I went in for my routine exam and cleaning. I really like that they send you reminders of when you're due. The front desk was very friendly as always and I was seen soon after I arrived. The office is always super clean and calming, which helps with my nerves. The dental assistant was very nice and efficient when taking my X-rays. Dr. Goyal is extremely professional and personable. Dr. Goyle and staff are really wonderful. I have been going for my dental care here for many years along with my husband and 3 sons. Growing up I had the worst experience with the dentist. Once I became a parent I vowed that my son would never share the same experience at the dentist. I was referred to Royal Dental by My Aunt she too despised the dentist. She told me Dr. Goyal is the best, she calls him Dr. Angel Hands for good reason! Dr. Goyal has the softest touch. You won't even feel the numbing shot & if you happen to feel pain during procedure, Dr. Goyal will numb you up as needed. My son is 5yrs old & thankfully no cavities or any issues. I hate to negatively update a review for a buisness... I have been going to this detnal office for the last 3 years. Recently, I visited due to tooth pain. I was told that I needed a root canal and a crown for the painful tooth (which i already figured was the case). After talking to the dentist, he had me speak with the front office assistant, Mary, in regards to payment and out of pocket costs. After speaking with Mary, I felt offended and embarassed. She stated that "she could slug me because I was too young to to be in need of such dental procedures, and that I needed to take better care of my teeth". Playful or not, it was not a preofessional comment to make. Also, she claimed that the office never received a check payment from me back in 2011. What? I kindly told Mary that I mailed the payment to them as soon as I received it from my insurance company. She asserted that I must have kept it because they never received it. Really? When asked if I could receive my services that day, she said I would have to cover the whole cost myself and be reimbursed by my insurance because "they could not take the loss". What loss? Oh yeah, I forgot...I was accused of not forwarding the insurance payment. So, after feeling humiliated, angry, and offended, I called my insurance company for a copy of the cashed check. Long and behold, it was endorsed my dentist's business stamp and deposited into his account. read more

I feel that most places don't care and hurt you during your procedures making your overall experience that much scarier. And at this place they are! I've been coming here myself for years. They are so patient with my son, they walk him through everything! I hate to be one of the only bad reviews but I have to tell it how it was. I went to a pediatric dentist for a while and took it into my own hands that I had to find a dentist office for all ages. Royal Dental was right across the street from my previous dentist so I looked them up on yelp...they have very good reviews. I was sold. My dad and his whole side of the family goes to a dentist that I have been to once when I was younger but I wanted to try and find a dentist on my own. I will say the only reason I would give this place 1 star is because of Mary, the lady at the front desk. She was a little too nice, but the only one who even smiled at me when I made eye contact. So, I am a brand new patient there, and did the regular procedures and got x-rays taken of my teeth (mind you I have never ever had a single cavity in my entire life!). I do not remember the doctor's name, I know it was not Dr. Smith, that was the white dentist. There was an Indian dentist who came into the room and was talking over me as he asked me if I had any questions. I was trying to ask questions but he was talking to the assistant in the room and ignored all of my questions and like he had no emotion at all told me I had 10 cavities! 10?! I asked him if he was positive and he asked me if I was questioning his professionalism. First I thought he as joking so I laughed...turned out he was actually serious and told me to look at my x-rays if I did believe him. How in the world am I supposed read an x-ray? So he told me he would have to do 5 cavities this year and then wait till next year to do the other 5 next year cause of my insurance. He also told me one was so bad I would probably need a root canal. I also a got a deep cleaning which apparently was not covered under my insure, which made no sense cause turns out it was. I had to pay 50$ out of pocket. Mind you they didn't even clean my teeth after with any tooth paste or anything. They just drilled and picked at my gums and teeth. So I got home and told my parents everything that happened and how apparently I had 10 cavities. My parents were completely shocked, and said there was no way. I made an appointment with my dad's dentist and saw them a couple days ago, and I went to Royal Dentist two weeks ago. When I got to my dad's dentist I got x-rays again and they deep cleaned my mouth again cause apparently they didn't do a great job, and they finished it with an actually teeth cleaning with minty tooth paste and polished my teeth. The dentist told me I had 3 initial cavities, aka tiny cavities that did not even need that much drilling. He did not have to inject me with any numbing stuff or anything. He put a little but of numbing gel in the areas he had to scrape but that was it! It took maybe 25 minutes and he and his staff were super gentle. Needless to say, I will never be going back to this place again even though it was super convenient and 2 minutes away from my house. I would rather drive twenty minutes to the dentist I will now be seeing from now on. I do not know if this "professional" office was trying to take advantage of a young new patient, I do not know, I do not want to think that way because I feel like if you are a professional place that deals with health and hygiene that they would be honest with you and not try to take advantage with your money. Maybe I was one of the bunch that that happened to, but I really hope this does not happen to anyone else. read more

I had a great experience here. I always recommend Royal Dental to everyone. I first came to Dr. Goyal because I had a tooth emergency. His staff is friendly and understanding and were able to fit me in. I ended up needing a root canal. It was the best root canal I've ever had! I actually fell asleep (without being given sedation) during the root canal. His hands are just that gentle! This is a very children friendly place. My kids love it here and actually ask to go!
