We love Gina Maria's. Their pizzas are excellent.we also enjoy the cheese bread and wings. It is so convenient to order on line and to have them deliver. The delivery people are great. We order pizza from them often when the grandkids are here and we also enjoy a good pizza in a night we don't want to cook. We are fans of every Gina Maria's location, however, the Chanhassen location is at the top of our list. The staff is friendly, the service is first class and the pizza is second to none in Minnesota. Crew there is very friendly and funny. We got their standard pizza which is a very thick and chewy crust. I found out later they have a thin crust. I'm not a big fan of the thick crust so wasn't my cup Of tea. But... A ton of cheese - they sure do not skimp in that area. I got one sausage and one pepperoni. Pepperoni was ample but the sausage seemed light. They also offer a gluten free crust. I plan to try the GF crust on my next visit. read more

The "New York" style crust is way too thick. Delivery drivers don't bring napkins, red pepper flakes or Parmesan packets. Requested well done, but that was ignored. Just kind of bland pizza. For $20 per pie, you kind of expect something a little better better than dominos or papa John's but don't bother that. Crust is thick and pizza is kind of bland overall. Not a lot of sausage on the pizza. A lot of cheese(not a complaint). Got the lunch deal 1 big piece of pizza split in two for $7. Pizza wasn't hot. I ordered a pizza. I've ordered before but it had been awhile. The guy said it would take an hour for delivery. An hour and a half later there was no pizza. I called and was put on hold. After 5 minutes on hold the fella told me his check on it. Few minutes later he came back on the line to say he's having a driver on his way now. 35 minutes later the pizza arrived. To my surprise it was warm. I still paid full price. In total it was 2 hours from when I ordered to the time I got the pizza. Now I remember why I stopped ordering Gina Marie's Pizza. As Pizza in Minnesota goes, I would put this up there with the tops, and even nationwide top 10. ( I have had pizza in over 30 cities worldwide and now that I found yelp I will share what I know and will not share what I do not remember... Oh how I long for the pizza I had in Buffalo NY, just don't remember the name of the pizza joint!!!) So Back to Gina Maria's - I like everything on my pizza, I think anyone can make one topping pizza sing - ie pepperoni, to make 4 work well is like what it take to have a good band, a lot harder to get proportions right and what not, and then to load a pie up like they can on their super pie and still be able to taste each and every ingredient means they are doing something very right. The ingredients seem high quality and in probably over 100 pizzas from this shop for my family and friends I have had to turn 1 away - I think they messed up the delivery, wrong toppings and over cooked - had it not been over cooked we could have lived with the toppings, it was pizza after all! When I called they offered to bring out a new one or give me a credit on the next order - we opted for the credit, (we had ordered too much already and everyone was already full) When I made the next order, they made sure I got a free Large pizza - yeah I will be back again and I promise to share my other favorite pizza joints in the twin cities and beyond! read more

I usually love this place....not sure what happened tonight. Jeannine ordered a pizza for delivery to her work to bring home. It took 1 hr and 25 min to get the pizza. It was cold and made wrong....wondering if we have the right order because it was coated with black and green olives. I can understand if Jeannine's work was a long ways from the business but it's 2 blocks away. I'm really surprised and usually have good service so I hope this isn't a sign of changes the business may be going through. read more

One bite, everyone knows the rules. Have been looking for a good thin crust in the Eden Prairie/ Chan area, and finally found it. Got the thin crust with Italian sausage 8.7/10 sauce was great, Italian sausage was perfection, very generous amount of cheese, could have been a cooked just one or two minutes more to ensure the whole crust was not floppy but a minor complaint, will try to tell them to cook it to crisp next time, relieved to have a good spot nearby. read more

This is one of my favorite pizza places in the area. The prices are a little higher than a Dominos or Pizza Hut, but the quality is much better and it's usually not hard to find coupons. I'm particularly a fan of their slices at lunch... a large pizza slice (more like 2 slices) and a can of pop for $5. read more

We moved here from Chicagoland and I've really been missing good pizza. I tried different places based on the recommendations of locals and all were misses. Gina Maria's is the closest thing that I've found to the pizza I love and crave from Chicagoland. The pizzas are good and topped well. All of our pizzas have had generous amounts of cheese on them. The crust is heavy enough to support the toppings. It's not ultra thin and not thick. Somewhere in the middle. The staff has been friendly every time I've been in there. My orders have had a quick turnaround time. This is not a dine in establishment. It's a place where you order to go. I only wish that they made larger-sized pizzas. Their 'large' is only 14". I'd like larger options for 16" or 18" to feed my family and have some left overs for the next day. Seriously, these guys have good pizza! read more

I really like their pizza. They used have a GREAT lunch deal, a slice and a soda for $5 now it's like $7. You can get an entire pizza from a couple of the close by chains for that price. So don't do lunch there anymore. read more

Many people seem to love this pizza; or, perhaps, what they really love is the excellent price for the lunch special. When it's cheap, people seem to enjoy things that aren't actually very good. The cheese bread is good. The pizzas have a plentiful portion of cheese. The toppings are good quality. But the crust is very poorly done. The thin crust is not thin, being that it is a rather soft 1/4" thick slab of poorly flavored bread. And the deep dish is inexcusable, as it's not deep dish at all! It is a double layer of the regular (not-really-thin) crust, cut larger than the pan, so that the excess wraps up the sides of the pan to give the appearance of a deep dish pizza. What makes this so especially horrid is that the top layer of crust does not get cooked. You get the displeasure of eating a layer of chewy, uncooked, glutinous dough, sandwiched between the lower crust and the sauce. read more

There are 4 locations I know of. The Minnetonka location always produces the best pizza. They get it right every time. However, the Chanhassen location screws it up more often than not. They burned my last deep dish, the cheese was unevenly distributed and the crust was clearly burned. It's inconceivable how they let my last pie out the door. Clearly there's no QA. I live in Victoria so Chanhassen is closest. I usually drive the extra miles to get a better product at Minnetonka but last Saturday I was lazy and ordered from the Chanhassen location. I'm soooo pissed off that I will NEVER go back to Gina Maria's Chanhassen again. So, my point is go to Gina Maria's at Minnetonka or Eden prairie but stay away from the Chanhassen location. The product the Chanhassen location produces sucks and is an embarrassment to the franchise. Oh, and if you have a coupon the people taking your order are rude at Chanhassen. read more

Ordered at 5:30pm, was told delivery would be an hour or less. It's now 7:05 and still no pizza. I have called twice in the last 15 min and I'm told "he's on his way." I understand it can get busy on a Friday but try to set reasonable expectations for your customers. read more

They have great pizza if you go there for lunch. It's basically 2 slices and a can of soda for $5.50. The pizzas that I get for delivery or carry out usually seem to have a bit too much sauce on them, but it's still good pizza. read more

This establishment has the worst customer service. On Halloween I pre ordered pizzas to be picked up in the afternoon. My husband picked up the pizzas and brought them home where we were hosting friends. I opened the pizzas and one didn't have any cheese, only sauce and mushrooms. I called Gina Maria's immediately. They manager that answered my call told me that he had been cutting pizzas for two hours and didn't see a pizza without cheese. He wanted proof. There was no sorry, no offer to deliver a new pizza. He said he would make a new one and to return the pizza that I claimed had no cheese. So, my husband went back and traded pizzas. The manager opened the returned pizza, looked at it while shaking his head and said, "insane". Then slid a new pizza on the counter and walked away. Still, no sorry. Nothing. We regularly ordered pizza from Gina Maria's, but I will never pay money for pizza from this place ever again. There are many competitors to choose from that actually offer decent customer service. read more
