHIONED - They use Michter's Single Barrel Rye - I love how they use Maple Syrup instead of simple syrup - Not too sweet, it was just right (at least for me) 5 Stars for service, delicious food, beer/whisky selection and indoor/outdoor seating options

I've been to Beer Baron before with nothing noteworthy to report other than being one of the area's few places to grab a drink with friends. But this specific review is for their Christmas pop up: beyond impressive decor, fun themed cocktails (with purchasable cups), and their pecan pie- which is easily the best pecan pie I've ever had. If you haven't been before, or even if you have, I would definitely recommend stopping by over the holidays.

    What's the parking situation like?

Do they ever play jazz here?

Yes, they do play jazz, rock, covers on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I ordered the Sessions Burger, and it was lowkey one of the best burger's I've had in a while. I love blue cheese on a burger, and the caramelized onions had a deep, rich flavor. I also liked that it wasn't obnoxiously large for no reason. The fries were perfect, and the ranch was excellent. Honestly, ranch is a good way to judge a place like this, and theirs was rich and smooth. Also really enjoyed the beer I chose. Pouring it yourself is a fun experience, I could spend all day trying different beers. Great spot. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in town again. The hostess was really kind to explain to us how their restaurant works in terms of the self serve beer as you pay at that front beforehand. Whereas, food items and cocktail drinks are ordered at the back left corner. We ordered the "Such a Gemini" and "Paper cut". Both were more on the sweeter side and you couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Quite dangerous really. The "Such a Gemini" was a hibiscus agave drink. The "Paper cut" was more of a fruity mix with the elderflower and lemon mixed in the whiskey, which I was a HUGE fan of. Gorgeous presentation as well! As for the food, we got the Sessions burger (cheeseburger) and cod tacos both with truffle fries. And maaan. Cod tacos were cooked well and super fresh. Big fan of that red salsa on the side. The Sessions burger was juicy and not dry, but I really enjoyed how it served on a pillowy pretzel bun! Would love to bring my family and friends here! I'd recommend this place if you need a space to hangout at.
