Don't go here. The front register person was extremely rude for no reason. I asked her for a blue cheese, she sighed, and then she slammed it on the counter. Then she was so short with me and I was so confused where this was all coming from. She did this all in front of my son. I gave her that negative energy right back and she tried apologizing, then she started mumbling under her breath about me, while walking away to the bathroom. I've been to LA Pizza club many times back in the day, but this was thr first time I've had them in years and it was still pretty good. My fries were a bit cold, but nothing an air fryer couldn't fix. The fingers were good and there was a chicken soulvaki sub that was also pretty good. Prices are reasonable and portion size was great. I can't speak on the pizza because it's been years since I've had it, but I'll try that next time. read more

A few weeks ago I tried to order a Roast Beef sub. I was rudely told on the phone that they have not sold Roast Beef for over a year. When I mentioned that it was on the online menu, I was told they have not updated the menu. This week I called and ordered 3 chicken finger dinners. The lady who answers was rude again! The online price said $12.99. Before my order was delivered, I received a call that I gave the wrong credit card number. She was friendly for this call. I had her read it to me. Nope I gave the correct number, they entered it wrong. My bills was $80. I called to question and the price is actually $18.99. Bait and Switch? Why are they not updating the online menu? Its been a year! Also, all 3 of us had stomach issues for 2 days after eating the chicken finger dinners. We wanted a pizza and had a coupon for 1/2 off of a large one topping pizza. We ordered a cheese and onion pizza. We were told it would be ready for pick up in 25 minutes. It was ready right on time. While I could see the onions, I did not really get the taste of them. I did enjoy the pizza, but I was a little disappointed that I could not taste more of the onions. read more

L.A. Pizza is actually pretty awful. But Buffalo Pizza is awesome. So ignore the name and try it, and compare to some of the best slices in town, such as Imperial, Bella, Franco's, Molinara's, and Good Guys. La Pizza is somewhere between 3 star and 4 star pizza. A little old and congealed on the slices sometimes, which I've heard other people complain about too. But it still tasted pretty good, and certainly hit the spot. And the guy serving me the slices is always super friendly and nice. There's nowhere to sit in here, so you'll be getting your slice to go. Try Zip's and Daddio's down the road too. I'll give it a 4 for being friendly and not bad. But a word to the wise: they need to warm up their slices for their customers. They taste way better that way, than out of a warmer and therefore lukewarm. Not that Luke is particularly warm. I used to hang out at this pizzeria when I was a teenager. They have amazing pizza & great pizza subs. You'll want to order take out or delivery,because the place is too small & claustrophobic.Its very busy,the food is great,a little pricey & not easy enough to sit down & eat there. The restrooms are way too small also. Very uncomfortable. But,if u want good Za or fingers & other things on the menu,have it delivered or order "take- out". You will be satisfied. So..tonight. Called La Pizza Club tonight for a pickup order. Always loved their pizza and service. Picked up the pizza, get home. Burnt on the bottom, pepperoni looks completely different than what they've had for 10 years..overall tasted horrible. Called them. Girl answers, very nice. I explain pizza was burned, no biggie. Just credit me. No biggie. She apologizes, takes my number and says she will just leave an in store credit. I say thank you, hang up. Three minutes later, manager calls and demands ( GET THIS!!!!) that he be able to deliver a new pizza, take back what we didn't eat, and refund only the amount of money for un- eaten pizza. So..I explain.."Listen, no biggie. The pizza is burned, its Sunday. We are going to bed soon, just credit us". Response??? Manager in an angry voice "Well I'm not just gonna give you a whole pizza for free!!! I can MAYBE give you ten bucks off but you still need to get the delivery tonight." My response? "CLICK". DONE. You will NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN. BTW..I have a sneaking suspicion owner/management has changed because this is NOT the pizza I always loved. They make a nice pizza with a soft yet crisp crust. Their pizza varieties are really great combinations of toppings, so get one of those if they appeal to you. I've also had their potato skins and pizza logs which are on par with any high quality pizza place in buffalo, definitely better than many in the city. Their subs are amazing. Seriously, I wish I took a picture but I was hungry. Every single time they nail the order - extra tomatoes, light onions, ? No problem. My family gave La Pizza a shot after our former go-to started going downhill. Damn, what took us so long?! It's our third time ordering from them now and not a single disappointment. Had a Mexican pizza, Yep it was very good. We lived in N.Buffalo some time ago and ordered here often, and the food was always good. We live in Grand Island now, but I wanted to try the pizza again, so I drove in to get one and it was worth the drive. They were nice enough to put the tomatoes and lettuce on the side, so we could warm it up when we got home. We ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza and 10 hot wings and 10 barbecue wings. It came to $35 when we picked up the order. We tipped them $4. Took it home and the verdict was unanimous: pizza is sub par (lacking a tomato base) and the wings (rubbery and soggy)are too. We tried this place because our usual place, Kenmore Francos, has been unreliable and inconsistent over the past year or two. We won't be going to either establishment any time soon. In fact, we're going to abstain from pizza and wings unless we cook them ourselves - More trouble, but good. read more

