The quality of their workmanship was exceptional, with great attention to detail and a focus on ensuring that the bed was both secure and functional. On top of that they were so nice and extremely helpful. They even moved heavy furniture from one level of our house to another and cleaned everything up once they were finished. [Quote and scheduling]: Assembly Masters do not list pricing information on their website. Customers must request a quote via the "GET A FREE QUOTE HERE" button on the website or by calling their contact number. I submitted my request online and received an initial quote of $119.00 (flat rate with no tax) for one cabinet. However, I clarified that my initial job request was assembling two IKEA BRIMNES cabinets and the representative apologized for the typo. Unlike few other assembly companies, Assembly Masters require (1) customers to provide their full address and phone number for order confirmation and (2) provide credit card information to secure the appointment. I later called their number where I spoke with Todd who was very friendly. He finalized my appointment and processed my credit payment payment over the phone. [Service terms and conditions]: Here are some key service terms and conditions to be aware of - * FREE street / validated or paid parking by customer; parking to be provided for Assembler * All boxes to be located in the desired area for assembly prior to arrival * Attaching Items to the wall is an optional service - added charge may apply * Moving items to another room after Assembly is not included * Empty boxes and debris are stacked neatly for disposal by customer * Assemblers do not haul trash/ boxes away after service is complete * Assemblers are NOT required to move existing furniture/ Items * Pictures/ Video of assembly are taken by Assembler for verification [Process]: The technician Alvaro arrived within 24 hours of my booking and within the 3-hour scheduled time window. He was friendly and well-prepared with his tools. Alvaro was able to complete the assembly of both IKEA BRIMNES cabinets in just over an hour. [Conclusion]: Assembly Masters provided a reasonable quote and completed the job efficiently. However, few areas could use improvement including (1) allowing customers to pay in cash or by credit card in person before the job begins rather than requiring payment over the phone, (2) listing clear service prices (or price range) on the website instead of requiring customers to request a quote, and (3) offering to haul away empty boxes instead of leaving them to the customer. Personally these are relatively minor issues, but another furniture assembly company I recently worked with managed to accomplish all three of these areas in addition to completing the assembly job. If these points are not dealbreakers, Assembly Masters is still a solid choice for anyone looking to save time assembling IKEA furniture.

I had used intallers outside the Ikea service for many other projects, very successfully. I contacted 3 contractors via Yelp. Liz from Just Ikea Furniture Assembly was the first to answer by text. I was behind on the project due to other issues, so time was of the essence. By phone she quoted $ 1000/day, then went to $600/day. I was waiting few days for others to submit their bids, but there was delay, so I called Liz back. She was flexible on scheduling, so I agreed, not to delay the project. She asked for 1200 cash ( 200+), at the end of 1 day work, we agreed. Julian was an installer. He is a good guy and hard worker, BUT i don't think he knows Ikea systems very well, as the business is called JUST IKEA Assembly, so one would expect that it is given! He worked 1.5 days and had to come back on Sunday evening to finish, we accommodated him as much we could. ULTIMATELY: the Besta cases were done OK, but NO adjustments on spacing, run OUT of time to install handles. He struggled big time with Auli closet door. Left set of doors IS NOT still working properly, despite few adjustments. Makes incredibly LOUD noise when moved to the left. Can't use it, as it is now. Have to hire someone to fix it! SUMMARY: disappointed! Would NOT recommend or use service again. Other bids came finely around $650. NOT a good feeling.

We moved so we had installation kings come out again to mount our TVs. After doing the intake over…read morethe phone, the technician came out and we were told there would be additional charges for what we wanted to do and that he did not do any drywall patching. The quote was then way more than what we were expecting so we didn't move forward with the work. We were then told they had a $75 cancellation fee - something we were never told over the phone. I've never had this happen before. Even with our other handyman, plumbers, etc. - if you can't do the work, you don't get paid for NOT doing the work. We were told that this would cover gas expenses - why take a job that is out of your network? They knew our address well before coming out. Also, some of our intake conversations were over text, so I wish we discussed the job over photos so they knew what we wanted to do in terms of the job and give us a proper quote. Just felt very scammy and weird after them asking for money without starting the job.

Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

I had a great experience with GitCrafts. They were very prompt with scheduling, came exactly when they said they would be here. The place I live at is a pretty old apartment building and it had double drywall installed so I couldn't find the stud myself.
