This place is pitiful when it comes to online ordering. Tonight I ordered two 10" pizzas. One was supposed to be thin crust pepperoni , lite sauce and square cut. It was regular crust and there was NO sauce. The other was supposed to be regular crust and ham as a topping and lite sauce. It was thin crust and NO sauce. Plus yall kept asking what was the name on the order. Both pizzas were way overcooked. And to top it off, there was some woman who kept opening every box and looking inside. This location has THE MOST compassionate, kind and helpful staff around! Plus, the pizza continuously comes out hot and fresh. The salad/baked potato bar have more toppings than I'd ever seen before and the pasta bar seemed never ending! The fountain drinks were fresh and they even offer a variety of diet soft drinks (Diet Cola AND Diet Mt Dew). All for extremely reasonable prices, too. The only thing I could possible find to criticize is that the facility itself desperately needs updating. But if you have a family or group that is seeking an outstanding buffet, top notch customer service AND very reasonable prices, look no further! read more

This was the second time we have dined in 2 hours before closing. Upon walking in, the pizza that was out was already old. So, we decide to wait and pick on the salad bar. There was no pasta salad. When asked they said "we're out". Mind you the pasta used in the pasta bar is the same pasta used for the pasta salad and all the ingredients for the pasta salad are on the salad bar. So, they were not out. They just didn't make it. That's fine but don't say you're out. After 30 minutes of waiting and eating from mainly the pasta/salad bar we ask if they were going to put out any new pizza. They said they were not since there were not many ppl there. We got there at 7pm. They close at 9pm. This is the second time they've done this. We will never dine in there again. I'll forgive the hair I found in one of the only 2 slices of pizza I had. Accidents happen. But not providing food at a buffet with 2 hours left in the night is not ok. read more

This place used to be so good! They did have the best pizza and they were very active in jessamine county. With the new owner they aren't as active, their food also isn't as good. Their pizza is always cold, and never fresh. They are also not clean Their salad is never cold, it never taste like salad. Also my silverware and plate was dirty like it had not been cleaned. I would have to say that my experience was not a positive one. The food was okay and the variety of pizza choices was great. The service on the other had was terrible. The young lady that was working at the counter did nothing but complain how under staffed they were and needed more people. The restaurant was a mess when we walked in there was plates on several tables and the others had not been cleaned. They had styrofoam plates to use because there were no clean plates. I have eaten at several of these restaurants and never have a real high standard but this one fell really short. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them. read more

There's no reason not to use fresh ingredients and to keep fresh pizza on buffet. When slow offer to prepare whole pizza for table to keep food cost down. A few times a year we will stop in at the Nicholasville Giovanni's for the buffet. Today's experiences was one of the best. It was a Friday night so they were fairly busy. The salad bar was fresh and well stocked. The "Red Dressing" is killer. All of the Pasta sauces and breads were fresh, hot, and kept full. The Pizzas were great. Nothing too fancy, but do you expect them to be? They even let me purchase some "Red Dressing" for my salads at home! My only complaint is the taste of some of the pasta after it's been hanging out in water all night. A little mushy and it tends to get the plate wet causing some strange textures. I understand the need for the water, but still not quite a perfect experience. read more

It got one star because I had to. It deserve no stars. Order food for delivery and it was delivered pretty quick. The sandwich was okay, onion rings were soggy, pizza I could have did a better job with Pillsbury and cheese. So I called. I never complain. The guy said he would credit my account. Giovanni's is great pizza at a low price for the quality. Buffet is good with plenty of good hot pizza, salad bar and dessert. Sometimes they even have brownies. Kids eat free (I think it's 5 and under, but check to be sure), so the family can get in and out for little $$ and is much better quality than other low cost pizza joints. read more
