A neighborhood corner with a beautiful tree turned into a beer garden/bar? Yes, please! After several times passing by and not coinciding with their hours, today was the charm. They open at 3 on Saturdays and they have a nice beer selection on tap and also non-alcoholic beverages like root beer. Cool spot; recommended!

Date of visit: June 28, 2025…read more This is not a spot I would likely find myself given that I don't drink, but we were here for a birthday party and found it to be a lovely little venue. With wonderful weather, the front garage door was open and allowed us to move back and forth from the front patio section to the interior area to get beverages from the bar. The acoustics in the bar area were not great, making it hard to talk, so I was glad that we could utilize the outdoor area where it was much easier to talk. However the facility does do a good job of utilizing the space effectively, given its narrow footprint. I really only saw one staffer but she was very friendly and suggested the No Pain Painkiller, an oddly-named drink that had coconut and orange juice in it. The first one was very good, the second one...not as good. Not sure why but I definitely would not have gotten a second one if they were reversed!

Sasquash Pumpkin Lager: Milwaukee (MKE) Brewing Company brewed their first beer in October of 1997…read more Although it's the appropriate time of year, it was not the pumpkin lager I have today. I've become less of a beer guy since my college days, but I couldn't resist the urge to pick this up. Even though I find them to be real hit or miss, I like to try at least one new pumpkin beer each fall. What caught my attention was the interesting looking design on the can of a sasquatch-like creature with a jack-o'-lantern head. It didn't even occur to me until much later that the name of the beer was not Sasquatch, but Sasquash. If you're as slow as me, it's a nice play on words that combines squash (pumpkin) with sasquatch (as in the mythical creature) into the name of this brew. I had a difficult time finding background information on this specific beer, but sources indicate it is made with both pumpkin and pumpkin spice. It is a Viena style lager that comes in at 6% ABV. Personally, I found it to have a light pumpkin flavor and it was a tad too bitter for my preference. The Sasquatch/Bigfoot may have achieved a legendary status, but this pumpkin lager is just okay . Doughboy_Food_Reviews My favorite Pumpkin Beers: 1. Southern Tier Pumking Imperial Ale 2. Saint Arnold Pumpkinator Imperial Stout 3. New Belgium Pumpkick Ale 4. Cold Brew Coffee Pumking Nitro 5. Jack-O Traveler Pumpkin Shandy

I ordered the turkey BLT and loved that it came on a buttery, flaky croissant--such a great touch that took the sandwich to the next level. That said, I tried the chicken katsu sandwich and it was seriously one of the best sandwiches I've ever had--perfectly cooked chicken, the flavors were on point, and the mayo? Everything. I came across a "new menu" on Google & was a little bummed to see it's no longer on the updated menu. I really hope they bring it back or I looked at an "old" or outdated new menu The ambiance was great--I sat in the front near the hotel, but the outdoor lounge area looked super cozy and inviting. I'd love to come back at night, when the string lights and fire towers are lit up I feel like the area would be even cozier and cuter The service was okay; I'm not sure if it's because we were sitting outside but it felt like we didn't get much service at all. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the vibe, and I'll definitely be returning.

They have happy hour from 4-6pm and it is a first come first serve basis, no reservations. The outdoor patio is very spacious with chairs, tables and couches which includes table service and great music vibes. Our waitress was very kind and tentative the entire night. They offer a seasonal cocktail menu in addition to appetizers, handheld soup, and salad and mains. They have a simple specialty cocktail list to choose from which I felt like, overall, was pretty basic compared to others i've seen in the city. Didn't love the cocktails we tried overall. However, we tried out the wings which were 10/10 very flavorful and affordable! You can get them buffalo or dry rubbed. We also got the beer battered cheese curds which are made with white cheddar cheese- they were amazing! (This is coming from a Wisconsinite too). The patio itself has a great overall ambience, especially on a nice evening. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a quaint, semi- hidden outdoor patio in the Walkers Point/Milwaukee area!
