They had a tv playing sports, but overall the place was pretty quiet. When we came it wasn't busy with dinning in, but the to go order section was extremely busy. I wish I could post no stars. I've been eating here since 2018 and I've never really liked it. It was enough as a sushi fix. My recent experience was the breaking point to post a review. Our order of vegetable tempura that came in a combo used deep fry batter instead of the regular tempura batter which was the only thing that was off. *Deleted my review, so I wrote a new and improved one* My household does "Family Fridays", and Ginza Sushi is one of our usual spots to go to when my family and I decide to go out for lunch/dinner. I don't believe many people know about this restaurant, considering it being surrounded by Filipinos, so not many would expect there to be a Japanese establishment within this vicinity. This is probably one of my favorite restaurants--for Japanese cuisine, especially. It's not the fanciest or biggest restaurant (if you're imagining something like Benihana or so), but their food makes up for it completely. Typically, it doesn't get too crowded around lunchtime, but come dinner time, most tables are filled. Never has it come to a point where there was a wait time for me, though. Since the workers know us, they're friendlier than usual and one specific worker (her name has slipped my mind, but she is one of the older servers) is always swapping stories and exchanging compliments with my family. The workers here are nice and attentive when it comes to answering questions on the menu, or asking for something specific. My family pretty much orders the exact same thing every single time we come here. The ten ingredient fried rice is simply delicious. A mix of everything--shrimp, broccoli, sausage, meat, the rest of the ingredients (haha!) I believe it's a must. Although the rice itself has plenty of meats and such, we still order the shogun chicken. It's similar to orange chicken in a sense, but it is sweeter and has a thicker, tastier sauce. If we don't do rice, we replace it for yakisoba. Also, my favorite roll here is the crunchy roll. Their crunchy shrimp roll is my favorite--and I've been to A LOT of sushi places. Last, but not least, their lunch specials are a great deal. For about $7, you can get their "Ginza special shrimp", which is a battered salt 'n pepper shrimp (shell/no shell) and it comes with rice, a salad, a chip, and sauces. It's a huge portion. For a huge party, or a huge appetite, I mentioned the Ginza boat/party boat in a tip. Basically, it either comes with a variety of sushi, chicken, and/or egg rolls and it is on a big boat.
