Our daughter had her Birthday Party at Ginza. My Wife and I loved it, and she had a great time with her friends. The Karaoke system was pro grade with excellent sound quality. Karaoke rooms were clean and had very nice lighting. Staff was very friendly. Raul was our event coordinator, and did a wonderful job, plus very friendly and professional. Food service was spot on. My daughter and friends had plenty to eat. My only recommendation is for more desert options. We can't wait to return with those that couldn't make it to my daughter's event. read more

Stopped by here late night with a group of friends. They have an upstairs rooftop area, as well as the main level where all of the karaoke rooms are. You can reserve the private karaoke rooms for your group, or partake in karaoke publicly on the main level. Both levels have bars. I ended up ordering both cocktails and light bites while we were here. The drinks were just okay, and the same for the food. Apparently they have some sort of unlimited seafood boil special, but I'm not sure this is the place where I would want to try that. What starts out as great choices to choose from and an Option B menu where you can choose an all you can eat option for $56 bucks, turns into an average food experience and let down at best. I was pleasantly surprised by Ginza Lounge. I stumbled upon it while out for the Art All Night events. Upon entry, I heard a group singing Jazmine Sullivan and I knew this was my type of karaoke. The staff was really friendly from beginning to end and I truly appreciate that. I sat at the bar and ordered a tequila sunrise and chicken wings. The drink was decent and the wings were really tasty and I liked the sauce that came with it. I peeked into one of the private rooms and it was nice but I spent most of my time in the main area. The machine to pick a song wasn't user-friendly in my opinion because when I tried to add a song to the queue, it ended the song that was already playing. I wish there was someone to monitor the karaoke area because there were groups of people hogging the mics and skipping songs to get to theirs. OMG I enjoyed Ginza so much! I came here for a friend birthday and it was about 11 of us. I believe we went on a weekday.. or maybe it was a Sunday lol either way the place was not as packed- which we enjoyed. The ambiance is very chill and casual. The FOOD! We did the unlimited seafood package and y'all we had a time. There was so much food on the table. You would think unlimited food? Unlimited seafood boil... that might be trash. But NO.. it was SOOO GOOD. I actually enjoyed ALL of the dishes. Our entire group had no complaints. We also visited during happy hour so that was good. When my husband and I first arrived our group was sitting at the main bar. The group was booked for a private room. We decided to order drinks and food before moving into the room. The bar tender (young African American guy) was very rude. I asked if we could order drinks he told me give him a min. He wasn't doing ANYTHING! We waited a good 10 min before he asked us what he could get for us. We ordered beers and a couple of food items. When I asked him for a round of shots he rolled his eyes and laughed. I was unsure what that was about so I repeated myself and he said as soon as I get a card from you. It's just unfortunate that when you go out you may encounter unpleasant staff at the establishments that charge an automatic gratuity. I never have an issue tipping but something about an automatic tip after horrible service is crazy! Once we moved into the private room, the outside area remained pretty empty. We did have to return to the bar for what we wanted. Other locations I've been to like this offer a server for the room. They did not. The mic kept dying. I returned the mic a couple of times and had to speak to the same rude bar tender. Who told me I clearly didn't know how I the mic worked. Just ignorant. I was invited to Ginza by my son's godfather, who had been there several times before and recommended it. This review has been a long time coming since my visit was back on June 14, 2024. We parked on the street, and upon entry, we were carded and the men were patted down, while the security guard checked my purse. We headed straight to the rooftop to enjoy the scenery before heading to the bar to place our food and drink orders. When I tried to order food, the bartender informed me that they had stopped taking food orders but could make an exception depending on what I wanted. I ended up getting chicken wings and a coconut drink. Now, I love a strong drink, but this one tasted like straight rubbing alcohol - definitely not my cup of tea. The wings, though, were hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned, just how I like them. After eating, we went downstairs for some karaoke. We ordered drinks at the bar, and my friend picked a song for us to sing. Coincidentally, the girls who were singing when we got there knew my friend's bae, so it instantly felt like a party. When our song came up, they handed us mics and we started singing. But midway through the first chorus, the security guard came over and did something at the kiosk that cut off our song - and it seemed intentional. He claimed there had been issues with people not getting their turn, which is why he cut our song, even though there weren't many people in that area waiting for karaoke. Frustrated, my friend spoke to the bartender, who then called the manager