I could never recommend this place. Very dirty--I was there first thing in the morning, and nail clippings were all over the floor. And don't even glance under the nail station! They must sweep the clippings under them--it was disgusting. My nail tech pulled the implements right out of the drawer. Obviously not sanitary. The employees not working were sitting around chatting when they should be cleaning. I personally witnessed one employee cleaning her ear pods with a nail file which she put back in the drawer. I was a frequent flyer here until I found a place closer to home. I've never had an issue here. Always nice. Never have waited very long. They always seem to get me in quickly and do a nice job. I went to Glamour Nails Facebook page and their posts are all of intricate nail art. Unfortunately when I went for a pedicure and asked for a simple flourish on my toe (very simple, a few individual lines), I was told no one there could do it. This is despite nail art being specifically listed on their pedicure menu at $5 extra per nail. In addition to the lack of capability, the gentleman who did my (very basic) pedicure rushed through the service, getting polish on my skin and not cleaning it. There were streaks in my polish due to uneven application. I went from thinking I could get a decent service to them not being able to manage a very basic service. My fiancée's sister had a nice lady but she was rough with her and not gentle at all. I had Kenny and he was not nice. He was rude and lacked good customer service and experience. I went in today for a simple shellac change. My nail tech Jessica rushed through the whole thing from start to finish. She wouldn't get off of her phone and would continue grinding at my nails while looking at her phone which caused her to rip up in to my skin several times. When it came time to put the first polish on, she applied it so horribly I could feel it on the tips of my fingers. She then finished painting them and realized the tips of my nails weren't smooth from the first file. So she begins to clip the ends with a cuticle trimmer and cut deep into my skin on the corner of my nail. Then on the other hand, she sliced through my skin on my middle finger with a nail file. She just laughed and said, "sorry I got your skin." I hate complaining about services so I just paid and went on my way. My fingers have still not stopped throbbing so I thought I'd call and just let them know that this happened and that I was unhappy. The person I spoke to was Peter. When I explained to Peter what had happened, he basically called me a liar by asking me how this could have happened when I just came in for a shellac change. I explained that the nail techs always file the nails down and trim them and he still wouldn't listen to me. All I was politely asking for was a reimbursement. Finally he said all he could do was reimburse me $10 or give me a $25 credit for next time. (WHY WOULD I WANT TO COME BACK?) He very rudely told me that's all he could do for me and when I came in he wanted to see my nails. I will NOT be going back to Glamour Nails. Waste of money and time. read more

I came in today expecting to get my current full set removed and a new set put on with gel polish. I was called back and when I was explaining what I wanted, a full set with a French manicure, my nail tech said to me "that will take a very long time!" They didn't seem very busy and there wasn't any one else in the waiting area. I told her she could just remove the old nails and I would come back another day to have new ones put on. She started ripping the old acrylics off with a nail clipper and then shoving a tip underneath them to separate the acrylic from my natural nail. I was noticing how bad my nails looked with all the ridges in them from her removing them the way she was and asked if we could just polish my natural nail so they would at least look presentable when she asked "are you sure you want to do that? She (and pointed to the lobby) is waiting for me." It was very uncomfortable and after she got a few off I said to her "this is very uncomfortable and hurts pretty bad. Can we please soak them off" she got very aggravated with me but said she would move me to another station to soak. She started removing the polish from the nails and trimming down the length she then said "soaking takes too long" and continued to pry the fake nails off all the while acting very put out by the whole situation. My nails are completely torn up and all very sore. I am not happy at all with her costumer service and I have never been in pain after getting my nails removed. OK I'm not one to complain or leave bad reviews or anything like that but the service I got today at Glamour nails and Crestview Hills town Center was absolutely appalling. I showed the nail tech what I want it done to my nails he said OK he started doing my nails and they off the bat did not look right I kept my mouth shut just kept telling myself OK they look better When they are finished, I wanted my ring finger to be an accent nail with glitter and he chose a glitter didn't give me the choice it wasn't even a glitter I showed him in the picture and I kept asking if I could see different color glitters and he kept saying no. After all that I was speechless about how horrible my nails looked I went back to try To get them fixed or to get my money back and I was treated horribly I was called names I had money thrown at me the man who did my nails took the Dremel and literally drilled a hole through every single one of my finger nails not even takeoff the tips or the nail polish. My nail bed hurt so bad on every single finger and he purposely did that to me because he was cussing me out while he was doing it. He was not professional in the slightest nor was the owner or the manager I'm not even sure who I spoke to first because they wouldn't tell me just an awful all around experience. I'm not sure what I could have done differently about the situation but it escalated with his name-calling degrading behavior and throwing money at me and telling me to get the fuck out with many other names before it. Having been to many different nail salons in the northern Kentucky area, I felt compelled to write a review. I work with a lot of people who recommended this salon, so I went there for the first time this week. Was impressed with the cleanliness and organization. I was greeted at the door (a first good impression), got my color picked out and was seated with Kenny within minutes. Not much of a talker, but that's not why I'm there. I've never had a beautiful color change on my gel nails done as quick and professional! A couple TV's in the salon to have something other than the wall to look at. I didn't have a pedicure, but there seemed to be plenty of big chairs in the back of the salon accommodate. Will definitely be back! read more

