I can't even explain how I had the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. When I had a complaint, I was called a liar and hUng up on repeatedly. I drove to the restaurant for the manager to lie to my faace that he didn't do these things yet his staff told me he was. The part time manager apologized for him and the owner would call me! Right up front, GREAT pizza! I wasn't even hungry and ended up eating 4 pieces. We ordered the supreme and picked it up. Took maybe 20 minutes. Cooked perfectly. Great crust -- not thick but not wafer thin either, delicious home-made flavor to it. The sauce was also to our liking. Not overly tomatoed (yes, I just made a new word), slightly salty and not sweet. Excellent toppings, fresh and tasty. Crumbled sausage which we love. If anyone is familiar with Sergi's Pizza in Potsdam (our outright favorite and we've had pizza in NYC, Philly, Orlando, Rome, Paris, Naples...), this is SO close! We think this is the best pizza in town, as long as you carry out or eat in. We started ordering from them about 6 months ago and no matter how long they promise it will take we still haven't gotten a delivery in under an hour. And we are in plattsburgh, about 10 minute drive time. I completely understand how I'm not the only one ordering but if you know there's 10 deliveries ahead of me don't tell me it's gonna be 30 minutes. People are very friendly, prices reasonable, just don't ever expect a delivery in under 60-90 minutes. read more

Place is close to 87, wish the food was a better crowd pleaser. Salad dressings are not homemade if you're thinking about a pasta dinner and garlic bread is nothing to write home about. We stopped here hoping to grab a quick lunch on the way back from Montreal. At 11:50 AM, On a Monday, we were the only people in the restaurant. We waited 35 minutes for an eggplant parmigiana sandwich and a chicken salad. Sadly, we did not think to check the health score before we ordered: at the time of writing, it is a 62 out of 100. The only thing that is stopping me from giving this place a one star review is the young lady who brought our food out after the long wait. She was incredibly polite and sincere when she apologized for our wait, which the food did not make up for. read more

Stopped in here to pick up a meal during the Ragnar Adirondacks race a few weeks ago. The staff there was soooo incredibly friendly and nice (even though we must have looked like shit after spending a day running through the mountains) and the food was great too. I had the chicken parm hero, which was delicious and really hit the spot. Was also told by my friends that the grilled chicken salad is great. Whole meal for 8 people came out to something like $60. One thing to note is that the location of this place on Google Maps is a little bit off. Google shows it as being on 9N (the main street in town) between Montcalm and Amherst streets, but it's actually a block up--on 9N between Amherst and Pine Point Lane. Great pizza place. Very small but pizzas were good and tasty. The crust is light, just perfect and the toppings were fresh. Beware that the pizzas are big. We have 1 medium and 1 small for a family of 4. Turned out the small one was almost as big as the medium one. Nonetheless we hate them all as they were so tasty! We'll be back. read more

Do NOT spend your hard earned money here. Their customer service is NON EXISTENT. I ordered flavoured wings extra crispy and pizza, very simple. The pizza was fine but the wings were the wrong flavour. I called back about THEIR mistake and they proceeded to argue with me that the flavour was correct despite it not looking nor tasting like what I ordered...I finally got them to remake the wings and send me what I hoped would be the correct flavour, which it was...but now the wings were nowhere near crispy, they looked and felt damn near raw. At this point after having wasted an hour waiting for a "30 minute" delivery and waiting an extra 20 minutes to be given nearly raw chicken I was obviously upset and called back a second time and was given to the night manager who proceed to argue with me again about the flavour of the first wings and then tell me I was "wasting his time" before hanging up in my face. If anyone should be upset about having their time wasted, it should be me...the PAYING customer!! What nerve that little prick has and HORRIBLE customer service. I called back again and asked to speak to him and let out a few choice words. What a TERRIBLE experience that I did not deserve when I explicitly explained what I wanted the first time. It has been over a year since we have ordered from Giuseppie's Pizza and will never again do so. First they tell you 45 min for delivery, show up 1 1/2 hour later !!! With the wrong food. I called for a delivery of wings pizza and celery and blue cheese. When it arrived there was no blue cheese or celery and the pizza was cold and wings were luke warm. It took over an hour to get there as I looked at my cell phone at the time I ordered. 1 hour 5 minutes and I was quoted for 40 minutes. I called back and stated that there was no blue cheese or celery and the guy told me I did not order any. I had my friend verify to me that he heard me order blue cheese and celery. I told them the pizza was cold and wings were only warmed I was told to het them up in the microwave, REALLY why would I call for delivery only to heat it up myself. I told him I would like new wings and pizza and he said no to the wings but would get me a new pizza. Let me see if it took over and hour for the first delivery and the wings were luke warm how cold would they be if they took another hour to get to me. I told him to just come and get the food and I would take a refund, he stated that I could bring it to him, I was not going to drive all the way in, This is why I paid for delivery. By far the worst customer service ever. I will be taking these back as I never touched the food and will be getting my money back. I use to enjoy this place but will be telling everyone of the horrible service from this place. It made me feel like they had the only place in Plattsburgh. Had an unfortunate experience at Giuseppe's in Plattsburgh this afternoon on Valentine's Day on top of that. My wife and I have been frequent customers over the last five years almost on a weekly basis and today had a very bad experience with the food as well as a waitress . My wife ordered a calzone which was partially black and very crispy is not normal.My wife cracked it open and Literally had one bite and could not eat anymore. .40 minutes later the waitress comes out and ask if we need a box where my wife responds I couldn't eat this it seems overcooked, .The waitress then responds well you've eaten half of it. I've never gotten a response like that ever before in the restaurant. This caused me wife to say your service was bad also. The waitress responded "dude can't you see I'm busy?". She then yells loudly to the cook "this lady says you burned her calzone!" It will be a long time before we set foot in that place again. I also posted on their Facebook page in hopes the owner would see it but it has been removed and I've been blocked. But I have to say we have been there for years and on a weekly basis even. I am so frustrated with Giuseppe's. I used to love their food best pizza in Plattsburgh until recently the last 3 times I've ordered from them I get the lemon pepper wings and I don't know if they got a new cook but the wings are so salty and disgusting I couldn't even eat them we wasted 60 dollars on food that we couldn't eat. I don't dare return food only to have someone spit in it. And then I asked for cheesecake with NO CHOCOLATE and they drown it in chocolate sauce. I'm just so over them and I'm done. Never eating there again until they get a new cook. Because I refuse to waste money to just have to throw wings/cheesecake in the trash. I'm utterly disappointed. Here's a hint maybe have your cooks taste the food after they make it and they'll see how disgusting and overly seasoned it truly is. I have been going to This pizza place since I was very young, I would say at least 10 years. But recently they have gone completely down hill. I have gotten a very soggy pizza each time I've gone in the last few months, and when I tried to get a replacement I get nothing but an attitude from the cook/owner. This most recent time we went and sat in, and again the pizza came soaked from the middle at the way to the crust, I explained my problem to the waitress who kindly took it back, but when they came back with what was suppose to be a new pizza I find out the just stuck my old pizza back into the oven. They burnt the whole crust and it was still soaked. After asking for the bill to be lessened as I obviously wasn't going to eat it, the cook yelled from the back that no one ever complains and that we were rude and he never wanted us to come back again. Well I've never once been spoken to like that in a restaurant for making a complaint, but this is uncalled for. If you took the time to read my very long review, I urge you not to go here. Especially if your looking for a nice, non-soggy, pizza. read more
