Dr. Eggert is one of the most dedicated veterinarians I have ever met. Time and again, she has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond, often helping pets after hours when many clinics would have turned them away. My cat wasn't eating so we took her in. They ran a full panel on her and the doctor, Dr. Eggert said she had a UTI. We thought it was odd as she was prone to those and showed zero signs of it. So they gave her oral antibiotics and sent us home. She really hated taking those and was super stressed and not happy. After two weeks no improvement so we went back in. Another full panel was run and now they told us she had liver cancer. I know even if they got it right the first time my kitty was still going to die. But to completely misdiagnose her and causer her so much anguish was just too much to bear. We got no apologies or acknowledgement from the office. Why did it take 2 full panels to find something like cancer. It was there the first time. I just can not trust this office.

Our experience with Oak Hills has been brief but beyond anything we could imagine. My wife and I…read morebrought in our guinea pig, Cooper, who had been losing weight and struggling to eat as usual. Dr. Burright gave us a clear treatment plan along with some tips about what to feed and not to feed him for his diet. She was incredibly accommodating, thorough, and willing to answer my many questions. She and her staff followed up with me every day to check up on Cooper's progress. Unfortunately, our little guinea didn't make it, but we knew we could count on Oak Hills to let him rest in guinea heaven. In our first visit, Dr. Burright assured us that if the time did come, that she would personally supervise Cooper was asleep before he was put down and that he would have company all along. She was very compassionate, as was the rest of her staff. BUT THIS IS WHAT MEANT THE WORLD TO ME... After Cooper was taken into the euthanasia room, Dr. Burright returned to tell us that it was indeed the right and humane decision to let him rest for good. She confirmed all of my suspicions about his progress not being enough to kick his illness and ensured I felt good about what was undoubtedly a very tough decision. Words can't explain just how much that means to hear from a professional, especially at a time of such heartache. Letting your pet go is never easy, but I felt at total peace knowing Dr. Burright and her staff were looking after Cooper until his last seconds. If they hadn't already done the world for him, they also sent us a flower arrangement the next day to express their condolences. We were touched. I can't recommend a veterinary clinic any more than I do Oak Hills, they are First Class.

Not an ounce of compassion. Fortunately I was at least able to retrieve his body and had him buried in a pet cemetery. He had been wonderful his entire life and nobody in that place cared about him in the least. He was just another dog to do away with to them.
