I love the taste of Giovanni's pizza! If you get sick of the same old chain pizza, step into Giovanni's! The buffet has lots of choices and comes with a salad bar and dessert pizza. If there's a certain pizza you don't see on the buffet, just let your server know and they'll get one out there! Very accommodating. I've been there a couple times as a regular customer and the food and service has always been great. Most recently I was apart of a party in the rentable back room. Visited on 6/11/26. Not busy! Waitress came to table to take order. I asked for Gluten Free Options and she said she would check and be right back. Came back and said manager was busy but would get back to us. WAITED 1/2 HOUR! I went to find the waitress she was just hanging out in the front. She asked what I wanted and I said our waitress never came back. She said the answer is "our menu is what it is." End of discussion. Wasted time sitting waiting and due to schedule didn't have time for alternative. Called on 6/12 and talked to "owners daughter" who said - the waitress was "just a teenager" like that was an excuse. Said to leave whatever review you want. Very bad attitude. Said they have a cauliflower crust as the only option but waitress never mentioned it. Have eaten here in the past but will never be back. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is pretty good for a small local pizza place. Just it is hard for it to live up to the local legendary Pasquale's that spoiled us for over 40 years. But for the fair price and they will take requests of pizza to add to the buffet. Interesting deco, a mix of almost steampunk and strip mall. Booths and tables both. Music wasn't too loud. They do need to find a way to improve the salad bar. If I am in the area and want pizza, I will eat here again. read more

Placed an online order, eta was 50 mins, picked it up around 40 mins instead. Looks and tastes like it was cooked 4 hours ago. Paid for extra ranch, no ranch to be found. Chicken bacon ranch pizza was ordered. Used to be my favorite pizza place, after calling and telling them about the pizza, was told to either bring the UNTOUCHED pizza in, and they could remake it, or if it was touched then there was nothing they could do for me. For a small town, i'd assume compliance with customers would be important, guess not. read more

This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised! We had the buffet. The pizza was yummy and the spaghetti was also very good. I really enjoyed the salad bar(small but really good). Chocolate chip dessert pizza was also yummy! We had never had Mac & cheese pizza - it was different and really good! The waitress we had was Amber and she was very sweet and attentive. The food was good! My only problem is the server. My girlfriend,sister,niece,kids, and I went for the buffet and we all got 1 refill on our drinks because we know how crazy they will go if we say they can get all they want. But after we got done I left our server a $12 tip and my sister left her a $10 tip. As we were walking out of the place our server was telling her coworkers about how we got so many refills and didn't leave a tip. We handed the tip to her directly so that was a lie, and like I said we limited ourselves to 1 refill so I don't know what her problem was. Food good management is sub par

I am a weekly customer. Me and my girlfriend's kid come every Tuesday. The staff is always extremely friendly. As we walk in the door they tell us they are making us our favorite pizzas. And the pizza is fantastic. The variety of flavors is unbeatable. This pizza place is the reason why the other pizza places went out of business, they couldn't compete with it. Plenty of seating and even has a party room. A big bonus is the price. $8.99 including a drink. What more can you ask for? read more

We never eat in here because every time we go they can't keep the pizza buffet stocked, so we took a chance and ordered delivery, mistake. Crust was like chewing an inner tube, way too much sauce, low quality ingredients used for toppings, and forgot the sides of banana peppers. Pretty much a waste of $43 plus $4 tip. The only good thing was it arrived faster than expected, but they could have used that extra time to cook the crust better. read more

My wife and I love the pizza. We've tried the pepperoni pounder, the chicken bacon ranch, the buffalo chicken, and created our own deluxe pizza. They were all excellent. Their bread sticks with cheese and buffalo chicken wings are also very good. I definitely recommend it. read more

We were at the local college, which was hosting a high school graduation ceremony. We were leaving the college parking lot, sitting in a long line of traffic searching for a place our large group of approx 20 could grab a bite. One of our group had eaten at Giovannis and made that suggestion. A couple of texts back and forth and it was decided. I decided to give the a heads up that we were coming, and asked about the buffet. He said it was set to close up in about 10 minutes (just the buffet, the dining room is open til 11 for orders), but if I could give him an estimated number of people in the party who might order the buffet, he would try to keep it open a little longer. Not only did he keep it open, they kept making fresh pizzas to fill the buffet to feed our hungry group. I know the waitstaff was not thrilled that we put a wrinkle in their schedule, but they did a great job! We will always recommend Giovannis to anyone coming through that area. We order delivery quite often from Gio's. Even on weekends or typically busy days, we receive our orders very quickly. A few times the pizza was stuck to the lid, but the driver always noticed and called in a new order. Within a few minutes, they delivered the new pizza and gave us the "damaged" one! My family loves their pizza and my husband and I have tried many sandwiches. The bread they use for the sandwiches is always really good--not hard or soggy. We love this place as it reminds of our hometown pizza place. However, not all Giovanni's are the same. Whenever we are camping or passing through Hillsboro, we make a point to stop in and get the pizza. We usually get 3-4 of our favorite topping on an original crust. We like ours cut into squares as it is easier to handle if not using your proper utensils (hillbilly style eatin'.) The crust is just right with a little bit of crisp but not too much. The sauce is great and the toppings taste fresh. This time my husband ordered a small Antipasto Salad. It was great! They don't hold back and throw everything in it. Lettuce, ham, pepperoni, cheese, olives, tomatoes, red onion, green peppers, and bacon were all in this "small salad. It was a meal in and of itself! We missed the buffet but that was no big deal as we got everything we wanted by just ordering the pizza and salad. read more

The italian sub is excellent! Great place with atmosphere. Also love their cheesy garlic bread pizza and beer by the pitcher!
