I usually see the beets and eggs at another vendor and this gave me a chance to sample them before I bought any. The hubster had the roast beef and gravy with mashed potatoes and he licked his plate clean. There was a bright, red looking condiment on the table. I sampled it because I was curious. I was even more pleased to learn that they had mint jelly to go along with the lamb chops. I was thoroughly pleased with my lunch choice. My daughter chose the Sour Beef and Dumplings for $15.99. She was really thrilled when her lunch arrived to see 3 large dumplings on the plate. She said her lunch was scrumptious. The service and food at Ashland are always top notch.

I regret not taking any photos. But our end of the table started off with the Gooey Goose Bread and I'm still dreaming about how good it was. It's a tear and share that kind of mimics Monkey Bread and melts in your mouth. It's got a maple salted caramel sauce that's to die for!
