We spent all day at the pool and wanted to order in so the girls & I decided to order Sir Pizza. I had never heard of it but one of the girls who's from Winchester said that it was great. The pizza was delivered so fast and it was still hot!!!!! We ordered the "Royal Pizza" which is their house pizza. It was so so good! It's a special blend of pepperoni, onions, sausage, mushrooms, green & red peppers. I loved that it was cut into smaller pieces which was perfect for us. So glad I tried it and I'll definitely remember Sir's when I'm back in Lexington. read more

This KY Sir Pizza is as great as some that I've visited in NC-Asheboro and Randleman are my favorites. Something about the crunch on the square slices is just great but I loved the fact that this one had a little more bread than the NC thin crust versions. The sauce was great and the edges were nice and crispy, making a delicious combo. They delivered to the hotel but not the room so I met the driver in the lobby. Very nice and they accepted cash. Glad there was this option over some of the chain pizza restaurants. read more

Here's what I do know...you UNDERPAY and treat some of not all employees like shit. They are not slaves. You pay them worse than any restaurant business around! I used to live in Lexington for years, and Sir Pizza was my absolute favorite. I now live in Louisville, and sadly, there are no Sir Pizza locations here. Well today, I finally became so desperate for my favorite pizza that I drove a little over an hour from Louisville to Lexington just so I could have Sir Pizza for dinner tonight! (Sausage, mushroom, and extra cheese if you're curious lol.) I honestly have to say that it was EVEN BETTER than I had remembered! It puts chains like Pizza Hut and Papa John's to shame. Sir Pizza is truly an original, with unique tasting crust and sauce - even the toppings themselves are more flavorful, and they are piled high, edge to edge, so you get those toppings and cheese in every single bite. So I decided to try this place out as I was craving pizza after my part time. When I first saw the place, it was deserted with only a guy, waiting for his to-go pizza and a woman taking orders. In front of the counter, there was this rusty/charred machine. Definitely a place that looked like it needed to be cleaned! The woman was pretty rash. or came off like it; however, she did then say she had been the only one working there since 9 a.m. After the guy left, I made my order, first asking for the $7 special, which apparently is only available after 3 p.m (as she said) $6.50 including tax for an 8" OOOOF! I decided to get it anyway with two toppings, Italian sausage and pineapple. As I waited, one of those "animated" guys came in. You know, those guys who look like they have some mental problem? He then asked the gal about a special, which was an xtra large for the price of a large. She then replied with a "huh". Most hilarious thing followed. He then asked again "Are you still doing the extra large for large?" She then responds "Yes". And he is like "All right GOD DAMN!" She then begins to make our pizzas, without gloves on her hands! While this was all happening, I apparently made conversation and the guy highlighted this place as having the BEST pizza. He went to finally pay for his and the gal was like $15.50! He then asked "But you just said you were doing that deal?!" She then said "Nope" and then made excuses that the deal was the Mon/Tues deal 14" for $10.99. I then tried to remedy the situation by saying "Why not just average the $10.99 with the $15.99 and have him pay $13 even? lol Apparently, she just gave it to him for the $10 he had in cash. When my pizza came out, I have to say that it was okay. It is pretty much comparable to Donatos; however, they put more cheese to where it puffs out of the pizza. It definitely gives the impression of a bigger portion size than what it is. As far as all that happened, while I was there; It was a great story that I had to write out. It was also one that I can now use to point out the glaring flaws. To the manager of this location: please pay your people enough to want to work there and staff more people. It does not help the image if the only employee there is exhausted and rude. She did hint that more employees were hired for the 5 o clock rush; however, again, one employee being able to take care of the earlier crowd does not do justice, she was exhausted to irritation! It also would not hurt if the employees actually knew the specials, as to not side step if asked. The banner never said anything about after 3 p.m. (false advertising)! There was actually no menu board in the pizza place neither, with prices for the pizza (yes there were menus on the counter). Additionally, I overhead a phone call about the delivery driver (only one) being 2 hours wait time for the next delivery to a customer? What happened to adhering to your own motto "Fast delivery. The location on New Circle gave me the wrong order last night, I had to go back and get it. The guy told me to bring the pizza back because he needed it back. I drive all the way back for the guy to say "oh sorry man" gave me the correct order and walk away. I get the run around from the manager of that location this afternoon, who tells me the owner is at another location, speak to him there. Hes not there and apparently never there. When I asked for a refund since I had to drive all the way back. They said no, you can have in store credit. I dont want that, refund my money. She said the Owner wont refund youd money though. We asked at the hotel about pizza delivery for our first night in Lexington. We had traveled all day and just didn't feel like going out. We ordered the chicken pizza and cheese bread. The cheese bread was very good and had lots of cheese which I like. I wasn't as impressed with the pizza. It was suppose to have green and red peppers on it and when it arrived, while there were green and red peppers, they were not fresh peppers as I am accustomed to. The pizza was also slightly over cooked in my opinion. I will say that the delivery time was quicker than expected and quicker than they said which was really nice, everyone was very polite, and the pizza was delivered hot. read more

I want to start by saying that my family only eats Sir Pizza when we choose to eat pizza. It is more expensive than other places but we pick it anyway. My review is in regards to the service or lack thereof. I live 40 miles away from Lexington so often times I will pick up pizza for carry out, take it home and reheat it for dinner. Today I did this very thing. I ordered two pizzas and spent 41 dollars. That is fine if I get what I paid for. One pizza was fine. The other was supposed to be covered in pepperoni with one half covered with olives and the other half with onions. They put the onions and olives on the same side. I did not open the box to check because I have never had a problem. I get home a few hours later and we heat the pizza and sit down to eat and find the problem. When I call the manager/owner is a jerk. He wonders why I haven't eaten sooner even though I explain the distance and the fact that the pizza was saved for dinner. He offered me a measly three dollars off another order! Um, no. That is half a pizza inedible and the other lacking. Lame! Tried to order 75 min before close from Richmond road location which is 4 miles away. I was told to call the cross roads location but since it was 15 min till close for cross roads I was told its carry out only. So I call the Richmond road location and they say "well it depends, how much are you going to tip the driver". Either you're open for business or you're not, cut the crap! Well I wouldn't know how the food is here because we didn't get it, was told it would take 45 min to be delivered after an hour and 15 minutes we called and the lady informed me, who by the way was a manager, informed me the driver is stuck in traffic and she had no idea when they would be delivering our food, due to the fact we had to go to work BC we work 3rd shift we needed to cancel. The manager then told me our $30+ would be refunded here we are 24 hours later the same manager informed us we needed to contact the main office!!! Then we call there and nobody knows what's going on...horrible customer service I have worked in the food industry and when I made mistakes I did whatever I could to make it right but in this issue I can't get refunded for a pizza I never received oh and no apologies. read more