over. Since it was loud, my friend was speaking up to explain the situation, but he wasn't being rude or aggressive. The manager came around to discuss the issue, and shortly after, the security guard who had cut off our song came over, but he walked up like he was ready for a confrontation, which escalated the situation. He made assumptions about my friend's behavior that weren't true and it only made things worse. At one point, my friend set his drink down on the bar, and it spilled a little, but it was clearly not intentional. He and his partner then stepped away to deescalate, but I stayed to understand why things escalated so quickly. The manager, who was white, claimed my friend was being rude and yelling, which wasn't the case. She also accused his friend of throwing a drink at the bartender, which wasn't true either. At this point, they were no longer in the establishment. The manager's dismissive attitude didn't help at all. She said that if we had an issue with fairness in karaoke, we should have booked a private room - as if that's the only way to receive basic respect. Suggesting we needed to pay extra just to be treated fairly? That's outrageous. I had already spent $32.50 on wings and a drink, not to mention the drinks we ordered downstairs that we didn't even finish because of how poorly the situation was handled. Since then, I've seen several TikToks about this place, which prompted me to finally share my experience. No one should be treated the way my friends were. I highly don't recommend Ginza - customer service matters, and they definitely fell short here. read more

I recently popped in to the Ginza Karaoke Lounge and while I was too early for karaoke I was just in time to enjoy a bubble tea from the cafe lounge on the 3rd floor. The cafe has an nice set up where you can order a variety of bubble tea and they even offer some options with alcohol too. The cafe also serves a variety of deserts to go along with your bubble tea! My friend and I visited here in August for their All-You-Can-Eat Seafood experience, and we had an amazing time! The food was fantastic--everything was fresh, flavorful, and served in a timely manner. We left thoroughly fed and satisfied. We walked in the security officer was such a gentleman. We headed upstairs to the main floor that has a big open space, bar and area for you to sing with friends and strangers. We were greeted by the bartender who was extremely well manner. We had the lychee shots that were premade but was too sweet for me. I headed upstairs to check out the rooftop and I was greeted by Christina another bartend and she gave me a wonderful tour of the rooftop. I mean the rooftop is great. We looked out at the view and people watched lol (telling them to come in and check out this beautiful spot). I told her I was going to come back with my coworkers to turn the rooftop up! My sister and I was able to sing some songs and sip our drinks (margaritas). The happy hour drinks ranges from 5.00-8.00 that's cocktails, shots and drinks. More people started coming in and it was like a big family reunion. I spoke with the owners ( I think they are sisters) they were really nice and beautiful! I was very eager to visit this place so I went with high expectations and was let down. The 3rd floor wasn't open because It was cold and It won't open until lat March/April. The bar area on the second floor is spacious and you can also do karaoke in that area rather than paying for a room if it's just you and a friend. I will say that the bartenders were very attentive but unfortunately the bartender we had just could not make the drinks I wanted. I asked for a side car with Makers Mark and what he gave me tasted like a margarita. He insisted that he made It the way it's supposed to. You guys can look at the pic I posted and let me know if your sidecars look like this. I asked him can he make me an Old Fashioned(my go-to cocktail), he makes It, but not with Makers Mark. I assumed he knew to make It with the type of Whiskey I asked for in the first drink but he did not. So on top of the drink being bad, there's a 20% gratuity on each check. That would be fine if the tabs were left open and closed at the end of the night. So Everytime I ordered something, It was 20% per order. To make matters worse, for some reason, they do not serve cups of water on the weekends so you're forced to buy bottle waters plus the gratuity. This is the most insane thing I've ever heard in an establishment. For food, we had truffle fries and calamari. The fries were good but half of the calamari tasted like It wasn't cooked all the way. Lastly, the karaoke selection sucked! I will say that there weren't many options when It came to looking for RnB and Hip Hop songs. They were missing a lot of artists and a lot of main stream songs. They should also have disinfected wipes so folks can wipe off the mics after each use.....we're still in the pandemic I was just totally turned off from this place and I won't be going back. We decided to have a couples karaoke night at Ginza with friends. We reserved a private room which was cool. Positives - 1) Bar staff was very friendly and the food was decent. 2) Reserving online was easy. Negatives - 1) It took forever for someone to answer my email about reserving an extra hour. 2) The manager told us we could go into the room 15 min. early but didn't say he was cutting our room time 15 min. short. 