Everything we tried from drinks to the main course was amazingly delicious. Their ahi tacos appetizer dish was extremely delicious. I also liked my tuna main dish. Went to Glasspar on New Years Eve and had terrific meal! The waitstaff were very attentive, and extremely nice. Can't recommend this restaurant enough! The cocktails were fantastic. My wife loved the "Knowing the Ropes". The food was exceptional! Started with the Clams, in a flavorful ambrosia with Spanish Chorizo. Moved on to Oysters Rockefeller with creamy cheese and bacon! My wife had the Lobster Roll, which had a distinctly California twist, with avocado and lemon zest, which was outstanding! I had the Scallops along with Pork Belly on the plate. Fantastic! Dear Glasspar - when you are half empty on a Saturday night and a patron asks for a different table because it was warmer you move them. You don't say "we have reservations coming in" But I had a reservation and I was there already! When we gave up and sat down at the freezing table by the door...finally you offered to move us. so disappointed because we loved the decor and atmosphere. the salad was delicious but the swordfish was bland and boring and too many tomato's. very thin cut of fish looked like the frozen cut from Trader Joe's. the shallop dish wasn't good either. the corn sauce was too strong and not good. the scallops were cooked well. our server was very stiff and had no sense of humor. he also didn't report our feedback to anyone and charged us full price for everything we got even though he asked us if we liked the food and we answered honestly maybe a free dessert or something? So underwhelmed. The clam chowder was not creamy but rather like a potato soup without clams. The Brussels sprouts were very good, I'd get those again. But the worst thing was the lobster Mac and cheese. I swear it's the Annie's White Cheddar Shells I give the kids. I should know we've been making them for ten years, but at least doctor it up with better cheese next time. The lobster was good, but the gritty box shells ruined it. Luckily the drinks were good and so were the Oysters Rockefeller. But I'm not sure I'll be headed back again anytime soon. read more

We stopped into Glasspar for dinner this evening. We didn't have a reservation and were seated right away. Thankfully the restaurant was not too busy as it was early. I wish I could give this establishment more than 5 stars! The ambiance and overall vibe of this restaurant is wonderful. I love the decor and all the attention to detail. The food was absolutely delicious!! A loved the artisan feel and the way it was creatively presented. Everything from the appetizer, cocktails and entrees was absolute perfect! I had an incredible experience at this place with a party of 10 last night for my birthday. We sat at a table around a beautiful fire pit and had incredible service and food. Our waiter Hayden went above and beyond and always made sure our waters were full and had excellent drink Recommendations and was extremely kind and made the experience really wonderful for us. My wife, son and I visited Glasspar for a meal. What a great experience! As we were going somewhere else afterwards we ordered a simple meal of scallop ceviche, brussels sprouts, and a couple of fish and chips plates. The ceviche was a starter yet a big dish of very fresh and flavorful scallops with lime, avocado, tomatoes, pickled peppers and purple potatoes. It's as good as it sounds! The brussels sprouts was also a starter and a large one. They were perfectly cooked with bacon, goat cheese, toasted garlic and balsamic reduction. They were amazing. The fish and chips were excellent: crispy with very fresh fish, tartar sauce and duck fat fries. We were there during happy where all beers are half off and cocktails $4 off. I had an IPA. The service was superb: prompt, friendly, professional. Our waiter was great! We sat outside and it was chilled and pleasant. Definitely, we'll be back! read more

Came here with friends on 4/25. The overall restaurant has nice vibe with daily specials. I ordered the seafood platter and NY steak, mind you that the steak cost $56. I ordered the steak med/rare. The steak I received was clearly under 1inch and cooked med through. I asked our nice waitress to return for another steak cooked as requested. She returned to my table few minutes later with the same steak stating the cook just said that it has been cooked med/rare and has returned it back to you. It consisted of a concrete floor with a very large crack running through, tables scattered around, heaters here and there, no plants and nothing to dispel its dreariness. As far as the food was concerned, my partner and I shared a very good shrimp cocktail and excellent oysters. I ordered the seafood special of the evening and it was bland and very forgettable. Four of us diner here last night and over all, it was pretty good. The menu is creative, the portions are good sized and the food was well prepared. The dessert items all sounded good and we got one, which was tasty. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Only 2 drawbacks, but otherwise good. 1. I ordered the NY steak, not sure what cut I got, but that was a pretty bad cut of steak for $46. A lot of grizzle and pretty flat. 2. We had arrived in time for happy hour and our server told us the drinks were discounted. Two of us ordered the house chardonnay. When the bill came, the price was not happy hour price. The server took the check and returned very rapidly, like two checks had been made and gave me the correct bill. I will return at some point and try a different entre. read more
