Gios cafe was amazing! No complaints here. We ordered the maple brown sugar latte, and the strawberry cold foam latte for drinks. The maple brown sugar latte was just what i was expecting, sweet, cinnamony, and strong! The strawberry cold foam latte was a lot less sweet meaning the coffee flavor really came through. Once the cold foam was mixed in there was a nice light strawberry flavor. For food we ordered the chocoflan, matis burrito, and an everything bagel. It feels rare to find a coffee shop that also sells amazing food but Gios has done it! The chocoflan was delicious and smooth. The burrito came with a chipotle sauce which was a nice surprise, together it was a delicious combo. The bagel was amazing, it came with a prepackaged side of cream cheese. It was not cut in half (which was okay) so i just ripped it up and dipped in the cream cheese. The bagel was so tasty and the outside was perfectly crunchy! Service was great as well, the owner was very attentive and friendly. She made conversation and she was so sweet! The cafe is very cute inside, lots of seating! They look to be a very new business but they are amazing! When we visit California again we will be back! read more

This lovely family owned cafe closes Sundays and Mon to Thurs at 2p. I walked in not knowing but luckily I was able to get an iced americano and some sweets to go. The pumpkin and blueberry muffins were amazing!! So soft, fluffy and perfect amount of sweetness. I love the somewhat crunchy muffin top and super soft bread The small fruit tart was also very delicious very similar to Porto's so I'm glad its nearby because now I don't have to drive far. I can't wait to try the other goodies. Loved the ambiance and staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have such an amazing story and started this business as a homage to honor the brother who passed away in 2023. I hope everyone discovers this place because it truly feels like getting coffee with family. Wishing them much success! read more

Nice little spot opening up in Lennox off Century. Got the Horchata latte and was pleasantly surprised! Most times horchata lattes at other spots taste like the easy mix stuff you get at the grocery story but this one was legit! Hope to come back soon and try more stuff. read more

It's always good to support local businesses. Gio's cafe is recently opened and a welcome addition to the Inglewood/Lennox neighborhood. The decor is just so warm and comforting. The employees were so nice and welcoming. Service was quick, we walked up, looked at the menu on the counter and ordered our drinks. About 3 minutes later we were enjoying our coffee. My wife also ordered a cheesecake which was very good. Now keep in mind if you come here when it's busy you may have to wait. The music is a bit loud and it seems like their AC doesn't work or they're choosing not to use it, so keep that in mind as it was warm inside. lol.. parking is plentiful in their own lot behind the store. You can't miss them, they have gorgeous mural on their east facing wall. Check their hours of operation because they do have a bit of a weird schedule on Friday's and weekends. They'll have all your favorites that we're all used to drinking but with a Oaxacan flair. Also they're woman owned and operated so you know we have to come support our female owners as much as others in the area.. hope to see many of you enjoying your coffee here. provecho!! read more

Mazapan latte with cold foam and Graham Cracker Latter were both underwhelming. Nowhere in the Mazapan latte did it taste like mazapan.. graham cracker tasted as if you put a tequila shot inside the coffee. Burrito was pure egg and tortilla you were lucky if you got a piece of bacon fat in there.. environment was SOOO CUTE and service was great! read more

Really disappointed at this spot. I usually stop by Asteroid Vinyl Café down the street for my caffeine fix whenever in the area but unfortunately learned today that they are re-working their permits and not offering coffee for a bit so I decided to try Gio's after looking up the nearest shop. Big mistake unfortunately. My best friend ran in and got two 12 oz drinks - and both tasted like MILK. I mean you can see the color. I don't know if their 12 oz lattes are single shot lattes but I could not taste the coffee AT ALL. To top it off my bestie said it was so hot in there and chaotic that she didn't even want to go back in and make it crazier by asking for a refund. Asteroid Vinyl Cafe was my go to coffee shop but unfortunately they stopped selling coffee so I was looking for a good coffee shop near me in Inglewood but all were a let down. Visited this place a week after opening. The service was AMAZING! the girls were so friendly and talkative and the owner was asking for feedback. We did order 3 coffees and food items. The food items were 5/5! We ordered the pesto and spicy burrito. Items are pre made so you can't modify. I will say I did enjoy the taste of the coffee it was just right. However, the strawberry foam wasn't as sweet as we would have liked it. I think they are still trying to find the ratio of milk to other ingredients. The music was loud enough and the place is super cute and clean. Parking can be a little small when they are having a rush. The only reason I did not give it the 5 stars is due to the wait time. It roughly took over 30 mins to get the drinks. So if you are looking to be in and out I would not recommend fully. They also have shirts for sale. I would go back but when I have nothing else scheduled just due to the wait time. read more

Gio's Cafe is incredible! I've been following the journey of its opening for a few months now. Currently, they are only doing pickups during certain hours, so this review is for their offerings so far. They already have a menu of their signature delicious drinks and they announced the hours on Instagram so I was able to place an order for pick up. I have to say, Gio's Cafe is the BEST place I've encountered for food accessibility! I typically only drink black coffee everywhere because most flavored coffees are not safe for me. So I was blown away that they had so many sugar free, dairy free, and gluten free options! I had a Sugar Free Vanilla Cold Foam Matcha with Unsweetened Almond Milk. I never thought I could safely drink a flavored coffee drink again and this made my day. I even asked the owner what inspired Gio's to prioritize this from day one and she basically said that she wants to make sure that her community sees all their different needs represented. I appreciate that sooo much!! I also met some of the Gio's team, which is a beloved group of Lennox locals who are putting their entire heart into this space. Nothing warms my heart more than a family business with so much soul. From following them on Instagram, I know a bit about the vision for the shop and it will be a magical place! I can't wait for it to fully open, so that we can all benefit from this amazing community space and delicious items. Meanwhile I'll continue to support them through the pickup orders. read more

So excited for this opening, but disappointed with our drinks. Ordered a Mazapan Latte and a Strawberry Foam Latte. I know it's a latte but I did not get any flavor from either drink. Way too much milk the color was off. The milk and ice got served, and she still had about 3 orders ahead of ours. By the time she got to our drinks ice was already melting into the milk. The only reason I tasted mazapan was because I used the straw and got a piece of it. The strawberry foam on my other drink was not as strong in color or flavor but again it tasted like just milk. The price did not reflect the quality or taste. They had one menu and it was at the register. So we only saw menu right before we ordered and I felt rushed to order. They charged once your drink is made. She was slow and only had 1 helper With that said. I know it's day ONE. We will be back in about 2 weeks to see if it has improved. I hope it does. Place looks cozy and nice. Does need some music to live it up a little. read more
