The main place mall was once busy and thriving, but now unfortunately the entire mall has closed down, every place except "Gino & Joe's. That says a lot from a business when you're still open and making money after an entire mall fails. Their pizza is pretty good too. If you're enjoying a slice inside, there's a bunch of tables to sit at, just not a lot to look at. To to overcome all odds and still be running a successful business, that alone deserves four stars!

Almost like being in Italy :)

They make great NY style pizza. I especially love the Bruschetta pizza because it's light and fresh and garlicky! The crust is a good mix of chewy and crusty. Thankfully they have been able to stay open during covid times. They are still offering a huge choice of slices. If you're really hungry order a whole pie...you won't be disappointed.

Some of the best pizza you are going to find outside of New York City. And, to be fair, this place can compete with New York City's excellent pizza. Large slices, thin crust, fresh ingredients. The prices are fair. Great assortment.

Half... yes half of a steak sub. Not pretty but as flavorful as they come! Get yourself a fork.

Overview: I went back here for the first time in 10 years and was delighted it is still the hidden gem I remember! Ambiance: The seating area has plenty of space even though they still sometimes fill up due to popularity. The decor itself isn't much to look at. Food: Oh the food... I can only speak for the pizza and the steak subs since that's all I've ever had there but they are 10/10 fantastic. My last visit I got the steak sub and it is not a "neat-and-pretty" sub but that's part of the charm. Loaded with chopped peppers and onions with a touch of the special sauce on top and you've got yourself a real tasty handful. (The sub is pretty large and would recommend getting half). The pizza has great flavor, NY messy style (in a good way), with generous portion cuts. Overall the flavor is fantastic, but don't expect to dine here on a diet. Staff: The staff are great. They remember the regulars here and make everyone feel welcome which I would think to be difficult in the midst of all the orders they are working on. Parking: Street/lot parking, or take the Metro Rail.

Not familiar with this place before they joined up with Skip the Dishes. Good , so many varieties, wanna-slap-yo-mama so good garlic knots. Wonderful staff. I was waiting for an order that wasn't ready & was offered a slice on the house! This isn't your typical mall food court pizza. Plus, there's a really cute guy who works there who looks like my boyfriend when we were both 20. We sure look different now.

Too bad they only have a location at the Main Place Mall in downtown Buffalo NY. One bite everyone knows the rules!! NYC style pizza in Buffalo! Crispy crust , mild sauce, and a good amount of cheese. Ordered a slice of cheese and was not disappointed. Prices are very reasonable and the service is fast. They do a robust lunch hour and you better be prepared to order so your not holding up the long line.

My favorite pizza place downtown hands down. If you go around lunch time, there is always a huge assortment of slices to choose from. The BBQ chicken with tomatoes and onions with cheddar and Mozzarella is a fave of mine. The chicken finger pizza is a great staple. And they manage everything like an extremely well oiled machine so don't be scared of a line. There are subs and spaghetti options, however I never make it past the pizza. 2 slices is plenty to fill up a seriously hungry person. Love this place. Don't confuse it with the upstairs vendor... downstairs is the best!!!

All I can say is that this is my favorite pizza. Everything else pales in comparison. They get very busy for lunch so you have to go at the right time to beat the crowd. Service is fast and friendly.

BBQ chicken for $3.90, this is the upper food court location. Taste is consistent as I went and grabbed a slice after 5 years. A little pricy for a slice, looks clean and service is pretty good.

I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

I took my son there for lunch the other day, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who as it turns out, I knew from his previous restaurants stops. I hadn't seen him in about 15 years, but I recognized him instantly. Great service, polite and courteous staff, and delicious fresh food, are my initial reactions. I was surprised how good the San Franco pizza was! I also had a bowl of Pasta Fasola which was outstanding. I live in the city of Buffalo between Delaware and Elmwood and there are many pizza places around here, plus, I grew up on Bocce on Bailey pizza. However, the Forno Napoli pizza now ruins all others for me. I have never been to Italy, but I imagine this is what pizza is like there. Authentic and fresh. I'm taking all 3 of my kids back there tonight. Trying their salads and pasta as well. This place was very busy on a weekday at 4pm, so it is not a secret. It is also not cheap. It was actually my favorite part and I've never said that about any pizza! Atmosphere is extremely casual. There's fruit infused waters to have and you go and grab them yourself (back right corner). Once you order, there is a back dining room with several different size tables, but all with Bills chairs, which is a neat trend we loved seeing in this area, despite being from Florida. The man who greeted us was kind helpful and I was impressed with the pizza options. We ordered: - Buffalo Chicken: had a really good flavor & was my favorite! - BBQ Chicken: my son loved it - Margerhita: also had a good flavor - Pickle: the best we've had by far - Beef Pattie: looks like a Jamaican one but isn't spicy and had a very strange almost veal or lamb taste. Overall the flavors of the pizzas were really very good, but unfortunately every slice was so overcooked and burnt that it quickly overtook the great flavor of each bite. I'm a member of their rewards program and once in a while, they'll send me a coupon for $5 off, or a certain percentage off of my next order. So, when I get one of these rewards, I make sure to take advantage and order a pie! Shoutout to the staff as they're always friendly and courteous. I need to praise how open and honest they are, which was put on full display with a recent order. One Pie Pizza Co. bakes a truly authentic Buffalo-style pizza with an airy, doughy undercarriage, a balanced chewy, crispy crusty, plenty of mozzarella cheese and sweet red sauce with cup-n-char pepperoni, but I like my dough, the undercarriage, to be a bit more cooked, firm, crispy, so I've been requesting "extra crispy on the bottom/underneath" more recently. But the way One Pie Pizza Co. cooks their pizzas makes that request a little more difficult as they use a conveyor belt process, so when ordering online there are two "Special Instructions" options: LIGHT WELL DONE and WELL DONE (Dark, crispy crust with charred edges). I've been trying to figure out which of these options would offer the more firm, crispier dough I want, so I ended up talking to some of the staff working there and explained my conundrum. They were wonderful in hearing me out and suggesting how I should place my order to get what I am looking for. So, what's the way to get the dough more firm, crispy underneath? Order your pizza LIGHT WELL DONE and ask if they could put your pizza on top of the oven for 10 minutes before they put it into the oven to cook it! The dough might raise up a bit more, but it should help pre-heat, cook the dough a little bit more. Of course, nothing wrong with adding a note asking for extra crispy on the bottom, underneath. I've ordered a few times in 2026 and each time my order has been a QTR Sheet (six slice) cheese, pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers, and ricotta cheese pizza, LIGHT WELL DONE cook/extra crispy on the bottom, underneath. This is an excellent pizza, with tons of toppings on each slice and plenty of ricotta cheese ladled on top. Drizzle a little hot honey to add a little sweet kick. This pizza never fails to leave me happy and full. I will say, their pizza might be on the pricier end in Buffalo, but it's worth it. One Pie Pizza Co. certainly earned, and deserves its high marks and regards within the Buffalo pizza community! I'm glad to keep them in my list of go-to Buffalo pizza shops.
