Hands down my favorite lunch place. The food is amazing, always hits the spot and reasonably priced. I've been coming with my co-worker for years. She is a very picky and particular eater and she loves it here. And it usually the only time I see her eat her whole plate of food. Gladstone Market is our favorite local place by far! We only discovered it in October of 2013 and have been back many times.....sometimes twice in one week. Staff couldn't be any better, excellent service and always with a smile. From salads and pizza to eggplant parmesan and other baked pasta dishes, we have never been disappointed! Awesome place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We go often on the weekends for breakfast. Eggs, potatoes, side of vegetables (fresh and crisp) and sausage are tasty as expected. In the summer we enjoy sitting out in the back. It's a great little seating area right next to river. They have sometimes life music. Owner and Staff are very friendly. Service is fast. And the specials for dinner are delicious. I had the grilled octopus over pasta with spinach last week. Very good. The shrimp and scallops over spaghetti tasted super fresh which I had last night. First stopped in the new and improved Gladstone Market one morning to meet my mother. I ordered a Ham, Egg, and Cheese breakfast roll which was very good, but nothing to write home about. Went with my family the other night for dinner and I ordered a large pepperoni and fresh garlic Stromboli at the recommendation of one of the employees. I ordered the large not knowing the portion sizes for dinner selections and WOW was it very large indeed! More than enough for everyone else in my family to have a large piece and still leave me with far more than I could eat. It was the best Stromboli I've ever had by a long shot and growing up in the New York metropolitan area I've had many a Stromboli. Great prices, especially for the portion given and the service was very friendly. The cook did come out of the kitchen to ask if we enjoyed our meal. I'm looking forward to trying the Calzone given the quality of the Stromboli. I wish a great future upon this little gem and maybe I'll even head over there tonight. I will note that my parents were more than satisfied with their meals, but my brother did not seem to enjoy his Cheesesteak very much that being said he mostly ate my Stromboli and given the portion size I wasn't bothered in the slightest by having to share, I mean there were leftovers after all the sharing and I got a whole second meal out of it the next day.
