My friends and I eat in sometimes or take things to go and I've ordered from this Mama's once for dinner and it was very good and we were very satisfied. We got a pepperoni pizza, parmesan peppercorn which are awesome btw, and fries. Tonight we ordered the same thing but got garlic butter wings instead which were fantastic but they forgot our blue cheese, no biggie. Their pizza tonight, however was just pathetic honestly. The bottom of it was drenched and completely soggy. You couldn't even pick it up without the entire thick layer of cheese with a stack of pepperoni sliding off. I was disgusted. I called about it and tried to explain what the situation was. The girl over the phone proceeded to tell me maybe it's just from the pepperoni? Um..if you actually spread the cheese and pepperoni correctly, it would have been evenly distributed and wouldn't be falling apart. She didn't give me a hard time and sent the driver to deliver me another pizza. It was taken care of and I appreciate it! I figured it was a busy Friday night but, I really don't mind waiting as long as it's worth it and not just thrown together. Hopefully when we order next, it will be perfect!

    2 plain and a drink $6. Average.

All pizza is good just because it's pizza right? Pizza is average. That being said I challenge anyone is this region to guide me to great pizza. As with most pizza in the Lehigh valley sauce is just a red coloring, cheese was real, not a lot of orange oil from the fake stuff. The crust, similar to bowling alley pizza, more like bread then crispy Italian crust. All in all ok for the area and 2 slices and a drink for $6. If you expect mouth watering pizza art this is not it. If you are looking for an average slice at a good price point, stop here.

Pretty bad pizza and why are most of their individual slices "cheesesteak stuffed pizza?" That isn't a real thing anywhere else.

My husband and I assessed Austin's differently. He ordered prime rib which he said was nothing short of perfect. Cooked medium rare as requested, tender, juicy -- he savored every bite. I scanned the menu. Nothing jumped out at me. (I generally don't gravitate to steakhouse-type restaurants.) I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs. My point of comparison is Longhorn's which offers more of a bang-for-a-buck, and in my opinion better tasting ribs. Not to say that Austin's aren't good. They are. Based on the popularity of Austin's, it's clear management knows what they're doing. But I think a small salad and baked potato should be available with the price of the entree -- not worth the extra $7 I was going to be charged. The salad is listed as 'field greens,' -- which it's not -- but reading the menu you'll see they mean iceberg and romaine. The salad was good, enhanced by their garlic ranch dressing. We washed down our meals with well-priced drinks: merlot ($8.90) and Blue Moon ($6.90), then splurged on dessert. Austin's flourless double chocolate brownie a la mode is very rich. One order for two adults is plenty. Austin's is aptly described as a family restaurant. A lot of kids. A lot of noise. Service is friendly and on-the-ball. While not my kind of restaurant, if prime rib is your thing -- this could be the place!

I'll never forget watching the continuation of game 5 of the 2008 World Series here when this was…read moreknown as Santino's. I mean I guess it wasn't that long ago, but it feels like a lifetime has passed in between. The bar that night was full of familiar faces. Groups of friends from both Wilson and Wyomissing neighborhoods had been unified with a common aspiration. After nearly two full days of agonizing rain delays, we were all about to witness the Phils bring the city of Philadelphia its first championship in 25 years (since 1983, before so many of us there that night were even born). This isn't Santino's of course, but it's impossible to separate those memories, which is probably the case for many of the folks still coming here who can remember fondly the mingling with family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. I'm glad this remained a restaurant and didn't turn into another spa or something. It's a bit harder to go to a spa and think hey I used to drink Jaegerbombs right over there by the koi pond and speaker playing soothing rainforest sounds. You can tell just by the sequence of naming conventions (from "Santino's" to "Tino's" to finally "State Hill Craft Cocktails & Kitchen") the kind of vibe they're going for here. The "Tino's" era, though brief, proved that you could keep the neighborhood charm and just slightly ratchet up the presentation, especially in the food and bar departments. Over time the menu has shifted from fine-casual Italian to more upscale comfort food, with wagyu meatloaf, lobster mac & cheese, and the always elegant, always dashing meatloaf patty melt. State Hill Craft Cocktails & Kitchen or whatever iteration of dining establishment will be there 15, 20 years from now (Luxe Carwash expansion perhaps) will bring together members of the community that wouldn't ever otherwise cross paths. New friendships will form, and old ones will strengthen. The atmosphere was electric that night in Santino's nearly 20 years ago. Everyone was elated, even people who didn't watch sports were happy because they could see other people were happy. For one night we could push everything else aside, the weight of responsibility and care lifted from our backs. A reminder that joy could be had, and our existences, though flawed, remained full of promise with even better days ahead. This is probably the least helpful review you've ever read LOL

