Delicious! We wanted some NY Style pizza while we visited Buffalo and this was fantastic!

Stopped in to get some NY style pizza! Grabbed 2 slices Buffalo chicken wing and sausage pizza. The pizza was good but a little too greasy for me. Slices where nice and thin. My boyfriend ordered mild chicken wings. They were crunchy as in overcooked and on the smaller side. The staff was friendly and place was clean.

I love this place and have been going for years, they have the best deep dish Buffalo chicken pizza. You can get a slice or the whole pie. It's right by Buff state so its easy to get to. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other places. I can't really say of the other food is good because I usually just get the Buffalo chicken pizza, but I will try something else next time and update.

Checked out Joe's since it's a nearby pizza spot. Got the Pizza and 20 wings combo ($35.95). Didn't love the pizza as much as I would have liked, but I think it was just that the crust wasn't for me. Could have stood for more sauce on the pizza as well. I also ordered wings (Medium and Garlic Parm) which I did enjoy much more. Also ordered the garlic bread, but recommend passing on this if you are looking to add a side item. It was very underwhelming and was essentially a Hoagie sub buttered and garlic-ed.

One of my friends raved about Joe's pizza and practically comes here every chance she gets so I had to see for myself how good the pizza is in the restaurant. I remember ordering from here a few winters ago, and it was not that great but I'm willing to chalk it up to the travel time versus eating fresh out of the oven. I ordered a 16" half cheese and half beef pepperoni pie. I've never had beef pepperoni so this was interesting. There are plenty of booths and a long table in the center to accommodate large groups. It was warm in there with two ceiling fans running. It was definitely a different experience eating in than getting it delivered. I had the beef pepperoni while it was piping hot and it was so good! However, being born and raised in NYC I gotta say I know my NY style pizza and this was not it, especially after trying the plain cheese. The bottom of the pie has the familiar burnish look, the cheese was the right amount and oozing off the slice but the taste isn't quite the same, and the dough still a bit too thick - is it because I ordered a 16" and not the 18"? I'm not sure but the pizza I ate today did not have the usual floppy style of the NY style I know. So to summarize: try the beef pepperoni hot out of the oven in the restaurant it's good, but don't expect true NY style. Note: very oily compared to other pizza I've had and the bathroom was annoying: soap dispenser took forever to drop out soap and the sink is one of those you've to tap continuously not to mention only trickles of water come out so be warned.

Whenever I'm in the mood for some New York style pizza I always stop at Joe's. Really good pizza!

Joes is such an underrated pizza place. It is not anything fancy but it is just solid tasty pizza. It is my go to place for a perfect cheese pizza in Buffalo.

We were in town attending a large national conference for families affected by their condition, and many conference attendees were also staying at the hotel. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared to be about 80% empty. Our children mentioned to the waitress that they were hungry and tired, and the first response we received was, "Do you have a reservation?" She explained that they couldn't seat us because they were expecting a large party. Instead of being seated at a regular table, we were directed to the bar area, where the bartender kindly took care of us despite the fact that our group included two minors. We stayed for over an hour, and during that time, the large party never arrived. Meanwhile, we watched other guests without reservations get seated at tables without any apparent issue. The experience left us feeling singled out and, ultimately, discriminated against. Whether that was the intention or not, it reflected a disappointing lack of empathy and inclusion--especially considering that so many families with children with disabilities were staying at the hotel for the conference. I'm giving Bella Ciao three stars because the food was decent, the portions were generous, and the bartender provided good service. Unfortunately, the way we were treated upon arrival overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

I took my son there for lunch the other day, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who as it turns out, I knew from his previous restaurants stops. I hadn't seen him in about 15 years, but I recognized him instantly. Great service, polite and courteous staff, and delicious fresh food, are my initial reactions. I was surprised how good the San Franco pizza was! I also had a bowl of Pasta Fasola which was outstanding. I live in the city of Buffalo between Delaware and Elmwood and there are many pizza places around here, plus, I grew up on Bocce on Bailey pizza. However, the Forno Napoli pizza now ruins all others for me. I have never been to Italy, but I imagine this is what pizza is like there. Authentic and fresh. I'm taking all 3 of my kids back there tonight. Trying their salads and pasta as well. This place was very busy on a weekday at 4pm, so it is not a secret. It is also not cheap. It looked fantastic. But when I asked his rating, he gave it 6/10 stars. However, I wouldn't trust anyone who doesn't like cheese so take it with a grain of salt I was torn between the Bianca and Quattro pizza so I asked the kind man at the register for his suggestion; he said the Bianca is more popular so I went with that. I enjoyed my pizza, although I wouldn't order this one again. I do want to say that it is pricey but you will get a very big pie of great quality. The dough was excellent! It was actually my favorite part and I've never said that about any pizza! Atmosphere is extremely casual. There's fruit infused waters to have and you go and grab them yourself (back right corner). But you can order bottles of soda, alcohol, etc. Also in the back right corner are small pizza boxes for leftovers you can grab if needed. They let us sample a few wines before deciding on a bottle, which was a local Niagara wine and delicious! Started with the focaccia, Caesar, and mozz sticks by popular demand. Incredible! Somehow the mozz sticks are perfectly melted inside and not like that string cheese you brought for lunch, definitely a much try. The Caesar was MASSIVE and arguably one of the best I've ever had. We brought more than half home. For entrees we had the chicken piccata, gnocchi with cream sauce, chicken parm and spaghetti. Everything was incredible, oddly enough with the exception of the chicken parm! It was served in a large bowl with sauce so it wasn't able to retain any crispiness and my husband did find it to be a bit bland. However the pastas and piccata were incredible. I think the parm would be massively improved with differently plating! We had affogato for dessert and the brownie with ice cream followed by an espresso martini which were all divine. Service was fast and efficient, which they need for such a tiny place! All in all a great first time at Rizzos, with wonderful traditional Italian flavors and incredible service to match. Would have preferred a crispier parm but portions are huge and we literally left with 6 takeout boxes! Can't wait to visit again!
