    Our family combo

Our family has been coming here for over 20 years! The owners are very sweet, always smiling when you walk in and are pleasant to speak with. They have a great variety of donuts from the classics to some new fun combinations (like a crumb cinnamon roll). They're donuts are soft, fluffy and full of delicious flavor. They're never stale, over cooked or lacking frosting. They have large flaky croissants with layered doughy center. They also have a fridge full of juices, waters and more! You can get some classics coffees and some other beverages. Lastly they sell a variety of lotto tickets. I highly recommend this family-friendly delicious donut shop that's been an Oak Park favorite for generations! I love bringing my kids to where I used to come as a kid.

This establishment is a little hidden gem. My boyfriend and I went there one day to buy lottery scratchers and to get smoothies. We now go at least once a week for a treat, since we live nearby. The breakfast bagel sandwiches are always yummy and a good deal. The doughnuts are always fresh and the smoothies and drinks are delicious. I love boba so I'm glad they can help me with my boba cravings. It's family owned, I believe and the people there are always so friendly. They always wish me luck in my lotto purchases and scratchers, and guess what, I've won! Give them a try, I think you'll enjoy both their goods and their friendliness.

Great experience and friendly people. They have a good menu for a donut shop-- I was able to get a bagel sandwich! I can't wait to go back and support the business. The donuts taste great!

My first time visiting Gladstone Donuts was great! The donuts are delicious! So many good things about this donut shop! First, the owner was friendly and welcoming. Second, there was plenty of donuts to choose from at noon on a Saturday. Third, they are very reasonably priced. Fourth, the donuts are amazing! We tried a bunch of different donuts and they all were fresh and soft/fluffy! The chocolate bar filled with chocolate chips was really tasty, the cake donut was not dry in the middle, and the old fashioned donut was not overly greasy. Everything was awesome. We look forward to trying other flavors and we will definitely be back!

It's becoming tradition that when I'm out on Saturday mornings on a garage sale my stomach grumbles for that sweet fried dough that is donuts! This past weekend the stomach grumbles occurred in the neighborhood of Oak Park (essentially Agoura Hills). My overall impression of Gladstones is that "looks can be deceiving". The donuts in the case look quite appetizing. The issue is that the donuts lacked any satisfying flavors. The chocolate bar and the maple donuts were dry and bland. I do appreciate a light tasting donut but I almost felt cheated after consuming the 2 donuts. The best way to describe it, I was unsatisfied... With calories being so precious, donuts are typically a special treat for me. It's unfortunate that the donuts at Gladstone's were disappointing. Maybe I got a bad batch or I was given a day-old donut. With that, a 1 star review didn't seem appropriate. Because I'm willing to give Gladstone's a 2nd chance I'll give it 2 stars.

Amazing! We barely eat/buy donuts as a lot of times it is a disappointment But this was so good! We had a Cake donut with peanuts and a donut with custard. Both were excellent! No disappointment at all. Friendly, good price, enough choice, fresh! And yummie.

Super nice people and great donuts! Conveniently allows for credit card purchases. The doughnut with chocolate chip filling was very good :)

We called ahead to put our names in. Big location, lots of seating. It gets loud and busy. Easy parking in a lot out front. We were a group of 12 and they amazingly were ok with splitting up our bills per couple. My bf and I split Brent's #13 (pastrami) and the Italian sub. Both come with sides - we got potato salad, fries, and onion rings. The portions are massive. The pastrami was really good and there was a nice amount of pastrami in the sandwich. Pickles and coleslaw come in the sandwich too. I'd say it's probably not great to save it as leftovers as the bread will likely soak up the liquid from the coleslaw. The steak fries were good. The Italian sub was huge! Hard to eat because the sandwich is stacked so tall. I added some Dijon mustard to the sandwich which was a nice addition and it was pretty good but I liked the pastrami more. I didn't actually love the onion rings that much. The breading they come in is really grainy and I didn't find them that tasty. Portions are huge so pace yourself; in hindsight we probably should have gotten one sandwich and maybe one smaller item. We both were in serious food comas all day after this meal. You pay up at the front when your waiter gives you the bill, right across from where they store epically large looking treats like massive slices of cake, cannolis, and cookies. They're fun to look at!

But it has progressively gotten worse and worse and way too expensive considering how "meh" it was. We called the night before to add one person to our table of seven. My husband corrected them twice on his name. When we showed up there the next day, they called my husband while we were there asking if we were showing up. Of course they called the wrong name! So we waited extra. When we finally ordered our food , it was not the Brent's we had come to expect. I ordered the grilled cheese I was craving for Mother's Day (it was excellent before) and it was smashed, cold and underwhelming. I didn't send it back, I should have but everyone looked extremely overwhelmed. We were also moved to accommodate a bigger party. We were not asked. We were told. That rubbed us all the wrong way. After this meal, my mother in law wanted challah, I felt like we were bothering them at the counter. The whole experience was disappointing and expensive and underwhelming. I don't think any of us will be going back any time soon.
