My first round of trials actually took place in preparation for our engagement photo shoot. The makeup was on point, so natural and flawless. The photos came out beautiful and the hair was exactly how I imagined it would be. We had a follow up trail to work out the details for the BIG day hair. In true fashion, my hair would not cooperate. Marisa was so patient and had a plan, we tried again at another trial appointment, and VIOLA! She had changed her approach and choice of tools and figured out exactly how best to curl my hair for the look and all day hold I would need. As a side note, she is great about making notes for day of execution so all the time in between trials and the big day don't impact the end result. The big day was finally HERE! Hien was the only point of contact and so all questions were directed to her for both hair and makeup. I scheduled my trial with her on the day of my engagement photo shoot and LOVED how my makeup turned out. She assesses how comfortable you are with makeup and asks what your preferences are so that she can get a sense of what would be most suitable. I really appreciated that she provided suggestions on what to do if I were to cry or if my skin got oily. By the end of the day, my makeup still looked great despite sweating a little from running around on the beach. On the day of the wedding, she came on time at 7AM and set up all of her things very quickly. Hien and Metzli did HMU for my mom, the groom's mom, and myself. They were able to finish hair and makeup for all three of us by 10AM as promised, and everyone was very happy with their look. My mom even said that her makeup looked better compared to when she had her makeup done for my brother's wedding a few years ago.
