It made the most sense based on the number of blocks that needed repair and the condition of some other blocks. Bill gave a quick and very reasonable estimate for the work to be done. He was upfront about the timeline and was very flexible in scheduling. On the day of the work, the crew sent out was very professional and on time. (A few minutes earlier actually, and that's ok!). They were very polite and got to work right away taking out the old windows. Within an hour and a half, the windows were fine and the new windows were in. When I went out to check the work, it was literally like no one was ever there. They cleaned up everything immaculately and left without a trace. One of, if not the best experience I've had with contractors doing work in our home. I was undecided about whether to replace the 3 glass blocks with issues or the replace entire window. Glass Block Factory made an on-site visit to assess the window itself and the inside and outside area around the window. Since the window was above an unpaved gangway and on the second-floor scaffolding was necessary for the job. Glass Block Factory provided estimates to replace just the 3 blocks and to replace the entire glass block window. The pros and cons of each option was explained with no pressure. Since the window was 20 years old and there were some grout issues with other glass blocks in the window, I decided to replace the entire window. On the scheduled date, the team arrived. Scaffolding was setup outside the window. Drop cloths were placed inside to contain the debris. The removal of the original window and the installation of the new window was done with skill and efficiency. Work areas were cleaned up prior to their departure. I would recommend Glass Block Factory for glass block window replacement.

After due diligence in researching places, I called Final Touch. The woman on the phone explained how everything was done and also that because I found them on yelp, I get a discount. The guy that refinished it did an amazing job! It took him about 4 hours total. There were several spots that had tiles over-caulked and he fixed those as well as some glue that was on the floor from a vinyl piece that was stuck to the floor. (The bathroom was clear a hot mess.) All in all, we are so happy we went with Final Touch. They give you a 5 year warranty and tips on how to clean your new bathtub. I'd recommend them to anyone.

The more difficult (at least I thought it would be) was to regrout the countertops that were bordering the wall. They had become gross and couldn't be cleaned anymore because the dirt was like stuck underneath so he pulled them all up and regrouted in like 10 minutes. Then he noticed that inside our sink some of the group was coming up as well. He didn't even charge us extra and replaced that in like 2 minutes. Everything was done outstandingly and we will definitely be using them again.

Not measured correctly, had to add extra trim to cover their mistake on our large backsplash slab. Then the measurement person said it was because we were doing a replacement and measurements can be off. The seams are huge and visible and couldn't be adjusted after being placed, I noticed 1 corner wasn't finished and they had to adjust it on site . 9 months later and we have discoloration on multiple edges despite sealing it. I've asked for help and they said this isn't covered under the warranty. I'm looking at costly repairs or replacement on something I waited 15 years to change out. They did do a good job on my quartz remnant for my bathroom vanity but I had to really convince of them if the placement of the sinks as it's off set from what is usual. I would not use them again and it's a shame. Deb was great to work with and is a huge asset to them.

Ardmore Glass and Mirror came out to look at our patio doors after we got a quote from a high end…read morewindow "factory direct" company that blew our socks off with a quote of $5,300. Ardmore charges $250 for the visit whether or not they do anything, but if they can fix it, they don't charge anything extra. Long story short, they arrived on time, took the door apart, fixed it by replacing the wheels and locking mechanism for nothing extra. They were polite, prompt, and very professional.
