    Teriyaki Chicken Bowl
    Amber R.

Loving The Stand right now as it's the perfect spot for every member in my family to get what they want. My son usually goes for a cheeseburger and fries. My husband does a lettuce wrapped burger with alll the toppings and a side salad. My current obsession is the teriyaki chicken bowl, sub lettuce for rice and add pickled jalapeños. Bursting with flavor, so filling and totally nourishing - chefs kiss! Parking is plentiful, though the spots right outside the restaurant can get full. The restaurant itself is bright and spacious and there's a nice patio area as well. Great to stop in with the family or online order and takeout is a breeze.

Yum! I've been to the stand in Orange County, but decided to try this one on vacation. Yummmmm! My short rib grilled cheese was fantastic, with perfectly cooked meat, crispy onions, and the right amount of cheese. The fries were pretty good too. I recommend their ranch and bbq sauce for dipping, but I found their ranch was more of a garlic aïoli than a traditional ranch in texture and flavor. They have great outside and inside seating, though it was pretty busy seeing it was a Friday afternoon.

This is a most elevated burger experience! With their house made aiolis and the astounding variety of options you can feed everyone in the family. The salads are plentiful, the bowls are amazing with plenty of veggies-the seared 2.0 burger is over the top delicious. I keep returning to the southwest chicken burger, but the shroom havarti is also stellar. Fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings are ON POINT! They have Mac n cheese and nuggets for the kids, great service, a great variety of local beers on tap. This is no greasy spoon. This is a wonderfully elevated burger experience. You'll never want to go anywhere else for a burger.

Atmosphere is clean, staff is nice, and food is great! There's little wait time and tons of options for vegans, vegetarians, or people who are gluten free. The chicken club was great and they have a large variety of sauces, as well as free pickles to snack on :)

My family and I have been here twice already and both times have been freaking amazing! Hands down some of the best burgers we've ever had. We've tried the ABC Burger, chili fries, chips & guacamole, Onion Stack, and Jalapeño Burger. All the burgers were cooked perfectly to our preferences. First bites and it was heavenly. The fries on the chili fries were crispy and the chili complimented it nicely. Seriously, if you're looking for a fantastic burger and great service. The Stand is a must try.

I came back for a second time and the kids crispy chicken bites were a hit with the mini-me. Everything was as good as last time, except the chips and guac are not as good as the chili fries, but still good. This time I had the Onion Stack burger, just to try something different though I was craving another jalapeño burger. The Onion stack did not disappoint. Odd to say this considering I also had onion rings, but I can't stand the taste of onions. Thankfully, the onion strings in this burger made it more of a western bbq burger and less of an onion anything. My only complaint is that the onion rings were soft. They weren't bad, tasted alright, but not what I look for in onion rings. I like more crunch and less onion in the onion ring, but again these were ok. Based off this experience I'd say it was 4 stars, but still reminiscing about the jalapeño burger I'm keeping the review at 5. Well that's this critic's review. Until next time, I'll be eating.

We love The Stand! Our large party of 11 was easily seated at the ample outdoor tables! We all got something different, burgers, salads, sweet potato fries, shakes, and everyone loved everything! There is a variety of sauces to try so make sure to take advantage of that! The southwest chicken salad was SO good that I didn't think I would be able to finish it, but I did! I've had the wrap as well on a previous visit and it was also so fresh and a great mix of flavors! The employees were really nice and helpful. It just took a long time as the line moves slowly.

First time here and glad we did. After church, we were starving so we all got burgers, fries, onion rings and a drink. They have an extensive menu so we'll be back to try other burgers, sandwiches, salad bowls and the sauces they offer with it. The group enjoyed their Harvarti mushroom and lettuce wrap burger, everyone was happy so it was a win win.

I have good things to say about the food quality salads , burgers .The place is well lit plenty of seats indoors and outdoors and plenty of parking . But... second time I pay extra for cheese and french fries and they don't put them in . So quality control needs work guys! And if you're the customer take a moment and check your order for missing items since this happened twice now .