This was one summer. I moved from the Bronx. I was trying to get ice cream next door. Parking sucked. I was with my girl she wanted ice cream. We found parking and it was in front of this place. I went in to ask the person the car is sticking out by like 2 inches in its driveway. Plenty of room for cars to get out I was just being courteous . It was an elderly guy and don't know if he was the owner but he was rude up front. He said " If I get out I'm hit the car". I was like I'm literally getting ice cream and leaving. He then said "Do you speak English?" I was shocked. I never faced discrimination like that before. I grew up in the Bronx but I guess we was all minorities there but it still bothers me till this day. It was not needed. I speak perfect english I was born here. Racists don't need to be in business. Screw that place. I stormed out cause I'm not a confrontational person. Never got the ice cream. Moved out the area. read more

My quest for good Buffalo pizza continued last night as I decided to order from La Pizza Club. Despite living off of Hertel for almost a year now, I have never tried any of the pizza around here. I had a really good parking spot on my street, so I didn't want to drive, and I didn't want to pay for delivery. So lo and behold, I picked La Pizza Club because I could walk there. I called the number to place an order. As I've mentioned in my Lovejoy Pizza review, I hate slices, and would much rather order a freshly made personal sized pizza. I saw that La Pizza Club had a Mini 7" pizza, so when I called, I decided to order a Cheese and Pepperoni mini pizza. The guy on the phone informed me that it was more worth my money to get three slices instead. I asked him how fresh they were and he said "they just came out". I was faced with a real dilemma, but I decided to go for it. I told them I'd be there to pick them up shortly. When I arrived, the guy informed me that he threw a 4th piece in there as well (maybe they wanted to get rid of it?) I'm not really complaining because for just over $6, I got 4 slices of pizza. Not bad! The pizza was just OK though. I took them home, which may not have helped, because they weren't that fresh tasting. They had a perfect amount of cheese (not over the top, but just enough) but I wanted more sauce and less dough. I ate two slices and have the next two saved for today, but I just wasn't wow'd. read more

Great owner. Cheese pizza is the bomb. Great and fast service. Clean place. Some seating inside and out. Great location.

Just had another Chicken Finger sub for lunch and this really is one of the better ones I have had in town. Still nice and crispy fingers, actually providing a little crunch to the sub. Plus they are beefy fingers, which makes for a stacked sub. I would have said Jim's Steakout was THE place to get one for out of towners to try, but they are over $10 after tax, this is just over $8. At same price this sub wins; but being even cheaper its hands down better. Also upped it a star as I had their Pizza and Wings Monday night before trick or treating at Sister in Laws. The wings were excellent, done in proper Buffalo style. Pizza is perfectly Buffalo too, medium dough, heavy cheese and slighty browned edges on thick pepperoni. Delicious. This is what a Buffalo Pizza place is all about. No wonder they have been in business over 35 years. Good Job guys. read more

Really good pizza, you shouldn't be disappointed if you eat here. The only thing is that the pizzas are pretty oily/greasy/messy. Ask them to "drain" or "deck" the pizza while it's cooking so that the water/oil can leak off and the bottom can crispy up a little more. read more

After years of this being my local pizza joint (and a four-star rating on yelp), we had the worst experience tonight. Food was far from ready, which is one of the few requirements for a good pizza place. This led to a discussion, and then an argument (I have hungry toddlers at home), and ultimately the owner telling me to get lost and giving me the finger...which I have a hard time excusing under any circumstance. There is one guy who has been working the front counter/phone for years (but not tonight) that is great (and probably single-handedly keeps this place in business): he UNDERSTANDS the customer. I don't know his name, but I will follow him wherever he goes next. In the mean time, we'll be heading to Milano's on Englewood. It's a favorite of my friend who was actually born/raised in the outskirts of Milan, Italy. Adds time to my pickup, but definitely worth it. read more