This review really makes me sad. I waiting almost 4 weeks to get my fill. I had spent that time filing and shaping my nails perfectly into my desired shape. Each week I would alter it slightly until the nail had grown out a lot, I had to really file down the sides of my nails, not the edges, to get rid if the bulkiness squarish shape. Ok so I go to Peter, mind you I have been going to his salon (glamour nails) for the over 7 years. I have spent thousands of dollars I'm sure. I have ALWAYS tipped well and more importantly I've been pleasant even when I've had to wait an hour. When I came it it was 2:20 pm, he told me to come back at 4:00. So I did. He took me at 4:15. No biggie. I showed him the simple shape I wanted which is just a streamlined squarish shape called a ballet nail. Not even complicated. I had my nail already shaped like that. He glances at it (photo) says nothing. Goes about filing my nails and disregards the shape and covers it with acrylic to make my nails a wide square again. I wanted to cry. I said nothing. And the kicker is I'm not even upset about that. It was his RUDE attitude. Like he used to be so nice and just go out of his way to be friendly. Now he acts so incredibly rude. He have it a half hearted attempt to shape my nails correctly and it was not right. I asked if he had matte top coat, he said yes, but put on shiny, I still said nothing. Maybe miscommunication. I was out of his hair by 5:50. The price for a fill was 18. I gave him 25. He just Took it and said NOTHING!!! No thank you nothing. So at this point when I left, I was like screw it I'm just going to be kind. I said goodbye and thanked him and he just said "ya", Maybe he read my previous review and was not happy. Maybe he was having a bad day. But it was clear that he didn't want to do my fill. He asked kind of annoyed as to where I had heard of this shape. I answered that it is everywhere in LA and NY and if you travel like I do it's pretty common. He acted like I was crazy. Hahah ok man. After being a customer of 7 years I think I will invest my money and time in a salon that stays up on nail fashion and if I can't find one of those I'll find someone friendly. On a side note I will tell you that Miley does an excellent pedicure. If she's working have her do your feet. If you can not wait have Yen do your feet. Trust me on this. I have been here a few times. They have a lot of workers and if I need something done quick, I stop here. I never have great experiences, but come back because its convenient. I went today because I was given a gift certificate as a gift, and needed my nails done. I wasn't expecting anything great, but didn't realize it would be so bad. She rushed me to pick a shellac color (I had only been looking for 3 minutes & there's a lot of choices) I chose a color and sat down. I was going to do just polish but thought to treat myself to the whole manicure, thinking it would be more than filing & a penny size portion of lotion on each of my hand that I paid $10 extra for. She then used a tool on my pinky, where it felt like she was digging skin from under my pinky. I saw blood & was just down right mad. That's so wrong! I paid 10 extra for her to make me bleed, and then put a liquid on it that made it sting. That was 5 hours ago & my pinky still hurts to move. The lack of customer service is evident & I won't be back. I wish there was a choice for 0 stars. Thank you. I really wanted to like this place. Close to work, my home, and apart of a shopping complex I frequent. However, the workmanship is lacking. I first visited little under two weeks ago for an SNS manicure. Although the technique is not brand new, it is gaining popularity and I was happy to see it offered here. This set of nails were perfect when they were complete. I was curious about the top coat being completed with a gel top coat and cured under the UV light but thought nothing of it when I saw the finished product. I was very satisfied and planned to come back. However, within two days the top coat began to chip. First on both thumbs and then across each nail. By the end of my first week I had chips and breaks on all of my nails. This past Monday, I stopped by the salon after work to ask that they be prepared, suspecting the gel top coat was the culprit. I was told to come back any time the next day as person who did my nails the first time was not present. After work I returned, waited an additional thirty minutes and then the original nail tech came over to examine my nails. There was no apology of any kind. I picked out a new color and was eventually called to her station. The finished product is beyond disappointing. The color on my nails is definetley not the color I requested. My nails feel rigid to the touch and not smooth. The color is dull and opaque. The application of the powder is clearly uneven as the resulting cover is not the uniform across each nail. I asked repeatedly if the color I requested was the color on my nails. The nail tech spat a number back at me each time. The first set had an overlay feel while these feel like a few coats of nails polish. Lastly, after my nails dried under a fan for 5 minutes, I saw the final product and asked the tech if my nails were in fact done. She replied yes and suggested that I rubbed my nails against something. A smudge on one finger would not result in the mess that I now have on my hands. I will not be back. I suggest everyone keep their distance from this place. read more

