Replying to their reply. I was being NICE in my previous review, but claiming I'm Being dishonest isn't going to get you anywhere. Post the camera recording, because you're the one lying. I am being 100% honest. Why would I lie? In the recording you can clearly see how bulky and thick the gel was laid on, and she clearly didn't even them out. You can clearly see how rushed she was. You can clearly see how she was burning my finger tips under the UV light after I told her several times that it was hurting me. You can clearly see how unkind she was. And when I asked her to even out the nails, she still didn't do it. If you think this is great work, then I don't know that to tell you. But everything I shared is straight facts, 100% no lies. Very unprofessional. And I was still kind enough to leave a tip, not a generous one, but I left one. A generous tip woulda meant I loved the service and nails. Did a walk in & got Lee (I believe that was his name) as my nail tech. He absolutely DELIVERED! A month prior I had a horrible experience at another local nail shop, so I'm extremely grateful for this service. When I spoke up about the shape, the color of the nude base, etc, he addressed all my concerns & corrected my nails accordingly. I think the sanitary practices could be improved, but honestly for it being a shop there's only so much you can expect. Which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. I came here for a pedicure and had a very unsafe experience. The nail tech made my toes bleed at the beginning of the service, and instead of stopping or acknowledging the issue, they kept pushing me to continue. Broken skin increases the risk of infection, and I was extremely uncomfortable with how dismissive they were about it. This should have been handled with proper sanitation, care, and transparency. This is my second visit. I went in without an appointment on a Friday morning right before 10:30 they get super busy. They were already six people getting pedicures and they took me right away. I was there for less than an hour. I asked for them to take all the gel binder off, and I was so happy that my nails were still healthy and strong. 5/29 I came in here to pick up my AirPods that I forgot at the establishment. They said they don't know where it's at, but I could look around. Totally fine with me. I ended up pulling up the tracker on my phone, and used it to find my to see where they were at. They ended up being in the back and not in their lost and found box. I guess they thought I didn't understand Vietnamese, because she was trash talking me the entire time. She said "this is the b*tch that wrote a 1 star review, how dare she come back and try to get her AirPods." Uhhhh, they're my AirPods? Of course I'm going to come back and get them. The entire time she kept cursing in Vietnamese, yet I kept quiet. She is unprofessional. I wouldn't have came back to your salon if I didn't forget my item there. Also - she's claiming that she helped me look for them yet they didn't help me at all. The only reason why I found them was because of my tracker. Support business that respect individuals despite their opinions. And don't harass people. Weird and unprofessional. I came in for a polygel full set, and a gel pedicure. I also mentioned before hand that l'd do a design. The pedicure was atrocious. The pedicure includes a massage, and l never received that. Additionally, the paint job looked like a toddler did it. I informed the pedicurist that I did not like how the polish was, and she kept insisting to paint an additional coat. I mentioned to her that additional polish wouldn't do anything, it would make a difference. It was sloppy, and had to be redone. She then tells her boss, and they ended up making me wait to get my toes repainted while they prioritized walk ins. Additionally, I showed them the design that I wanted and they said ok. Afterwards, they told me to return back tomorrow to get my design done. There is no reason for an establishment to lie about having the time to do something just to gain a client, and then backtrack and say that they don't have time. If you didn't have time initially, be honest about it instead of lying to the customer. I'd never return back to this establishment. I ended up, leaving without getting my toes repainted and just paid for the services. The lady who did my nails did a great job, it's more so the boss who doesn't know how to properly manage an establishment. Lastly, be mindful of how much they're charging you. I got a polygel SHORT set, yet they charged me $65 when it says $55 on the website. Dishonest. read more

I had gel X nails applied on Saturday, but the next day, I had to return for repairs on several nails. I couldn't get assistance because I hadn't scheduled an appointment, even though the work was subpar. I even mentioned I was considering removing and redoing the nails. I thought the technician would agree that they were poorly done, but I must say she was as friendly as possible and tried to help. The black gel nails started peeling the day after, which is unusual. I would not recommend this salon if i could give 0 stars I would. I got my nails done here, and the very next morning they already started lifting. I often find myself questioning whether it's worth continuing to visit nail salons when I'm capable of doing my nails myself. I suppose part of me is still hoping to find a salon that delivers a noticeably better result at a faster pace, but I haven't come across one that justifies the pricing. Charges such as $15 additional for gel polish when gel is the main thing people get, $6 for hardening gel on one toe to prevent a nail from breaking midway, and $8 for cat eye gel feel excessive ($23 total for gel?!), especially when the quality and application don't align with the cost. I don't even want to get into how inexpensive gel is. I'm just going to start saying no. These places are becoming scams for mediocre work. During my recent visit, I was particularly disappointed that a technician was assigned to perform a cat eye gel service but was unable to execute it properly. I recently moved to downtown Bellflower in February and decided to try this salon due to its convenient location. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. While my toes were acceptable.. sigh, just okay, the polish application was too sheer despite selecting a dark gray shade (#84). Then my nails, my nails were a disaster. I had to return to have my nails redone. It improved the color, but they no longer match my toes. Although I was offered a small discount, it did not feel proportionate to the inconvenience and overall experience. Ultimately, while I appreciate the effort to correct the issue, I left feeling disappointed, especially since the quality did not reflect the pricing. I will likely seek services elsewhere moving forward. read more