Walking up feels like stepping into a 90s time capsule in the best way possible. Classic diner vibes, no frills, just hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches and sides. The owners are incredibly kind and efficient, as everything is cooked fresh to order. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating so I grabbed a table outside to soak up that sunshine. Here's what I ordered: Chili Cheese Dog: (upgraded to the Hebrew National) 10/10. Having tried both of their hotdogs, definitely get the Hebrew National over the regular one. It's bigger and more flavorful in my opinion. This thing was loaded. Flavorful chili, melty cheese, and fresh diced onions, all tucked into a perfectly grilled hot dog roll. This is definitely the dog to get if you're torn between all of the options. Street Dog: A bacon wrapped dog with ketchup, mayo and mustard and veggies (I customized mine a bit so opted out of the onion and jalapeño). If you're a fan of bacon wrapped hot dogs, this is always a solid choice too. Pro tip: These hot dogs are HUGE. I was not prepared. One would've easily done the job so next time I'm just grabbing one and adding a side of onion rings because they looked incredible. Overall a very satisfying lunch for under $20 for two dogs and a soda. Great to have a long standing hotdog restaurant in the 805.

It sits between a fir & knife dog and a grab it and eat it dog. The fries were simple but good, and my Crush Orange fountain drink was just as expected. They also handled a to-go order for my dad seamlessly while we were eating. It was neatly packed and ready to go without any delay. I've also ordered from Lucky Dog through DoorDash in the past, and that experience was great as well (photo from this). Overall, Lucky Dog is a reliable and enjoyable spot for a classic hot dog meal.

Stopped by on a Saturday for lunch and picked up the downtown dog. Got in around 1:30pm and walked right up to place my order. SO SAD - Dog Haus decided to change their menu as a whole company nationwide and I don't know if it…read morereally satisfies us the way it used to. Dog Haus is known as an American craft-casual restaurant that's famous for their gourmet hot dogs and sausages all served on Hawaiian bread rolls. However, the new menu eliminated a good amount of their reputation! They sell smash burgers and grilled chicken, but it's called Dog Haus. The menu no longer has items like the spicy Italian, smoked apple sooo veggie sausage, chicken-mozzarella, and curried Thai Fighter wurst. Now, they highlight their normal hot dog and pork sausage - that's it. They used to sell their gourmet and different flavor combination sausages and bratwurst, but now they don't. It's turned into a restaurant like Sonic (but without the fun desserts and drinks) and Shake Shack (but at least Shake Shack has shakes.) They lost their uniqueness. Other than the company decision, which was probably the wurst business move, they also did not communicate clear enough to their employees because everyone at this location seemed to be over it. The guy at the cash register was incredibly annoyed that we didn't automatically understand that onion rings obviously aren't on the menu like before and onion strings are the new thing and what the differences are. We're sad because we really liked this restaurant and location, but it's not worth the food that's now pretty basic at most other American restaurants. Having smash burgers as a hot-dog place vs. selling hit smash burgers at somewhere like Fat Sal's where they're known for that is a bit different. Additionally, the customer service was NOT it. I asked for a water cup and was very disappointed to see that even after running the water for a few seconds, the water was still pink and not clear. When we got our food, our onion rings now onion strings were one of the saddest "shareables" side on their menu. They were limp, oily, hard to eat, and definitely not the move. We ordered entrees and weren't too impressed now that the dogs were normal, as well. Ambiance wise - they have seating inside, some seating outside, and inside have a tv where things like the FIFA World Cup play on a big screen.

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

Food came out fast, which was great. The hamburgers showed up a little lukewarm... like they had just finished a light jog instead of a full workout. Bathroom was clean, which already puts this place ahead of a surprising number of establishments. We sat at the bar, and the redheaded bartender was awesome -- super nice, accommodating, and honestly carrying the VIP energy of the evening

Food came out pretty slow but there's plenty of garlic rolls to supplement the wait. It seems that the wait for food is always the same regardless of capacity so don't come if you're starving. Got brisket sliders which were pretty good, our 2 classic burgers were both medium rare, despite one being ordered medium well. Like a large pink center, but it's fine. The bbq salad is so good though, the perfect mix of bbq meat and fresh lettuce that complements perfectly. The sliders are good but a bit boring, they have a lunch special where it's 2 sliders and a side/soup but I feel they wouldn't be as fulfilling as the other items on the menu for a similar price. Garlic rolls are so soft and buttery. I think our server's name was Jaqueline? So sorry if I'm getting this wrong, but she was managing at least 5 tables from my POV, but she checked on us regularly! Our waters were never empty and everything was great!