I wish this was a better place since it near my house but it stinks. Workers are fast but sloppy. I had to tell mine that there was polish on my skin and around my nails. She put really thick gloppy layers on that never dried. All but two of my nails are smudge a nod my thumbs nails have completely smudge and peeled. Place is cheap and you get what you pay for. The guy who did them kept picking out tips that were too small for my real nails, he made my fingers bleed 2x, he cut them shorter than I asked him too, my cuticles are all messed up, my nails are very slanted and for some reason, when I put my hand under his light it burnt me. Used to love this place but it's gotten so bad. The last few times I've had not great experiences but today was the last straw. I waited over an hour while people who came in after me got to go in front of me. After asking about it twice I finally got helped. They skipped me and threw away the sheet with my name on it. Once finally being helped the guy kept getting up to do other things. I was left to sit and my nails took twice as long as they should of. I said I did not want tips added to my nail but hw did anyway. He kept saying it would look better. I didn't want them yet didn't respect me saying no and still had to pay for them. My nails cost 15 dollars more than normal and I got the same thing as always. After leaving my nails are no so sore! I'm not sure what he did that made my nails so sore. They look good but not worth the hassle or the price. Or disregard for what I actually wanted. I will not be back. So sad because they used to be my absolute favorite. read more

I did read the previous reviews but I decided to go thee anyways and it was not what I expected in a good way. They really fixed up their act it was very fun and relaxing. I got a pedi and a mani and a young lady did them for me she was very nice and we had a lovely conversation. I got a regular OPI polish and I believe the color was Cajun Shrimp not really sure. It was very clean and kid friendly as I saw. They had little pedicure chairs for the children and they were so cute. Most of the workers were very nice and friendly. But sadly they only had cash tip but there was an ATM next door so it worked out fine I believe my bill was around $45 and that decent for what I got little pricy but it was worth it. I definitely recommend this place and come again. read more

