Our photographer was…read morefantastic, communicative, guiding us through poses, and well-prepared with tools to keep both our baby and dog engaged with the camera. BUT the administrative side and studio reliability are major issues. We actually should have seen the red flags on our very first visit when we came to book our appointment. No one was inside the studio, and another family was waiting outside. We let it go at the time, but the exact same thing happened at pickup. Since I had my baby with me and wanted to avoid driving over only to wait around, I called in advance to confirm someone was there and explicitly stated I was on my way. Yet when we arrived, the studio was locked and empty. We ended up waiting for quiet awhile for someone to show up. If staff needed to step out, basic courtesy and sound business practice dictate that you inform the customer on the phone. To top it off, no itemized receipt was provided. While the photographer did a wonderful job, the repeated unreliability and lack of consideration for customers' time mean we'll probably just go somewhere else next time.

I got…read moremarried October 2021 & we got our pictures almost a whole year after, like the end of September 2022 & the video they sent it days or a couple of weeks after the pictures. i couldn't help but to feel so disappointed in Jose's turn around time. I am not happy with my pictures to be honest...for the amount of time it took for us to get our pictures, I would think there would be photoshop/ editing of imperfections,people,background stuff etc. and there was none. We reached out to Jose a couple months after our wedding to check in, and see when we would receive our pics & video, and we kept getting the run around. I understand life happens, but I would also see him booking other photoshoots and just wondered when we would receive our pictures . We never got a sneak peak of our pictures either. We reached out a couple more times and as mentioned we would get push back/told to wait so we would, thinking he would come through. It wasn't until my husband messaged him telling him to reimburse us because it was taking too long, it took for us to send that message & Jose all of a sudden had our pictures ready. When I went through the pictures I was so disappointed. I felt like editing was rushed and noticed many things you think he'd edit out or fix. I think only the lighting on some pictures was adjusted because we asked for our money back, he just sent the pictures how they were or did a few lighting adjustments. Some pictures are darker than others. They took so long and I expected perfection thinking that because they took long he was really working on them smh. It's been 2 years since I've been married and just to put it out there I don't have any of my wedding pictures printed or hanging on my walls. And 2 years after I am still bothered over my pictures. I didn't even want to post or share my pictures on social media because it was a whole year after my wedding that I got them. We ended up booking a photographer out in Greece for our 1yr anniversary because I wanted a redo for my wedding pictures & although I am not in my wedding dress those are the ones I love & have up. We also had one engagement session with her about 3 months prior to our wedding weekend. We are so incredibly grateful and so happy with Alyssa's direction and creativity. Alyssa was an absolute joy to work with. She's so professional, efficient, talented, smart, and she knows how to given clear directions on posing which was much needed for us. She's very responsive, detail oriented, and has such a friendly personality which made her so fun to work with! I always felt empowered to step into and own my confidence when I was being guided by Alyssa's posing - this is a huge plus if you're not yet confident in front of the camera. The encouragement she displayed really helped me own it! Not to mention my husband and I both felt so calm on the day of our Friday church wedding and Saturday wedding & reception once we started our days with her. Engagement shoot (1.5 hrs): Alyssa knew exactly how we wanted our vision to be - we actually had done 2 engagement shoots with two different photographers prior to Alyssa and had little success with our previous wedding photographer. Alyssa understood we were gravitating to a more clean and classic style of photography. We were so happy with the results from our engagement shoot that we ended up using the photos for our details card in our invitation suite, our photo guestbook, and on a slideshow at our Saturday wedding! Friday Church Wedding Day (3 hrs): We had a church ceremony the day prior to our Saturday Ebell of Los Angeles wedding. Alyssa was so flexible in picking up these extra hours for us even though I had little timeline information for her. On the actual day of she was so helpful in helping calm any nerves I had and even tried helping my mom with her makeup. She's a jack of all trades! She was quick to help me with my veil and styling (jewelry and posing) as well. I'm so excited to see how the results turn out! At the church wedding itself Alyssa was very quick and kept to the schedule and timeline I gave her. We only had 45 min for our portraits, family, sponsor, and group photos. Alyssa gave clear direction to all of us and I know my family really enjoyed working with her. Saturday Ebell Wedding Day (9 hrs): We were so happy to see so many great sneak peeks the Tuesday after our Saturday wedding. Alyssa captured photos my husband and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. The photos are clean and filled with emotion and one of them is so creative (it's a photo of my husband spinning me in B&W). On the day of Alyssa was excellent in working with our families and our bridesmaids and groomsmen. She was so helpful all around (helping fix my dress and veil so it looks good for the shots) and she was also great working with our dog, Arwen. I am so impressed with our sneak peeks and I can't wait to use them for our Thank You cards and I already used them for Instagram and TikTok content. Alyssa helped get us back on schedule and made sure we were being effective with time and also timed the sunset photos for the best shots. We trust Alyssa so much and have so much faith in her artistic craft. We could not be happier with the great service Alyssa provides and we highly recommend her if you're in search for a wedding photographer.
