Such a great speakeasy. Such a fun hidden entrance with a cool way to enter. Once inside, it's everything you want a speakeasy to be. The art and decor is eclectic and classy. It's so quaint and the drinks are the perfect addition to the entire experience. The staff are so attentive and make you feel as if you are guests in their abode. Would love to go back.

I loved my experience at Roost 374. It was super fun trying to look for the entrance and when you get there I love how the host interacts with us and makes it a fun experience. The ambiance is classy, sophisticated, dark but I also know they change their themes so it can be different every night. We're so sad we missed the band performance because it's usually before 10pm so come early to enjoy the performance! I ordered the monkey business and although it wasn't my favorite cocktail I've had it was so well made and the ingredients went so well together. I tried my friend's cocktails and they were a little sweeter. I would definitely come again. It's a great intimate space to talk to others or come with friends. The rule is no phones.

Awesome atmosphere, good drinks and we had so much fun watching the singer. This has become a regular hangout spot for me and my family.

Cool place nice vibe. However, charging $1.50 for a water cube is ridiculous. Frozen water. Suggestion. Use the same Cube of ice.

He sadly passed away recently and his memorial is this weekend, so we tried to go to Lost Inferno to celebrate him with all his high school and college friends. We called in advance and the person we spoke to said we couldn't make a reservation unless we could guarantee 20 people, but we could walk in with a smaller group no problem. Of course we got there right when they opened and they told us they couldn't seat us for an hour. We joined the wait list and walked to a bar a couple doors down waiting for the text that our table was ready. We received a text that our table would be ready at a specific time and then 2 minutes before our table was supposed to be ready we get a text saying we were removed from the wait list with no clarification or follow up. I understand being busy/booked up, but I would have liked to have received accurate information. We could have made reservations online if we had been told. I wore his favorite Goonies Hawaiian shirt and everything expecting to have a nice time talking about my husband. I guess I'm glad we never had the opportunity to experience this level of service with my husband, and guess I won't be back seeing that he's dead and all. Edited to add tips - don't believe anything they tell you on the phone and if you really want to go, make a reservation, and apparently they will close for you if you can guarantee 20 people.

We sat for probably 10 minutes before anyone greeted us, it was 3:30pm so it wasn't very busy, maybe 3-4 other tables. Every time someone came after that we had to wave someone down for water refills, never asked anyone if we wanted more drinks from the bar, nothing. Had my father in law asked for more ice tea and they never even started a new pitcher in 15 minutes. It was not busy. The place had a to of gluten free options which is a reason I wanted to try it. My server had no idea what gluten was. For a place that had half the menu marked as gluten free I was really surprised she really had no knowledge of the menu, but she was nice enough to go ask some questions when i pressed a bit that I wasn't vegan, and it was like an allergy. The food was good, portions were large enough and everything was pretty good as far as the food. Not sure why the service was so incredibly patchy and absent when we ate at 3:30 and the place was 2/3 empty. It was pretty good, I may try again but for the price point I think the service can be a little better. Nice...but slow. Definitely need more training on the menu! Mid. Not bad. Not great.

It feels like a local spot with endless options to enjoy. Their baristas (Lucy is the best) can make everything but also don't shy away from suggesting something new. I've recently fallen in love with an iced flat white with vanilla for a little summer sweet treat. Their drip coffee is divine too! Talk about range... we frequent for brunch/lunch/date night too. Their wine list is truly endless. You can sit inside at the bar, at a gorgeous table with air conditioning, under their adorable pink-striped umbrellas on the patio, or in an extended patio off the sidewalk with plenty of seating. You will be treated with exceptional service regardless of seating. Their brunch menu is delicious. Their chive biscuit breakfast sandwich is incredible, as is their breakfast burrito, chilaquiles AND biscuits and gravy. To be fair, we visit most regularly for a cheese board and meat with a glass of wine. Recently enjoyed the ceviche and smash burger with side-winder fries which was hand crafted and filling. Even our young boys enjoyed every bite. On Sunday's (1st and 3rd of the month) they have live music which is wonderful. Last thing, the cellar cookie is incredible. It's hard to just drop in for a coffee and not leave with one when available. You will never regret a visit to The Cellar! One of the best places in San Clemente.

The fries were especially fun because they were a different shape than your typical fries. My husband also ordered the ravioli, which unfortunately ended up being a disappointment. The menu said it was filled with whipped ricotta, but when it came out, it was actually filled with goat cheese, which he really doesn't like. He let our server know, and they were kind enough not to charge us for it. He ordered the Caesar salad with chicken instead, and really enjoyed it, he said he'd definitely go back for the salad! He was still bummed about the ravioli, though, since he loves ricotta-filled ravioli. And we finished the night with the skillet cookie and ice cream, which was absolutely delicious! Overall, we had a good date night and appreciated how kind and accommodating the staff was. We'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.