3) The songs were limited and the machine was difficult to navigate. What a great spot for a night out we had at Ginza! The food is really solid and we recommend the lamb skewers, which had great flavor. The yakisoba also went great as a start to the night with a first drink. Speaking of great, the cocktails were the star of the show. Maggie is a terrific bartender and provided great service during our visit. Supper knowledgeable and was able to whip up some of their speciality cocktails that met our taste. The space is nice, but save yourself. Its $60 an hour for a private room not including taxes, and they add on 20% gratuity. The food was okay but definitely not worth it. And you get 4oz drinks for $15 . Also make sure you order everything at one time because they charge your card every time you put in an order. Everything isnt offered on each day. Some mixed drinks are only offered on other days. Our waitstaff was great! The bathrooms were clean and the room was very clean. You could smell the cleaning products. Came for the open bar karaoke on the 2nd floor, left because there's no KJ and you just queue up songs yourself on an unintuitive system and it went exactly how well you would imagine karaoke would go if drunk people have to sign themselves up to sing and police themselves in a line. Put my song in and someone deleted it. People couldn't figure out the system and stopped my friend mid-song. Another grabbed a mic during my friends turn and started singing over her. Visited this spot last Friday for my best girlfriend surprise birthday. Upon arrival at 4:15 p.m., I entered the club and asked if I could wait in the private booked room. The staff stated the club doesn't open until 5 p.m.. I showed them the invite with the instructions of being allowed to enter the private room early because the birthday girl was arriving between 4:45 and 5 pm. This didn't matter, so I waited downstairs at the door. Ten minutes later, my girlfriend daughter arrived and told me to follow. We were let in without a problem. We were in VIP1, which was nicely sized, included two tables, bench, and stool seating with a large screen for Karakoe. You can bring your own cake and order food from the menu. The room was booked from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at $100 per hour for 29 guests. Food: We ordered baskets of wings, 20 for $40, fries $10, lamb skewer 4 for $16 - would not recommend, grilled jumbo shrimp - 4 for $15 - would not recommend and basket of fried shrimp - pretty good but forgot price. Drinks: The drinks were a 4 out of possible 10. Here's why: The cups are small, clear party city cups with 10 large ice cubes. These are tricks bartenders use to make you think it's a lot when really it's all ice. If the cups are 5ozs, trust me, you only have about 2.5ozs of drink. Here's the bad: EACH DRINK IS AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED 20% GRATUITY. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU TIP TWICE. Drinks are tasty but not great. Karoke: Please come with your music playlist. Some of the songs loaded, and some did not. The mics worked ok. The spot has multiple room options, parking is street parking, and next month, the roof top will be opened. Oh yeah, you are charged for a water bottle also. This place was rated two stars because of the overpriced and underwhelming drinks with 20% automatic gratuity. read more

When they delivered it, they told us in both English and Chinese that it was chicken and lambthe pork didn't come after 20 minutes, I asked them where it was. They told us it was delivered already, explaining the two that we had was pork and lamb, not chicken. So the worker that dropped it off misspoke and labeled it incorrectly to us.Their miscommunication is very telling and when I explained how it was spoken incorrectly, they just kind of stared at me, no apology or accountability. Maybe it's bc they're already going to be paid 20% tip regardless so they don't care or bother to be nice. Their fries were great though and I give that an extra star. Initially, my wife saw their advertisement at Han Palace in Tysons, and she really wanted to visit there for their karaoke. Finally, today is the day. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointed. The karaoke system there was very laggy, it felt like running on a CPU from 10 years ago. Also, the sound insulation in the karaoke room was really poor, we could literally hear what the room next to us was singing the whole time. The funniest thing was the frequency in our room also got mixed up with the other room; all the sudden, our music got cut off and we could only hear what the other room was singing. Last but no the least, the karaoke room was not very clean and smelled funky. BE AWARE, 20% service fee automatically adds to your bill, so please be cautious of double tipping. FYI, small karaoke room is $58/hr + $11.6 service fee +$5.8 tax = $75.4, ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT! read more

Awesome to have a karaoke lounge in Barracks Row! Affordable pricing and great technology setup for the karaoke rooms. Main detraction is the bar, the drink choices are very limited. Also, water isn't free! So when you're quenched for thirst after singing your heart out you still have to pay TEN DOLLARS for a pitcher of water! Understand the business ploy here but it feels completely unnecessary. We resorted to drinking only lemon drops, which while more expensive and way less liquid, at least felt justified for spending money on.
