This place did not disappoint. We started with their cheesy bread. It was fantastic and I was stuffed before our pizza arrived. I love the homemade garlic butter served with it. Honestly didn't even try the food. We were one table out of 3 and grabbed our own drinks. Waitress took others orders and after about 20 minutes of no interaction, we decided we'd just order to go. I waited my turn at the counter with one party paying ahead of me and one guy behind me. My husband was still sitting at the table waiting. While she's ringing up the people ahead of me, another guy who'd been lingering nearby asked the guy behind me if he'd been helped, then proceeded to fully take his order on paper and move him ahead of me to pay once she finished. Never once asked me if I needed something or had ordered. At the end of the guys transaction, I got the dirtiest eye contact from the male employee, still without asking if I needed anything. Now call me insane, but I don't think it's coincidence that we were the only mixed race couple in the place, and the only ones that were not helped. Needless to say, we left with no food, only paying for my drink and with a bleak apology from the female waitress. Thank you completely for ruining my husband's birthday night with your blatant racism. Normally, I absolutely love Giuseppe's, but I'm disappointed in the service I received tonight. I was super excited to see that they extended their hours to 11pm and I could stop after work to grab a pizza. I started calling to order around 10:40 as soon as I got off and no one answered after multiple calls. No big deal I was only like five minutes away. I drove up and they were already pulling the tables inside and said they were closed. If you're not open until 11, just say you aren't so I don't get my hopes up. Probably the worst delivery I have ever received. I called and placed an order and the lady was super nice and even gave a recommendation. I gladly accepted and she said it would be 45 min. This place is only 0.03 miles away from the hotel we are staying at. One hour later our food was still not here so I called to check in. Loved this place! We are big fans of small, "hole in the wall" finds...Giuseppe's is just such a find! It is small but more than makes up for it with the big taste of its pizza. We had a delicious pepperoni with molten hot cheese! Perfect! It even turns out that the owner's wife is from our neck of the woods and they may be opening in our area...man, I hope so! Not sure what the buzz is about to be quite honest. As a local for many years, I've seen mediocre pizza places come and go (and somehow Gigi's has stayed). The two pizzas we got, pepperoni and meat lover's, were just that: mediocre. The delivery was quick, but the crust was soggy and the meat on the pizza was greasy and really did not taste or look high quality. Beware. Credit card fraud. We took the family to St. Pete beach for the weekend and ordered pizza ome night. We paid for the food with credit card, but I tipped the driver in cash. When we got the statement discovered the driver added an extra "1" to the tip amount. I called the owner and he said he was sorry, but that was it. I said I wanted my $10.00 back and he relictantly took my address and said he'd send a check. 5 weeks later.....nothing. Save yourself the headache and eat somewhere else. read more

After leaving the Post Card Inn, less than a block away - I found this shop, and left not only satisfied, but highly impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. The Muffuletta is the best I've tasted outside of New Orleans, and the Pizza is cooked in a very traditional Sicilian way. I haven't visited any other Pizza joint in St. Pete, but I seriously doubt I'll go anywhere else while this spot is open. read more

Went into this little place. Small but friendly. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Not quite as thin as a typical ny/nj style and not thick like a pan pizza just in between and perfect. No problem making a half supreme and half Hawaiian. They do have cannoli for dessert. They also offer pasta dishes subs and salads. read more

Deeeelicious pizza! Ordered a large with sausage, meatballs, bacon and garlic- oh man, it was so good! Crispy bacon, flavorful sausage, great crust. Awesome local pizza place!! The 5 stars is because of the taste and quality of pizza. When we go on vacation and decide to have pizza, I never eat chain I always choose local. My husband and I went on a Wednesday night and ate inside the dining room. It is tiny, so big parties I recommend you get takeout. They do deliver. I kept reading reviews on the steak and cheese sub, so we had to try it. It was great!! The french bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. We also got a small cheese pizza to share (which is plenty for 2 people). We LOVED it. The crust was not extremely thin which is what I prefer. We just showed up on Sunday at 5pm, waited 15 minutes at the front counter. Rang the bell and called while standing there. After 15 min we walked around back to see what looked like the 3 or 4 employees all smoking at the same time. Not a good way to run a business.. hope this review helps them keep better tabs on when customers come.
