    Tossed House Salad
    Dona F.

First time here. First off there's an amazing menu with anything you can think of. The pizza is amazing House salad was huge and had a fantastic variety of veggies with a house made balsamic. Shrimp parm was heavenly. Delicious red sauce. Took half home and devoured it immediately. Amazing even cold!! Chicken Marsala I had a taste of. Usually I don't go for brown sauces but this was not overpowering and the mushrooms were incredible Def going back without a doubt

Penne Alla Vodka and Garden salad with grilled chicken

The ambiance and atmosphere is very nice and classy looking. Although the penne was okay and tastes more like a tomato sauce rather than vodka sauce. Also the waiter was very sweet but they definitely should have more than one waiter during busy times. Would come back but would order something else

    Half Grandma's and Half G :)

So, I have been dying to try Gino's of Long Beach for FOREVER. (Yay for Instagram, right?!) And I have to take a second here to GUSH about their quality. We shared a square pie that was half Grandma's and half vodka/fresh mozz/ pepperoni/hot honey with dollops of ricotta. (This is called 'The G' and it comes highly recommended, which totally makes sense.) The pizza was deliciously authentic down to the seasoning, depth of flavor, and high caliber ingredients! The slices certainly 'hit the spot,' and I cannot wait to go back for more.

Various kinds of pizza all delicious! Highly recommended

Consistently great pizza. Numerous choices. Dine in or takeout and highly recommended.

Solid pizza spot. Had the special pizza pie and a caesar salad. Hubs also had a chicken roll. Food was ready when we got there and still piping hot when we got home. So. Many. Toppings. So. Much. Cheese. I can't complain. Very good.

There must be a table attendant doing rounds every so often. The dining room is pretty big and very attractive. I interacted with the guys making the pizza, they were a bunch of jokers who knew how to make their customers laugh and enjoy the moment. Engaging with one person, I was able to share my experience of Barrier Brewery, and he shared his as well. upon leaving one of the workers acquiesced with my decision to have a slice, split in half. That gesture was very kind. I had my fill with pizza for the night, so I did eat the slice that was split into 2 pieces` in order to provide a precise review. That ZA was delicious with a mild marinara sauce everyone enjoyed. I can eat this ZA without it affecting me and this was not a thin crust; it was a regular crust. Honestly speaking, this was an 'mmm' slice. When you bite into it, you go mm because it's that good. Now let's talk about the food, the tower of salad and cheese with prosciutto was well dressed. Tortelli soup hit the spot as a summer soup that included summer squash and zucchini. The server had an attitude the second he came over to us, it wasn't too busy just yet so unsure what his demeanor was about. He told us the specials and walked away. We ordered the fried calamari which came out in a timely manner. After that when we placed our entree order the server didn't come back to ask if we needed refills on anything. The entrees took a lot longer than expected. A table that came in 15 min after us got their food very fast. Once we got our entrees they were good, the food is consistently yummy here. But again our server did not come to see if we needed anything after the entrees were dropped at the table. I had the pasta with clams, it was good but lacked a flavor in the sauce. The calamari was great, crispy and flavorful. And the gnocchi bolognese was good as well, very ricotta leaning. Over all it was good but the waiter put a bad taste in one of my guests mouth which was disappointing. Overall I would give Gran paradiso another shot because they have good Italian but not rushing there due to the service.

Our waitress made us feel completely comfortable we were laughing, having side conversations, and genuinely enjoying ourselves all night. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The second lot leads closer to the waterfront entrance and can feel a little tight and snug when parking. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back. The nachos had a generous amount of crumbled sausage cheese and bruschetta as well as some spicy peppers. We really enjoyed the nachos. The Picasso was a nice size, but the sandwich lacked a little seasoning and needed a little more balsamic. It felt kind of dry. For cocktails we got the strawberry lemon drop, it tasted a little medicinal and the cucumber lime spritz type drink(I can't recall the exact name). This one was very good. An overall very mixed experience but I want to give it another shot even if only for the nachos