I went here regularly for my acrylics a couple of years ago and it wasn't the greatest, but not bad. I recently went back again to have nails put on. I asked for pink & white and when I noticed she wasn't using it I let her know. She said OH, you can get it next time. Next time I came in I mentioned it and they wanted to charge me for a full set so I just got a fill in and airbrushed tips. I didn't make it out of the parking lot before realizing half of the whites were not white enough - you could see very obvious spray lines. When I went back in to have it fixed she did but complained that it was my fault for having polish underneath it, and then hurredly repainted over the existing tips and walked away from the table without a word. I noticed those were "lumpy" when I went out to my car but it wasn't worth going back in. I will not be back. read more

I gave this nail salon two chances. Both times I got a mani/pedi with poor service and unsatisfying massages (even though I upgraded the pedi). On my first experience, my shellac french manicure chipped at home on the same evening. I returned the next day to have it fixed only to have to wait 1.5 hours (while other customers walked in and were taken back for service). I got upset after waiting so long and was told by someone that they needed proof of my visit (I didn't have the receipt and they didn't have their visitor log for that specific day). She yelled at me saying "how do we know you won't complain again if someone fixes it?" No one wanted to fix my manicure because they wouldn't make money off it and the person who did my manicure wasn't going to be available for another 30 minutes! After waiting for a while longer, another associate left his customer to help me and kept apologizing to me for the issue and said the manager was not there today otherwise this never would have happened. I loved the ambiance of the salon and their color options so I returned a few months later. The polish stayed on great but the chrome finish started chipping the next day! Unfortunately, I'm afraid to return to get it fixed and get yelled at again. I'm disappointed I gave them my money twice for a manicure that didn't last beyond 48 hours. I had a very good experience here today, my first time in. Took my 8 year-old daughter and myself in for regular mani-pedis. The techs we had were very friendly and the polish jobs were great. My daughter liked the bear shaped chairs and got to watch a DVD while she was having her toes done. I went here last Thursday for a pedicure and to have my nails painted (no manicure). This was the worst pedicure I have ever received. The nail tech cut both of my big toes at the cuticle, never apologized, which looks awful a week later. My friend's pedicure started before mine and I finished 10 minutes before her. No massage and no attempt at a conversation. I sat under the dryer for 20 minutes because my friend was getting shellac on her fingernails and my polish still rubbed off. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. It is unsanitary and technicians are rude and disrespectful. The nail tech I had, Kenny, did not change gloves between his last client and me (I had to ask), nor did any of the technicians sanitize their equipment after use on a client. They would put their tools back in their basket and hop over to another client and reuse. That is disgusting and how bacteria spreads and infections occur. Kenny was extremely rude to me as well. I asked him prior to being seated if we could test out 2 colors on my toes because I did not know which one I wanted yet. He said yes, that would be fine. When it came time to put on the colors he asked which one I wanted, and I told him I still was not sure and reminded him that he said he would do a swatch of both to see. He then told me "No, I won't. That's too much work." when I asked why, he said it was because he already put the top coat on and removing it would be too hard. I was extremely confused because 1. I already asked you to do this before you even provided a service and you agreed and 2. Placing one stroke of some nail polish and removing it is not a long process...many have done it before. He started to yell and talk about me with his coworkers and I ended up making him swatch it on my fingers instead because he refused to do what he agreed. He did a terrible job on the polish and I ended up having nail polish all over my skin and he did not clean it up with a brush and remover. Never again. read more

Today they tried to "upsell" me on the no chip manicure that lasts 3 weeks and the tech was mad when I choose to stick with the regular manicure. Was charged $30.00 - and the girl painted the white tips on - they are uneven and rough. She tried to charge me $35.00 and when I questioned it, she changed her tune. 3. I was seated at her table and she was on the phone for 5 minutes before even greeting me. 4. In the middle of my appointment someone that I guess she had scheduled an appointment with came in for a face wax - she left me, did the wax job - then came back to me 10-15 minutes later. I was furious - but what can you do? They only understand English when they want to, it seems.... My nails look crappy - they are rough and I had to re-file myself as she filed some at a slant.
