    Spaghetti Fra Diavolo

We arrived on a busy Friday night around 5:30 and fortunately they had a few empty tables. My daughter enjoyed the spaghetti fra diavoli which comes with a salad and some warm bread. I enjoyed the chicken Parmesan and the warm rolls deserve a 2nd mention! Service was quick and friendly. It was a bit too chilly for me to eat outside, but the patio was set up cute.

First time here, saw the reviews so decided to come in. Margherita Pizza, Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo with linguine & a classic Caesar salad with chicken. Staff were friendly and it's a cute spot, parking & outdoor seating. Pizza was good but would've been better with a bit more sauce. The taste was great! So was the chicken Alfredo. Really came for the salad unfortunately was very basic. I was expecting a real Italian Caesar- fresh croutons with shaved Parmesan cheese, anchovies & real dressing. Sadly, it was just romaine, chicken, croutons & dressing that was bottled. I'll be back for evening dining to get the full effect & ambiance. I would definitely recommend this restaurant despite the salad.

First of all, I would like to say "thanks" to Yelp friend, Mike F. who reviewed this restaurant, thus bringing it to my attention. We were here on a Friday night for an early dinner. Before heading out, we consulted Mapquest to get directions from our hotel. It wasn't difficult to find at all. Plus, they have a very visible sign so no worries about driving right past it. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated. Our server was prompt getting to us. Having looked at the menu online, we both knew what we wanted. I ordered one of Juliana's specialty dishes (such dishes have a "J" next to them on the menu), Lobster Ravioli. This dish is served with vodka sauce. All their pastas are homemade, except for their gluten-free ones. The raviolis were big and generously stuffed with lobster. Our server told us that there would be chunks of lobster in the sauce. My husband ordered "Nonna's Spaghetti with Homemade Meatballs". This dish is served with red sauce and has 4 meatballs in it. Each entree comes with a side salad. The choices were Caesar or garden salad. We both chose the garden salad which is served with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The salad is splendid in its simplicity and consists of finely chopped tomatoes, shredded mozzarella cheese and a curly lettuce. We really enjoyed it. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the bread that is served was far different than the usual Italian bread. What we got was "pizza bread" which, basically, was a piece of Sicilian style pizza, that was quite tasty. As for the main courses --- Both dishes arrived piping hot. My raviolis were generously stuffed with lobster. However, there were no lobster pieces in the vodka sauce---and that's a shame as it would have taken this dish up a notch. My husband liked the meatballs in his dish. He found the sauce to be too chunky for his taste. I asked him for a taste and found that basil was the dominant spice. I wish that we had room for dessert as they had some that sounded absolutely delicious. Other things to note --- they also have pizzas and subs on the menu. This is a very popular local spot. We didn't care for the parking situation as the lot in front of the place was on a somewhat steep hill which made backing out kind of tricky. Still, it's well worth a visit and we have no regrets about having tried it.

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Julianna's restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The service was top-notch, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Now, onto the food - absolutely mouthwatering! The menu offered a fantastic variety, we chose dishes from the weekend specials, shrimp stuffed crab meat and the linguine vongole, It was a burst of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. LOADED with seafood! The portions were generous, and the presentation was exquisite. Don't even get me started on the dessert - it was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal, we ended up ordering portions to take home! I can't wait to return to Julianna's. If you're looking for a restaurant for date night or friends gatherings, this is the place to be! #JuliannasRestaurant #FoodieHeaven

The food here is absolutely delicious. On Wednesdays they have pasta flights, and they are phenomenal. Also, the outdoor area is so beautiful. I love coming here so much!

