Let's start off by saying I rated this place 2 stars a few years ago. After going there for years, the service and food had become mediocre at best. The pizza was usually under cooked or completely wrong almost every time we ordered. Well, a couple of months back a friend said that there was a new owner so we decided to try it again. What a change! The people on the phone are actually competent and friendly. I've ordered a half dozen times in the last few months and every time my order was exactly how I wanted it. Large pepperoni, thin crust, well done. And that's what I get. So kudos to the new management and team members. They've restored my faith in the Gioninos brand. Keep up the good work. read more

This pizza place used to be a good place but it's terrible now I don't know if they've changed business owners or changed employees but I used to order from them all the time now I'm getting burnt pizza they never give me what I asked I asked for hot sauce all the time and they never give it to me I've asked for two piece chicken dinners meaning two separate two-piece chicken dinners and they had the audacity to confine my coleslaw like that was for myself and the co-worker we don't want to share coleslaws so the service sucks I've told them where to deliver it at and yet they continue to deliver it in the wrong place at my job and they just give it to anybody they don't wait for you to come and sign for it they are terrible now and I will never order food from them again read more

This place used to have decent pizza about 7 yrs ago but has just went downhill ever since. We were familiar with some of the people that worked there, but we have been ordering something about every 2-3 months to see if things were improving. This is under new management from the owners of the Medina store now. We were expecting that things would improve, but appears as the same old quality and attitudes. Not sure if they cleaned up the kitchen yet or not or decided to enforce better sanitary practices on the employees, but the pizza is still sad, sloppy, and under cooked most times and cold when you get it. Salads are hit or miss with ingredients from order to order. Pasta selection has been really cut down, but it is pretty blah anyway. Chicken, Jo Jos, and sub-sandwiches are decent though. If you are going to order from these people do your own math and add up everything you are ordering, and then ask what the total is prior to hanging up. ? We have had a few questionable bills ourselves but did not pursue as they were under $10. But there is a known issue of "funny money" at this location for several years and still may continue under the noses of the new management, even if on a lower scale. Service: It has never really been that stellar. When you do call in to order don't be surprised if you are put on hold. Don't be surprised when you get told order will be ready in 45 mins and then have to call back in at the hour and a half mark to find out where it is. Don't be surprised if they get a little snippy, as I saw first hand when I picked up several orders you might be cutting in to their time playing on their cell phones. Worst experience customer service experience. 1 large pepperoni pizza was supposed to be delivered in 1 hour. 3 hours later, 4 phone calls, no pizza. The second time I called at the hour and a half mark, was told it was out for delivery. Called 30 min later and was told they delivered it to the wrong house and it will be another 30-40 min. Called back the 4th time and was told they thought I didn't want the pizza and it would be another 30-40 min. Terrible customer service. read more

Ordered the Steak sand Cheese specialty pizza. Absolutely disgusting! They must have put an entire bottle of ranch sauce on the pizza. You could wring it out like a wet sponge. The steak was gristly, chewy and tough. Some pieces I had to spit out. Ate 1 slice then tossed the rest. Waste of money. Almost like they sabotaged the pizza purposely which brings up a whole other concern. Won't be back. read more

We order pretty frequently from this location and usually have terrible service, but the pizza is usually good. Today I got a large pizza that looked like it fell on the floor and was cut with 4 huge pieces and 2 small (barely even crust) piece. Also, our small pizza was completely burnt. read more

I rate Gianino's a BIG Zero. After numerous orders that were wrong or never showed up until I called back, I thought I would try one more time. Well, I was told 30 minutes but didn't arrive until more than an hour later. When order did arrive, pizza, chicken and JoJos were all cold. NEVER, NEVER again will I be ordering from Gianino's. I finally have learned my lesson. Next order will go to Romeos. read more

Gionino's is for ME-no's!! I used to eat Papa John's exclusively, but Gionino's is way better. It's my #1 go-to pizza spot now that I'm living in Wadsworth. It's a little pricey compared to other pizza places in the area, but it's totally worth it... read more

They usually have decent food, but the delivery times have been getting longer and longer. Today (11/20/17) I ordered a simple chicken dinner on a Tuesday night. I live 4 blocks away. Said it would be 45 to an hour, at a hour and a half I called to cancel my order, the girl handed me off to the manager, who made excuses, never apologized and then hung up on me. To bad, I kinda liked the place, but won't happen again. Tomorrow I will forbid my office admin from placing orders from there as well. GREAT CALL Gionino's! read more

Just order nearly $100 of food for my kids birthday party from GIONINO'S! Delivery over an hour and order was jacked!! Called store and was put on hold for 15 minutes for manager. Was told he would send rest of order in 45 more minutes. Nearly 1.5 hours have gone by and no food!! Called back and put on hold again! Manager very very rude and when I asked where my food was he said has not even left the store!! REALLY!!! When I asked if he was even planning on sending my food at all, he yelled that he would rather just void the sale than deal with me!!! Then he hung up!!! WOW!! Food overpriced and sub-par and service is non existent! Never deal with GIONINO'S if you have any expectations of being treated like a paying customer! Well, normally I would rate this place 5 stars - the fried chicken is great here. But this past Friday we ordered chicken and also the pasta bake. Now, understand, we have been dealing with at least 4 other Gionino's (Tallmadge, North Hill, Alliance, Lakemore) and NEVER had a problem until the other day - the pasta bake comes in a metal tin with a plastic lid...But some jerk who works there put a plastic lid upside down in the BOTTOM of the pan, then the pasta, sauce & meatballs on top, then they COOKED it that way. When we got it home, dished it out a little at a time etc - ate it, then when we got to the BOTTOM of the pan, here is a SHRUNK, plastic lid all MELTED in the bottom of the pan....We are not happy at all. Called and talked to the manager & at first they didn't seem to be very upset - this is how you can get cancer from pcb's etc - or what if a small child would have choked on it? He never seemed excited till I told him I was going to YELP it. NEVER going back to THIS store again. The best one is at Lakemore Plaza (Springfield). read more
