They were packed and it was 130 pm no less. Our server went above and beyond for us because the app gives a free dessert when you sign up but for some reason it showed a charge. So after some figuring out ect we got it for free like the app stated. Server was so accommodating and helped us out tremendously because of it. Not many servers do that. The place itself is cute. I was not close to the bar or anything but it sounded like that area is the place to be. Restaurant bathrooms 10/10. We definitely will be back, driving from Kenosha is so well worth the money for delicious food.

We'd been to BJ's once before and had a 5 star experience, so decided to try it again yesterday,…read moreand I'm sorry to say that it was not a repeat performance. The first thing that put us off was the seating. The restaurant wasn't busy, as it was around 4 pm, and there was plenty of seating. I am temporarily and obviously handicapped, yet the host took us way to the back of the restaurant, up some stairs, and to an elevated booth - why, when seating was available at the front and others were seated there? Our booth's table hadn't been cleaned and the banquette on my husband's side had crumbs all over and a glop of wet ketchup. Our sodas came very promptly, and we ordered and it took perhaps 15 minutes for our food. My husband did like his burger, and it was cooked to order. The French fries, though, were dry and not hot, just barely warm. He also got a cup of coleslaw, which he took home. I had a house side salad, which was good, accompanied by a bowl of soup. The soup was tepid at best and had a skin already formed on the surface; it was also the wrong flavor. I had ordered chicken tortilla and got clam chowder. I asked for the right soup, and for it to be hot; after waiting for 7 minutes, it was delivered, but I once again received clam chowder! I like clam chowder, and as I didn't see the server, I just ate it, and it was good - and hot. But still. What struck us as being very unprofessional was a cluster of between 5 and 7 servers, all hanging around a table playing with their phones and talking and laughing loudly amongst themselves. That just didn't leave a good impression with us. And the coleslaw my husband took home? He decided to eat it after having it in the fridge at home a couple hours, and it had a rancid, sour, spoiled taste. Not going back to BJ's, for sure!!

Tosa Tavern regularly has tap takeovers from breweries all over the country. When they do, there are major discounts on some very hard to find beer. (We got a tulip of Dogfish Head 120 for $3.00 and were pretty sure someone was going to lose their job because of it!) The distributors always hang around to chat with you and provide some swag if you're enjoying one of their beers. The prices are insane on regular beers as well, and you're going to be hard pressed to find better prices on craft brews anywhere in town. Tosa Tavern also serves food and it's solid. They used to have loaded tots which were tater tots that were stuffed with amazingness inside the shell, but I think they moved away from that which is the saddest thing I've seen in awhile. Their sandwiches are good and their burgers are standard. They even have deals on their burgers and sandwiches on Thursday nights. As a bonus, you can literally buy anything in Whole Foods and eat it in the bar area. If you aren't feeling burgers, go grab a slice of pizza or food from their hot buffet or sushi and grab a beer. There's a couple of large tvs, charging ports under the bar, and trivia on Thursdays. As of right now Tosa Tavern is still pretty light on the attendance but I'm quite honestly hoping it stays that way. The only bummer is that they close at 9 pm when the actual store closes. So keep an ear out for last call or you'll be disappointed!

Small inside with maybe 10 seats at the bar and the rest of the chairs located near the lose your money machines. The people were friendly and consisted of 1/2 locals and 1/2 related to the owner. We were informed that the tap beer was out so all they had were bottles, but the prices were fair all the same. The décor was definitely Irish, guessing many a drunk folk have kissed the knight goodnight - ha!

The place has this medieval theme with a suit of metal and other pieces on the walls. The place has a small bar with a few tables, gaming machines etc. They have a unique shot game with numbered brown paper bags and a dice you throw which determines what you get, you have no idea of what you get and the bartender doesn't either. A 1 one a 6 on the dice gets you your choice of the brown bag and 2 through 5 you have to drink that bag. They also have a card game Tommy was playing with customers that I have never seen that people were excited to watch and in the end took $1 from the customer. Tommy was my bartender who knows how to pour a drink but didn't understand the gin Rickey and made it with a lemon after I told him twice how to make it, he promptly fixed that. The place is all regulars coming and going who don't live in the neighborhood because one guy lives in my neighborhood so people make the drive. Overall it's a unique dive bar with decent prices and friendly people.