Italian comfort food at its finest. Juliana's is a bit pricier than other Italian restaurants in the area, so I waited for a special occasion - my birthday! And man, was it everything I could have hoped for. The haul was a pizza, clams oreganata, and a bunch of pasta dishes. If you've ever had clams casino, then you're gonna love Clams Mediterraneo. The difference being clams oreganata is served with more buttery scampi broth and subs chunks of smoky, salty pancetta for bacon. Really good if you have some bread to dip in the excess broth! I was super impressed with the grandma pizza. Gooey slabs of milky mozzarella dot the landscape of homemade sauce, which is then topped with slices of fresh tomatoes, blistered to perfection. The entire pie is then sprinkled with the perfect blend of Italian spices. All the pasta dishes were excellent. Personally, I splurged and went for Tagliatelle Scampi Meat - baby lobster meat (which I think is Langostino) in vodka sauce over fresh homemade tagliatelle. The "lobster" part definitely got my attention, but really I was more excited about the homemade tagliatelle. It's such a rare pasta option. All you ever see is spaghetti, rigatoni, penne, fettucine, and linguini. I've watched Hell's Kitchen religiously, and in virtually every season, they've served tagliatelle. That's their pasta of choice, and it's apparent why. It's a wide pasta, wider than fettuccine, and thus it creates more surface area for sauces to coat. Good for thin and thick sauces alike (but I guess mostly for thick, due to its smooth surface). Since my bday, I ordered again and got a few more pasta dishes (and the clams once again). The chicken piccata is outstanding. A lot of restaurants, I've found, skimp on the lemon and capers. To me, that's what gives the sauce life. It really just makes the flavors so much more vibrant. Juliana's doesn't hold back. Really potent sauce and an abundance of capers. Every bite is a flavor explosion. Juliana's definitely vaulted to the top of my list when it comes to made-from-scratch Italian cooking. There's clearly a lot of love put into each and every dish.

I honestly don't know why I don't come here more often, especially considering I like this food…read moremore than any offering from the wildly more popular Paolo's Pizza which is just up the road. So, what makes Paolo's more popular? The fact that they have a bar, I'd reckon. Chicho Bella (I love saying this out loud, by the way) is located at an unfortunate location nestled between a gas station and used car dealership off a busy stretch of U.S.-222 BUS. Unless you're looking for it, you'd probably just zoom right by it and be none the wiser. Hell, even when I was looking for it, I zoomed right past it because it's basically on the side of a highway, and the building itself is tiny. Your eyes would have to be glued to the side of the road rather than the road itself to have a chance of spotting it. That is, unless you want to be plodding along with an angry, mile-long convoy behind you going 20 MPH as you're squinting at every building in the general vicinity of where your GPS took you. Once I found the damn place, it was smooth sailing... well, kinda. I went in, picked up my order, got back to my car, and.. hmm, something seems off. Ah yes, I'm missing my salad. Go back in to retrieve said salad. Guy working behind the counter says, "Oh, my bad, here it is." The salad is teetering on some ledge five inches from the ceiling above the grill. Ah yes, warm salad. Nothing better. So yeah, other than the fact that they need to double check the pickup orders to make sure everything is actually there, I quite liked the food. They put a lot of passion into their menu. They being the two owners of the restaurant that appeared in a Reading Eagle article years back when Chicho Bella first opened. I walked in and it was like "Oh shit, those are the same two guys behind the counter cooking and manning the cash register." These dudes aren't just sitting back and hiring people to do the dirty work. They are very much hands-on owners who are doing what it takes to keep their business afloat. I have to respect that. They have some good specials online (especially during lunch), so be sure to check out their official website. Chicho's is the perfect spot for hoagies, personal stromboli's, and chef salads (with hard-boiled egg!). Fantastic selection.

Food is average or just above on a good day, so I can recommend if you are close and hungry you will probably be satisfied. But one thing that may have contributed to it's decline is employee satisfaction and appreciation. As I go into detail here. Had a really uncomfortable experience last visit. I thought we would try Mangia again but while we were eating we had to listen to the manager (?) berating one of the employees. Not only was it very negative but there was foul language as well. If you have something to address with an employee.. do it respectfully and privately. Not in front of coworkers, and especially not in the presence of customers.
