Gil is such a honest business man and a good human being! I called him to talk about changing the locks on my RV storage compartments as I had heard rumors that anyone could open my lock if they had the same coach- he met me at my storage lot to take look for me and told me that in all honesty I should be fine and he didn't want to take my money unnecessarily. I was looking for someone to come out and re key 7 locks on a rental unit. I hired Gilbert to install a digital deadbolt on my hallway door. I called him 3 hours before I want the job done and he showed up on time 3 hours after the first quote. His fare was not the cheapest, but he finished the job in great details. After finish the installation, we basically do not need touch up painting on the door. The holes he drilled was just fine to install the deadbolt. One thing I'd like Gilbert to think about is giving discount to new customers. He said he would offer some discount to 2nd time customer. However, to spend $200 including material and labor is still expensive. But, I did look around, his fare is in the reasonable range. I like his job and will hire him again. This morning, Saturday, 06/30/2020, I stupidly locked my garage door after leaving my car inside. Problem, you say? I don't have a key for that lock. I checked on some sites and called Gil and asked for his help. He was on his way to a job nearby but assured me that he would be there in a couple of hours. When he arrived, he asked a lot of questions, immediately did his magic and in about 5 minutes put in a new lock that would work with our existing keys. Wonderful. I was more impressed with Gil's next actions. Think of how many times a consumer says, "Do you have time to look at something else?" I had trouble with the dead bolts of both house doors.
