I called AAA and GKS was sent. I had a dead battery. the guy quoted a new battery plus install at $149.00+change. the guy was pleasant, we had good conversation. when I got home, checked the invoice, it was $200 more than quoted. I called and was told no refund. this place is full of liars and con artists. I reported to my cc company and AAA. hopefully they lose the contract with AAA. read more

Without a doubt the very worst service - or lack of service - I have experienced. Called AAA because my battery was dead - they dispatched GKS out of Glen Burnie - which took an hour and a half. The driver checked the battery and told me it was dead - which I knew - and offered to sell me a AAA battery - which are good batteries and well priced. He then told me it was $65.00 to install it because it was an Audi - even though the battery is very accessible. I told him I thought that was outrageous and asked to speak to his supervisor to have it waived since I've been a AAA Priemer member for 20+ years. He called and said he talked with his supervisor and they were sending someone else out and then left. 30 minutes later I called AAA and they said no-one else was dispatched, and that they had no-one else to dispatch. After 45 minutes on the phone with AAA I finally gave up, fortunately got a jump start and drove my car to Autozone where I got a better battery for less and they installed it for free. The GKS driver, an Indian fellow whose name I did not get, was extremely rude and unprofessional and outright lied to me. I highly recommend NEVER calling this company. read more

A Roadside Tech was dispatched to repair my flat tire through my triple A(AAA) Premier Service. My replacement was already out and available to be swapped w/the flat tire. I asked if the service vehicle could be moved out of the middle of the road so as not to obstruct traffic flow. He refused. I remained quiet waiting for him to repair the tire. He became argumentative as he wanted to continue discussing as I was not. He abruptly threw the spare back into my trunk and sped off w/out mention or repairing my vehicle. Given this level of poor and unprofessional service, and disrespectful treatment I would by no means give a recommendation or good review. I have expedited the complaint with Triple AAA and asked them to consider not allowing this company to carry their logo on any of their vehicles for their service request as it's not translative to the Triple AAA level of service or standards. This would have been a terrible experience if it were for my 80-year-old mother. read more

Not deserving of a star!!!! AAA sent this company to me as I'd sat for over an 90min on 50W when I was told 45min for someone to come change my flat. As I saw the truck pull up I was excited but that excitement quickly turned to trauma, headache, stress, disappointment that is going to now cost me $500 and my insurance company MORE!!! The Jack was placed underneath the front bumper and while I was behind my truck checking the flat tire for damages I saw my truck move and heard a strange noise, I assumed it was vehicle on Rt.50, not mine but when I looked up I saw the mechanic leaning up against the concrete barrier holding his hand so I dropped the spare tire and screamed for my daughter because I didn't see her. She then appeared with her mouth & eyes wide open as if she was in shock. I ran around to the front of my truck and looked her over, turned to the mechanic and asked if he needed 911, he said no, I looked at my truck and I said you're about to. My truck went from being jacked up to being on the ground & this man begged me not to file a complaint with AAA and to not file a claim with my insurance company. He wanted to fix my truck so bad, I told him don't touch anything, he was asked to put the tire on, that's it, don't touch my bumper, my fender or anything else, that's not how I work, he's taking care of my truck. Had a very bad experience with this tow company. Avoid this company at all cost!!! They wasn't able to tow my van in a very large long drive way, which numerous trucking company have done. we were quoted one price and when unprofessional driver came he was angry that we were quoted a price. When speaking with "The owner" he was very unprofessional as well and got smart when we were on the phone. They charge erroneous fees for overnight fees and then an after 5pm fee! When these crooks were upset about the price difference quoted from AARP they proceeded to raise the price from $125 to $220. I texted "the owner" that the lovely tow company Elite Towing had zero issues towing he told me "happy for you". This incident cost us $370 when was supposed to cost $125. Avoid them and call Elite Towing we even tipped the tow guy because we value doing business with professional company. Avoid these Glen Burnie crooks as all cost. read more

I was cut off 2 times by the same driver towing a white F150, almost causing major accident on 695N tonight, then he proceeds to do 40mph on the highway. Transmission went out on our truck while on the way to drop it off at the shop for repair. We were on the side of route 10. The driver got there quickly, made sure we were safe by putting his truck between road traffic and the other vehicle we were in. Awesome Service! I called AAA today because my 2007 Subaru wouldnt start. They sent out GKS and they were so super nice and so knowledgable. Replaced my old dead battery for at least half the cost not to mention the aggravation of going thru the whole process of going somewhere else. 10 minutes and he was thru! And then, next he says 2 of my tires were low which he proceeded to put air in them. All this and a good tip: $158! Sure hope they stay with AAA; had them for over 30 yrs, and they sure are worth the membership! read more

AAA contacts this company in my area. They could not load my car on their truck, and damage a small part on my front bumper. I called AAA to informed them of the situation while I waited on a different company to send a truck. GKS owner first called me, to give me a guilt trip. Told me that he will deduct it from his driver and he only make X amount of money an hour and has a family. I told him that as a company that seems unfair to his employees, and I can work with him to find the part they damaged for less on eBay or shopping around. Then I get a call from AAA saying that GKS towing said that the damage to my car was pre-existing and will not pay anything! That was very disappointing because I thought the owner of GKS was being a strait shooter with me. AAA is a great company, I just wished they did not contract GKS in my area, next time I will request a different company for service. I wish you luck if you use GKS. read more
