We really enjoyed this restaurant! The staff is very friendly and when you're there they make you feel like family. Food was good too. The fried calamari was cooked well and I loved the spicy sauce it came with. The best dishes we had were the shrimp Melissa and shrimp parm. Both excellent. This is our second visit to Baldoria. I ordered chicken Milanese, which is the pounded. Chicken breast with arugula salad on top. Generous portion, but lacked flavor certainly not as good as the one at the GROTTA. Ordered the Italian cheesecake for dessert... nothing spectacular. The service is very good. We had an excellent waiter. I just think the food, lacks flavor, nothing creative about it. My wife, son, daughter, son in law and granddaughter celebrated a birthday and an anniversary last night at Baldoria. As always, the atmosphere is welcoming, the service friendly and professional and the food was excellent! We had their chopped salad, octopus, fried calamari for appetizers, veal parmigiana, chicken sorrentina, swordfish and stuffed artichoke for dinner, canoli for dessert plus cappuccino and assorted wine and other drinks. Ron and I had a fabulous dinner last night at Baldoria. The food was delicious. The holiday decorations, done tastefully and beautifully by Sal's mom, Maureen, were warm and festive. The service was exemplary as usual. The entertainment provided by the great Joe Piano was wonderful. The cocktails, prepared by handsome Robbie were delightful. I rarely write about service because all I care about is the food but wow, this spot has great food AND you're treated like royalty. With such respect and care and attention to detail. And it doesn't feel forced or put-on. Our waiter Frank and his team of servers were so kind to us as we feasted on an incredible Caesar salad, baked clams (the must-get), creamy pesto gnocchi, and more. This is the LOUDEST restaurant I have ever been to. It was so loud we couldn't hear our waitress who was quite uninterested in making us feel welcome.
