Lemondrop martini! Delish!! Who would have guessed?

Wow! Went with my daughter's to a "dive" bar as I try to hit the higher end establishments. But truly a great experience. The bartend are (sorry I didn't get her name) was amazing. I also am worried I can't get my "top shelf" cocktails. I ordered a Grey Goose and Contrau lemon drop. It was not only perfect, it was $8!! Wha??

    Ian and our fabulous martinis!!

Ian was awesome!!! Welcomed our party and was ready for any mixology challenge. Local bar , very upbeat and made us "outsiders" feel so welcome. Definitely give this place a visit!!

Yes, it's a bit pricier, but that feels completely expected for an on-resort restaurant. We started with the chicken wings, and our server was very eager to let us know that we could do as many sauce combinations as we wanted for the 8 wings. We went with half buffalo and half dry rub, and both were excellent. The wings were perfectly crispy, which I love, with the buffalo sauce bringing a tangy little kick and the house dry rub packing in tons of seasoning and flavor. Bonus points for providing both ranch and bleu cheese on the side for dipping! The French onion soup was surprisingly tasty, with a rich, very oniony broth and an impressive gratin of cheese and charred onions on top that gave it a really satisfying and sumptuous crust. For our entree we opted for one of the Restaurant Week offerings, a choice of burger with a side for $20, and went with the wagyu burger plus a side salad. It was delicious, with the patty being cooked to a perfect medium, and the whole thing being so rich, savory, and packed with umami. Overall, this is a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner if you're staying at the Hyatt Regency (especially convenient as it is right off the front lobby), but also even if you're not!

I had the Gambler Steak Burger with garlic parmesan fries. My brother got the Blackened Salmon Ceasar Salad. I was surprised when the waiter said "good choice the salmon here is delicious". They have wild caught king salmon delivered twice a week. We split our food. The salmon was as good or better than any piece of salmon I have ever had. It melted in your mouth. My burger was cooked medium to perfection. Super juicey and delicious. Among the best burgers I have ever had no joke; they grind their own meat. The hand cut fries were really good too. Service is friendly and attentive. Great beer selection and plenty of TVs to catch the game you are after. We liked it so much that we went back and ordered the same dishes the next day and they were perfect again. They passed the consistency test. Yes two days in a row; thats how good it was. I looked at the bad reviews and it must have been off days for those bad experiences.

They probably use corn starch instead of flour, because they aren't overly breaded. Shoutout to the prep workers there (whatup Zoe!), because the food is like crazy good, hot, and fast. For most of the food, they have this insane rotating grill that you can see from the street. Super cool operation Steak salad is a must as well. It's so refreshing! It's got a balsamic dressing, some bleu cheese, and either raisin or dried cranberry and maybe walnuts. I don't actually know because I shovel it down my throat lol. Burgers are the best in the area. Even their less popular items are very well done. Recently got a sausage and peppers sandwich that was as good as what I routinely make at home. Atmosphere is amazing. All the employees go above and beyond. I usually sit at the bar and play any of their video gambles. You win some, you tip extra, you leave happy. You lose some and get some beers on the house. I'll go there if I go to Nevada beaches, or if I want to catch a game. South Lake resident and I generally avoid stateline for it's crowds but I'll head up to Lucky Beaver just for the food. I'm assuming they do PPV MMA fights which is another excuse to show up going forward Shoutout to Bruno as well. Awesome bartender. There's also a few awesome gals who's names escape me at the moment. It's a super chill place while having a great vibe and energy The other patrons are just fun people, it's easy to have a conversation with the guy sitting next to you. It's a well known place but I think it's still a hidden gem amongst all that chaos lol. For a 24 hour place, it's very chill. Never had a bad experience. It's good for hanging out with friends but I wouldn't hesitate bringing my nieces and nephews and whole family there. Only critique is parking. They don't comp it, but all parking is paid now at the casinos, so it's no surprise, that's just the standard.. I think if you get in and out in less than an hour parking is free, so keep that in mind. You can also park further away at other free parking areas and walk.

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and she did a great job walking us through the day's specials as well as some of her favorite picks. I started with the In Crowd cocktail and really enjoyed it. The coconut, basil, and bitters balanced beautifully with the gin, making for a super refreshing drink that felt especially perfect for spring or summer weather. We followed our server's advice and ordered four items, two larger plates and two starters, and everything was delicious. Here's the breakdown: Trout Dip: Fantastic smoky, fishy flavor in all the right ways, served with crostinis. The only small nitpick was that the crostinis were overdone for my taste and shattered loudly when bitten into. Grilled Prawns: Super meaty and seasoned and sauced perfectly, with a bed of slaw that balanced the dish nicely. Scallops: Seared to perfection and in an addicting red Thai curry sauce. I was intrigued by the combo of kimchi, grits, and curry and have to say that it somehow blends amazingly well. Lamb Chops: Cooked to a perfect medium rare, expertly seasoned, with little gaminess and a cooling yogurt sauce that really brought the dish together. All in all, it was a fantastic meal and easy to see why this place is such a favorite among both locals and tourists. The food, the drinks, and the service all come together to make this a great option for any occasion from a casual night out (us) to celebrating something memorable like a graduation (several were happening while we were there).

We were going to make a reservation but a credit card was required - that felt excessive for a reservation on a Wednesday night so we risked it and just showed up. The burrata was nice but crostini was so hard I thought it might tear up my mouth. Gnuddi was tasty but very oily. Great ambience and perfect for a wine drinker - extensive list. We would bring family or friends there for a night classy night out, but it wasn't overwhelmingly amazing to us.

It's a cozy cafe with seating in the front with booths and tables same by the bar area and they also have outdoor seating. The bar area has numerous TVs and video poker. Today I ate at the bar. The bartender was friendly and quick to take my order. I came for breakfast as I usually do. Today I noticed they had a lobster roll for a reasonable price. I was in Maine and paid twice as much. The lobster roll had a good amount of lobster. It had good chunks of lobster and it was made with butter which I prefer the mayonnaise based ones are not my choice. It came with some good size potato chips that appeared to be made in house and sliced cucumbers. They were both fresh and crunchy. I also had two over easy eggs and ice tea. But Julia, our server, was by far the most impressive part of our experience. Aside from her excellent attitude, she was very familiar with the menu, never missed the chance to try and subtly make the upsell and was very organized in the way she both took and delivered our order. My son received his soda from another employee before Julia had even finished taking our drink order, and I saw Julia running hauling ice and doing other things outside the normal server duties, which gave the impression that everyone on the team is looking out for each other.
