After getting there early, my intuition said they would not show, and of course at the appointed time, they did not show. I waited just in case and hoping they would call. No one contacts me so I reach out to the company. They tell me that exactly my appointment time, the drivers got stranded on the side of the road. Of all coincidences! They need time to figure out what's going on. After 20 mins, I follow up asking if they are going to make it? They say maybe but maybe I want to reschedule? She told me that she needed to redo my quote because the vin was not put in, and so the quote provided me the incorrect glass order for my windshield. She came back and said that my quote went up to over $1000 from the quoted $672.xx. I was flabbergasted, but not reactive. I clarified that while she had me on hold that I indeed put my license plate in on one quote, and my vin on another quote, and both provided me with the same number for the cost. I explained to her that a quote provided as it was received is legally binding... but at this point there are illegal business practices being implemented. One of two things happened: 1. They bait and switched me and tried to upsell me on a different product upgrade that I didn't request, and denied me my quote that was given. 2. They price gauged me by giving me a falsified initial quote and then up charged me for the same product that I was originally going to receive. ____ on top of the above ____ I received a quote from a local competitor. They didn't not provide or offer their "Price Match Guarantee" either. That is 1000% false advertisement. I was attempting to pay out of pocket, because my insurance dings me for comprehensive claims... don't try to strong arm me. It's very deceptive. 1-3 are ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!
