Giovanni's is awesome. We came here sort of late on Saturday night, not realizing that the buffet had just closed and the dining area would close in less than an hour. Oops. We sat, ordered a two-liter of soda, a bag of BBQ chips, and a large pizza with two toppings (it was some kind of deal). We didn't have to wait too long before the pizza arrived and managed to eat the entire thing with the exception of once slice, between the four of us. We all enjoyed it so much. So good. Their pizza is wonderful -- just the right mix of cheese and sauce and crust, with a generous but not overwhelming amount of extra toppings (if you desire). When I crave thin crust pizza, this is the kind of pizza I crave. It's similar to a lot of thin crust pizza I've had near Chicago. *drool* The staff is very nice, the restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating, the bathrooms are clean (whew!), and the buffet looked inviting (with several kind of pizza, pasta, and salad). I may have to come back another time to try the buffet and see how that goes. But until then, I know they've got scrumptious pizza. The location is a bit odd, in a strip mall with a tight parking lot in a residential area, but once you find it, you've found a gem. Giovanni's is also awesome because they recently raised $14k to help a local young mother with cancer. I don't know how they raised so much, but it's pretty amazing. Delicious food + fantastic community spirit = WIN.

This place is right around the corner from me. It's a great place for carry out. They have a good menu with plenty of variety. The pizza is good. It's owned by a veteran. It's a good go to when you need something quick. I need to try more things on the menu to give more stars

    Pepperoni sausage.... We're!!??? Ground up!

I'm sorry but I been hearing about how good it is so I gave it a try. nope! I asked for toppings not grounded up meat and veggies seriously it's like they grind it all first! the price very high for mediocre pizza at best. crust not good cheese wtf? word taste it was very skimpy taste not that great I just really can't say anything good other than the size! I'll stick with dominoes. they might not be authentic but they don't claim to be either! plus I pay way less for way better quality and flavor! My first time, my last time!

Food was great! However, we got there about 5:30 and there was no food on the buffet. When the food did arrive, we were happy with the quality and price of the food.

Absolutely adorable spot for Italian in Versailles!…read more I met up with some friend here for a girls dinner and luckily it was nice enough to be seated on the patio. We started with the arancini as well as the house bread that's served after you're seated- both super tasty. I'm not a huge pasta fan so I ordered a grilled romaine salad (that may be seasonal because I no longer see it on the menu). I added salmon and it was great! Our service was great and I definitely think Vallozzi's is worth the drive from Lexington!

Wow! What a great find in Versailles! We had planned to get to Rolling Oven pizza ( a family fave)…read morebut as fate would have it, they were super packed and it's too chilly to sit on the patio just yet. My wife points out Vallozzi's as we were walking back to the car, and we decided to try. We walked in and immediate love the vibe. The restaurant is gorgeous! And they were busy too. We walked up to see if we could get a table. She asked if we had a reservation and we didn't. She said they were totally booked. We were bummed but said thank you and agreed we'd come back when we did. As we were leaving, the hostess chased us down and asked if we still wanted to grab dinner, of course we said yes ...... and so began our dining journey with Vallozzis! Ashley as was our server and we took her recommendations on just about everything! The menu is varied with plenty of options. We started with the prosciutto plate and recommended wine - Teresa got the Angel Rose and I chose the Hall Chardonnay. Perfect. Our daughter had a Sprite, just to put that out there. Our daughter got the manicotti which looked fab! My wife got the Parma, and I got the special beef filet ravioli. Everything was prepared perfectly and we could not have been better service. Thanks Ashley! The ambiance is quite charming and you'll feel very comfortable being here! We needed to get dessert of course so we chose the banana tiramisu and got two of them to go! No disappointment at all. Really enjoyed our time and dining experience here and we'll definitely be back. There's too much on that fabulous menu to try, not yo come back and back and back. Check out Vallozzis! Make sure to get a reservation just to be safe. We will too!

This eatery was recommended by some friends as one of their favorites when visiting Lexington…read more Reservations were sold out all week and we happened to get one for tonight. Our waitress was lovely, very on the ball, prompt and friendly. You can tell the place fills up but with many different room-ets the body of people is broken up and maintains a more intimate feeling. We ordered the cornucopia from the Autumn menu which was fresh, well prepared and nicely seasoned. The majority of veggies were hot and the beets were chilled which was a nice contrast and the pistachio pesto underneath was a nice touch. Acorn squash was fab. Side salad was huge especially for $3.50 pricetag. Meatballs were nicely seasoned and tender. They had a little red pepper kick to finish. The cider chop was amazing! Thick pork chop, brined for 24 hours to make it tender and juicy. Paired classically with white beans, and a modern twist with fried onions and sautéed apples. This dish is a must. The disappointment of the evening was the chicken parm. It was soggy and the chicken was tough. It's a staple item that should be done well to bring people back, however, with such wonderful, non traditional items on the menu, venture to eat those instead!
