We hadn't been here before, but she has been waiting 25 years to come here. She has lived in Akron for all her life, and Kenmore for 10 of those. The bread was soggy, the ingredients were not quality whatsoever, it even looks like they cooked the sandwich with the lettuce on it. The pickles, the only thing free with this expensive meal, were soggy. We paid $41 for this meal for just utter disappointment. Not only that, but these are MAGA Trumpers, displayed everywhere, which is embarrassing in a town with such diversity as Kenmore has. Most of your customers are black, so this is just insulting.

A family owned business that's been around for over 40 years, Showcase Meats was built on word of mouth so clearly they're doing something right. Once inside you're greeted by classic Americana eats such as pizza, fried chicken, jo jo's, wings, a bakery case full of fresh pastries and more. Showcase also offers specialty pizzas, hot sandwiches as well as hot and cold subs made fresh to order. There are a few salad choices on the menu but I have to be honest, I'm not here to eat salad (please don't judge). Today I opted for a meatball sub and it was on point! What makes Showcase a such a jewel is cost, you can easily walk out of Showcase with a crazy good lunch for under $10, not too shabby!
