I've been coming here for hair cuts/treatments regularly now and I love it! Vicky is really attentive and sweet. I'm always very pleased with how my hair turns out. She listens to what you want and will do only what you are comfortable with. This past Saturday I went in to get my hair cut short for the summer. Vicky noticed that I was a bit hesitant and nervous so she suggested that she cut it a little bit longer than what I might want and we'll just trim it down after, if or when I feel comfortable. First off, Jackie is freakin' amazing. I followed her from her previous location because of the outstanding service that I always received, so if she wasn't there, you better believe I wouldn't be either. Her new space is amazing, super clean and everything is up to date, including her laser machine. She's great at putting people at ease during the laser procedure. She also thoroughly informs all of her clientele about what to expect with lasering (don't be in the sun, use SPF, etc.) Jackie is also an honest business woman (unlike some laser places who swindle rather than help), suggesting electrolysis for some of my problem areas as opposed to more laser sessions that she knows will not achieve the results I want. Overall, the laser results have been great, definitely a significant reduction from what I had before to nearly nothing in the treated areas. I love it! Also, I hate seeing people complain about things without being INFORMED. Laser is a procedure not to be taken lightly, research it before you COMPLAIN. Yes, it hurts, but so does waxing. Yes, it's better for certain people than others. Do your research and compile some questions to ask Jackie, she will answer them completely and honestly. read more

So far I've had 3 sessions, and I literally saw improvement within ONE! because the face is such a hormonal area, I was advised to do 6-10 sessions. I am on my third session of treatments for laser hair removal and I am really happy with the results so far. Both times I have been here I have felt very comfortable and happy with the procedure. It isn't 100% painless, but the nurses are very skilled with the laser and do their best to make sure I am feeling comfortable. The laser has a steady air stream that keeps the skin cool, so that helps reduce pain. I bought a voucher for Brazilian Blowout to GLAM Studio. It was fairly quick to make an appointment so that went smoothly. I do wish I read the reviews on him more thoroughly. I thought Jackie was the one who does them but she doesn't. The girl who did my hair was Russian or Armenian (I think all of them at this place are one or the other). She wasn't particularly friendly and she answered her cell phone regularly while working on my hair. I will say though that she spent 2 hours on my hair which I appreciate because I have had BB where they have only taken 45 minutes where you leave knowing, hey that's not right! She did though really pull my hair when using the flat iron. The receptionist who was friendlier though also pissed me off. She asked me if she could see a picture of what my hair looked like before. I thought she was just curious. It ended up being that she wanted to take my picture for a before and after to show how fucked up my hair was before. I told her nope. I think it's rather rude to just ask clients that. They should be upfront and say "Hey, do you have any interest in letting us do a before and after picture of your hair and return you get 25% off?" or something of that nature. Also I know a lot of you said parking was easy. It wasn't for me. It's pretty much 1 hour parking on the little residential street. Further down there are no restrictions but it was packed with cars. They do have a parking lot that is easy to miss so I just parked there. Since my BB my hair is okay. It wasn't one of the better BB I've gotten but it wasn't one of the worst either. She's the only hairdresser who can give me the big curls, volume and high side bang (AKA porn star hair) look that I've been wanting. Horrific. When I first arrived the stylist was 20 minutes late, running around, texting on her phone, and insisting I brush my own hair. I should have walked out then and there. Instead, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because what I needed done was so minor! My bad. She butchered my hair. Yes, I do mean absolutely butchered. I went to have my roots touched up and my layers trimmed. I will emphasize again: touched up, trim. She took off two inches wet and turned my roots orange. My hair went from resting past my shoulders dry to large, uneven layers dry up past my chin! My hair is also a cinnamon, it's nowhere near bright, red-orange. Of course, she remembered to pull the roots through so the orange went everywhere, too. Where did this orange come from? Well, I went to another salon to have things fixed; they said the stylist at Glam sampled a highlight for the roots and then left the color on far too long on top of this. They also had to fix the cut she gave me at Glam as it was so uneven and fried! I had to spend another 150 to get this re-done on top of the 100 plus at Glam. No refund from Glam, they insisted I come back and allow this person to touch my hair again. NO thanks. A very expensive lesson to learn. read more

I'll start with the fact that service is always wonderful- the ladies behind the counter are very sweet and accommodating. I've come here for laser in the past & I wish I had come sooner! My first visit to this studio (and my frequent visits) are because of my hair stylist. I've followed my hair stylist to four different salons in the valley. Sirush, has been taking care of my hair for over a decade, and she is a gem. I've been to many many different salons for a quick blow dry when she's not available, and I always leave dissatisfied. Nothing compares to Sirush's blow dry! Anywhere else my hair takes over 45 minutes- closer to an hour. After my hair is blown dry, most stylists will then iron my hair. I leave Sirush in 30 minutes and no iron is needed- every strand is perfectly straight without it. Sirush is also wonderfully fast and efficient in dying hair & I recently was gifted a Brazilian BlowOut with her (from hubby) and I love the fact that I can shower, let my hair air dry, and leave home without tying it or putting products in my hair. I have been going to Glam for laser hair removal and have had amazing results. I purchased a Groupon package for six treatments on my bikini area and have had minimal hair from the first treatment. I had my underarms done at a different place but even after five treatments and several touch-ups, I still had quite a bit of hair. Although annoyed that I still had to shave on a regular basis, I didn't think much of it because I know laser hair removal isn't 100%. I decided to have a touch-up done here... and the hair is mostly gone to where I haven't had to shave! The reason for four stars is ambiance. My nurse hasn't been rude, I've just had a hard time connecting with her and being made to feel comfortable, especially considering the sensitive and private area I'm having treated. All modesty is out the window as she watches while I undress and get on the table/chair and again after when I hop off and put on cream - but you could also say what does it matter if she's all up in there anyways. read more