The calamari was fine shavings of calamari coated with fried breading and a strange heavily Parmesan cheese sauce. The gnocchi was eh.... The whipped feta did not add anything great to it. Someone at our table asked for bread and they told us after looking at him in a very confused way... responded with, " sure we can get you bread, focaccia bread, but it may take 20 minutes." The main thing is the water took 10 minutes to get to the table and our drinks took a half an hour after the water came. One appetizer came out 20 minutes after that and then another 25 minutes after that the dinners came out. All in all... We didn't get any food for over an hour and 15 minutes. The wait staff and manager had no idea how slow everything was and we were the only table that ordered. Everyone other table was eating already. The ambience is OK... It's not great and it was so cold. It was uncomfortable. We sat in the back garden room. The entire restaurant was too cold.

I decided to go with the veggie omelette. The food was pretty decent I would say it's like an upscale diner feel with a Mexican flair. It has many Mexican inspired dishes as well. I'll be honest, I didn't know much about this place going in, but I'm really glad I went and I'll definitely be back. Walking in, the first thing you'll notice is a beautiful, large fish tank built right into the wall on your right. The restaurant is dim and upscale-feeling, but still very family-friendly and not loud or overstimulating, so you can actually have a conversation. They have both booths and tables, and the space is very open and spread out. As a parent, you can even strategically seat your family in view of the fish tank or the windows to give the kids something to look at. It's great for a casual family dinner, a date night, or even a birthday celebration. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no ramps, you can roll right in to your table. It's located in a plaza but set apart, so parking was never an issue. Plenty of spots, including handicap parking up front with just a short walk to the entrance. They have a solid variety on the menu including alligator bites, burgers, pasta, salads, and more. It is on the higher end price wise. Most entrees start around $14 and up, and even the kids meals begin at $8.90. The cocktail menu is extensive and the dessert menu is worth a look too. They also have a lunch menu where prices vary a bit more favorably. I ordered the Coastal Cheddar cheeseburger burger with no tomatoes and it was excellent. Very fresh, well seasoned, and served with shoestring fries that were equally on point. They also bring out a ciabatta loaf with butter to start, which was a really nice touch. Food came out quickly (always a plus). The staff is genuinely incredible. There's a tag team mentality where anyone on the floor can help you, refill your drink, or check on your table. My server was very attentive, and even when they got busy someone always stepped in. No reservations needed, at least when I went which was on a Sunday around 1pm. Highly recommend!

My favorite was the Lobster Bisque. It was creamy and deliciously balanced. The clam chowder tasted like "old soup" as per my daughter's review. It was OK, but did taste like it was canned and therefore we didn't eat more than a few spoonfuls of it. (The crab and lobster soups were gone.) We both thoroughly enjoyed the gator bites. They were well prepared and very tender. My daughter enjoyed stated that she was surprised it reminded her more of chicken than what she had expected. The dipping sauce added a nice touch and was not too peppery or spicy. It was well balanced. The seafood gnocchi was filling and flavorful. My daughter enjoyed it and had enough leftover for another meal the next day. I thoroughly enjoyed my lobster roll and ate the whole thing. There was an abundance of fries, which I did not eat. They were good, but did have a bit more of a greasiness than I prefer. The drinks were typical Coke products, which wait staff were attentive to keeping filled. The ambiance is a great place for a casual quality meal with family, friends, work colleagues, or a date. The salt water tank in the "lobby" is always nice to look at. The place is always clean and well maintained. The booths are spacious and you can talk comfortably without being crowded by other patrons. I love this place because the food is always good and the atmosphere is calming with the dim lighting.
