My grandmother's old rocker was in bad condition, with an old paint job peeling off. The wood…read morebeneath looked grayish, either from age or from the paint. Reagan did a beautiful job of getting down to the original oak. She worked with me to choose a stain that would go well with new cabinetry in our home. Some of the old paint deep in the cracks gives it an antiqued look, and it's most definitely an antique, now made like new in the best way. When I dropped off the rocker Reagan said she loved furniture with a story, which my rocker has (To give her a picture of the rocker I sent her a blog post I had written about it: https://biketoworkbarb.blogspot.com/2023/02/the-rocker.html).
