I started going here about three months ago and happened to get Nate V. That time I got a pedi and wanted to try dip mani for the first time. I have paper thin nails and someone I knew started out that way but they grew and got stronger from using dip so I thought I'd try it. Nate not only did the work beautifully but was also informative. We called ahead, they told us to come on in, they greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and sat us side-by-side in their large and spacious pedicure area. This was easily the worst nail experience I have ever had. I took my two nieces in for gel manicures, and they rushed us through the entire process and were incredibly rude to me and my nieces who are young children. They were very aggressive, circling us as we were trying to pick out our colors. I booked the appointment stating that I needed someone who could do some design work. But when I went in and was trying to explain a design, no one knew what I was talking about and they had a very hard time trying to find somebody to do the designs and denied everything requested, even after showing them pictures. They seemed really annoyed that I was even asking for a design in the first place, and it was only on one of their fingers. One of the techs shunned us and said she doesn't do that. The place was extremely dirty. They charged me $40 for a 10 minute gel manicure for a seven-year-old. I don't know how this place is still in business! read more

As a person who has gotten my nails done for years, this place doesn't rank on the top of my list. I have been here a couple times a few years back. There was nothing wrong then, only they were a bit slow. The last time I went back, I waited for 10 minutes... they called my name and then decided it really wasn't my turn. Don't waste your money. The most abbreviated pedicure I have ever received. I booked for a Traditional Pedicure and they performed a more expensive gel pedicure. No attention to detail-no extras and hardly any massage. Just slapped products on and off. For a $70 pedicure I would at least expect a full 50 minutes. Was is and out in 30 minutes if that. Everything seemed to be going alright until amidst painting them, the guy decided to cut off a huge chunk of my pinky nail. It hurt. He never rounded off the edge of it either. I have had my nails done before and that's never happened to me until today. He spent little time shaping my nails and it shows. Several are extremely uneven and different lengths. They also look like they've been growing out for a few days already because he didn't paint far enough back. Both of my thumbs have huge portions on the side that are not fully painted and look like shit. I've been here before and was never super impressed but after my last visit, I'm not planning to go back. I stopped by the salon for a pedicure and shellac manicure late last week. I was helped right away (great) but then it went downhill. The nail tech started my pedicure and right away and promptly gave me a paper cut with the buffing tool - what I've noticed about this place is that they tend to blame you when something like this happens so I tried to downplay it but it still hurt. He then proceeded to file down my toenails so far that I had to treat one of them later to make sure it didn't get ingrown. The polish was all over my skin so I ended up having to clean it up after I got home. We moved to the manicure which was okay but the table was not clean (there was dust from a prior fill in) and I noticed early into the manicure that my tech appeared to be sick - sweating, eyes watering, nose running, pretty obviously suffering from something. I feel bad, but anyone who's sick on the job risks making other employees and customers sick - sure enough, a day later, I woke up with a fever and chills. Overall would not recommend. read more

First time at this nail salon and I'll definitely be back! They had so many people working, there was no wait for anything, even without an appointment. My mom and I were in and out of there in about an hour after each getting a manicure and my mom also getting a pedicure. They had so many different color options, and it was super clean in there. I walked in for a gel pedicure and was taken to a chair immediately. The service was great and quick! During the holidays they give every customer a gift bag with cuticle oil which is nice. The one downside is that they only accept cash tips, so you have to bring cash or pay the fee at the on-site ATM. read more

The good: Convenient location and no need to make an appointment, unless you want a specific tech. The bad: Not all techs are equal. I've gone to Glamour nails probably a dozen times over the past couple of years for pedicures and shellac manicures. Only once have I gotten stuck with a tech who seemed inexperienced, but it makes the process extremely painful (literally). The ugly: Although generally a clean facility, my last experience left me less than satisfied as I was thoroughly grossed out by the tech's station. The shellac dryer had visible and tactile grime on both the inside and out, and the tools looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, much less between clients. I didn't even see any sanitizer out. I left and immediately felt the need to scrub my hands. Definitely did not have any relaxing time. Also, they don't allow for credit card tips. Cash only. Terrible polish job! Rough cuticles everything was just not up to par. Bloody toe missed half the nail with the polish. This was after I told them I wasn't happy and they "fixed" it. I have gone to this location multiple times now & have been severely disappointed each time. The technique is terrible- bulky nails (when using dip powder) with uneven edges, they take foreverrrrr to do your nails (an hour+, not including wait time for a dip- not even a manicure), their prices are way too high for their quality (or lack there of), the staff is really really unfriendly and rude if you ask questions or raise concerns. The manager giggled at me when I complained and told me just to come in the next day before they opened to have my nails redone after having them on for less than 10 hours and having cracks in two different nails. I've been here many times over the years and have never had an issue before. This was my first mani/pedi in 4 months (since Covid) and I was really looking forward to it. A guy I've never seen before with straight bangs gave me a quick pedi and didn't scrub much. Then, on to the mani - uggh. He was SO ROUGH with my nails and cuticles. I jumped twice! He then tried to use gel when I had requested sns. I corrected him so he proceeded to do the sns and was even more aggressive with filing it down. I asked for the top coat without uv and he had to go find it, then put me under the dryer. After drying, the polish bumped up. He then put another coat which wouldn't dry! The entire experience sucked. He had to bring in an older woman to correct his mistakes. She did an ok job considering what a mess he made. I considered not tipping him, but decided to be nice and gave him $10 to which he didn't even THANK ME!! So rude. He is terrible and has no business doing nails. read more

If I could give Glamour Nails 0 stars, I would. The employees here are rude, sullen and make you feel like you're bothering them. My 15-year-old daughter went to get her nails done before Homecoming. She had called the salon ahead of time to get a price quote, which they reluctantly gave her. Once her nails were finished, they charged her an additional $10 over the quoted price - $5 for the matte top coat and $5 for almond-shaped nails (which they gave her without asking, she did not request it). I've had both of those things and was never charged extra for either of them. They took advantage of her because she was young! When I went in to discuss the extra charges, they acted like they'd never seen her before. It's beyond frustrating. This salon does not deserve your money nor your time. read more

Darn it! Each time I go to this salon it gets worse and worse. When I first started going a few years ago, they did a pretty decent job. Over the years the technicians have gotten more and more sloppy, more and more lazy, and more and more complacent. Today I had a guy that I have never had before and he was rude. He jerked my arms roughly and shoved my fingers up and down rather than gently lifting like other technicians do. I'm just about finished with this place. I had a pedicure and a full set of shellac nails. This cost me $91 and as I speak I am having my big toes repainted at home because the paint slid off before I even walked through my house door. You cannot paint over paraffin. You must clean the toenails perfectly before you try to paint. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you're looking for a great salon.
